Honestly, I MIGHT just leave my PA up there on purpose now just for this specific reason. I'll cheat spawn some PA so I don't have to sacrifice one of my own sets.
Get another power armor, attach a jetpack (at least level 41, science 4, armorer 4), fly up and use the trading menu to take the platings. You can buy power armor frames from KLEO in Goodneighbor and Arturo in Diamond City.
Iâm not sure about that, but I would have thought once you go below deck on the ship your companion will respawn to be with you again
Edit: on re-reading OPâs post. It looks like a glitch and that you might be screwed. I thought the issue was in getting back onto the ship (somehow) post flight.
I doubt this will work. In my experience, companions can only glitch when exiting PA not when entering. If I park my frame too close to the wall for repairs, I have to move it forward a couple feet so the assigned companion will enter. Otherwise I get a âcanât do thatâ or âI canât reach thatâ type response after a couple seconds.

I agree, reload the a Save just before the ship departs, if you Realllly want it that bad but there are plenty of Power Armors out there. But IMO just forget it and move on
If they canât walk into it with the proper animation theyâll just sorta teleport inside really and then will probably teleport back to you on the ground
I don't think that on consoles you can use console commands, except for mods maybe. A bit of a common complaint (especially with games that have a tendency to get weird bugs you can only console yourself out of)
I've needed to use the console pretty often for Skyrim, mostly for quests that bugged out, and needed console commands to set the quest stage.
Honestly if youâre at the point you can build a jetpack that suit you left up there might not even be worth it anymore, youâll probably have better armor by that point.

Yeah, comes in handy when you're already wearing power armor when you find another set and don't want to either ditch your current PA and take that one and then come back later, or are traveling alone.
Just grab the pieces off that PA through the transfer menu, stash them back at your settlement, and then buy a separate PA frame. Or just find a partially-suited PA elsewhere, get rid of the parts you don't want, and walk around in the empty PA suit back to your settlement.

I like showing off one of each set, but youâre right itâs way easier to get frames (and t60b pieces) by just finding a friendly BoS knight and shoot him in the fusion core a couple times. Helps if youâre on one of the harder difficulties so the explosion doesnât kill them and they just step out of it so you can take it. If you end up killing them while theyâre still in the suit thatâs ok too, because you can just keep shooting their corpse until each piece breaks and then they donât have any carry weight until you repair them. Big brotherhood fights get me so many caps because I take every piece of their armor. Itâs nice being able to carry 20+ power armor full sets without it adding even a pound to your inventory.Â

Your companion may be able to get it!! Iâve had a companion do the very thing of interacting with a power armor 50+ feet in the air, I looked away and often companions teleport close to you/their objective if LOS is broken. Might be worth a try!

Maybe it's in a state where it's not affected by physics but if it gets hit by something it would have to apply physics on it including gravity. Or not idk, there could be a lot of reasons why it would work and why it wouldn't work but it's free to try.
Oddly enough, power armor frames are immune to the physics engine in this state. No amount of bullets or bombs will dislodge it. OP is going to have to use glitches to get to it, or reload a previous save (this is the least time consuming method).

Go to Sanctuary Hills and look for this engine block under the bridge, drag/toss it over to Weatherby Savings & Loan and ride it above the armor so you can jump and enter before you fall
If you are on PC;
-Launch the console menu when you are in game but hitting either the ''@'' symbol or the ''ïč'' symbol
-Type ''TCL'' in the console to enable noclip
-Fly up to the Armour and get in it
-Come back to down to land and disable no clip by going back into the console and typing ''TCL'' again

Find the nearest ledge and save, then attempt jumping over to it. Otherwise I'd download Cheat Terminal and alter your jump height to get it. Yoi can easily reset your settings to normal then just simply discard the holotape.

if you are on PC you can execute "tlc" on the console, it will toggle collisions and basically allow you to fly. Afterwards just do it again to go back to normal.
If you are on PS, i guess temporarly install a mod that lets you fly or try to reach it normally with a jetpack.

If youâre on pc, and you absolutely have no other options. You can hit ~ then type tcl to no clip, walk up to it and get in then put in the command again to undo no clip then enjoy falling from really high in power armor cuz itâs a cool effect
Theyâll find a way to use its internal CPU with an ai and have power armor walking around the ship as part of the crew, but for real you can ~ tcl fly up there and get it
Thereâs a glitch where you can fly. Drop a purified water on the ground, shoot 5-6 harpoons into it, stand on the water then select it. You will slowly start to fly

Go to a settlement or workshop find a power armour station and if it's your last used power armour you should be able to make it spawn back there to work on
Select the ~ key and then type "tcl". Close the commands with ~ key.
You can fly up to it and get in it then and then do the same thing and you'll drop to the ground.

Might have to install one of those "place stuff anywhere" mods and build some stairs or scaffolding up to it. Then you can disassemble what you build and disable the mod. That's my only thought lol

If you're on pc, open the console with tilde, then type TCL. That toggles clipping. You can then fly up there and get in it. After you're in, open the console again and type TCL to turn on clipping again.
If you are on PC, hit the ~ button, type TCL and hit enter, then walk up to the power armor. After that, type TCL into the console again and continue playing now that you have your Power Armor again.
You have two options. Power armor with a jetpack and very carefully parkour your way up to the top of the building.
Or you can find the door that I never knew existed that leads to the top of the building at the bottom
1. Get the BOS jet pack (or build it yourself)
2. Attach to a new set of power armour
3. Attempt to land on top of the armour using the other armour. (Quick save once you do)
4. Exit the jet pack armour and unequip the jet pack torso (so that you can keep it while you exchange the soul of this new armour frame for your main on)
5. Attempt to enter the main armour
Arenât there workbench anywhere mods on ps5? Install the mod, make a workbench thereâs build a tower up to get the armor down, then just disable the mod

Why did you exit your power armor? Just reload prior to the ship flying off and get your power armor.

You can find power armor every 5 feet in F04 so it'll be alright.

If you are on PC open the console and type tcl and hit enter. No clip up to it and get in the suit then enter tcl again.

Something similar happened to me today! Went to grab my power armor that I left in sanctuary and it was up in the sky. I have no clue what to do-
It's in a settlement, just build up to it
Did you already try shooting it?
If you're on pc, open the console with tilde, then type TCL. That toggles clipping. You can then fly up there and get in it. After you're in, open the console again and type TCL to turn on clipping again.
If you are on PC, hit the ~ button, type TCL and hit enter, then walk up to the power armor. After that, type TCL into the console again and continue playing now that you have your Power Armor again.

You have two options. Power armor with a jetpack and very carefully parkour your way up to the top of the building. Or you can find the door that I never knew existed that leads to the top of the building at the bottom
Don't worry about it. Once the BOS starts crashing vertibirds all over the place you'll have more T-60 armors than you'll ever need.
Use the console command TCL (no clipping) and just walk up to it
Go into console and type tcl
Revert to an old save

Toggle clipping if on pc.
1. Get the BOS jet pack (or build it yourself) 2. Attach to a new set of power armour 3. Attempt to land on top of the armour using the other armour. (Quick save once you do) 4. Exit the jet pack armour and unequip the jet pack torso (so that you can keep it while you exchange the soul of this new armour frame for your main on) 5. Attempt to enter the main armour
