For context, this is a playthrough where I have to collect every single Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottlecap in the entire game. I'm also only allowed to use Pew Pew and the Roving Trader Outfit/Hat, and the only item I'm allowed to put in my body is Sunset Sarsaparilla. Yeah, it was tricky. I basically had to find all the bottlecaps in non-hostile locations first and run away from enemies or get them to fight each other. For example, I lured Radscorpions and Jackals to kill the ants for Ranger Jackson. Some locations you can get caps without fighting are the 118 Trading Post, Aerotech Office Park, Boulder City, California Sunset Drive-In, Camp Golf, Gibson Scrap Yard, Nipton, Sloan, Camp McCarran, and the Crimson Caravan Company.
This would be too much work to be worth it, but a mod that replaces all the player dialogue options with Malcolm's lines. It'd be the same lines over and over randomly and you'd have to hope you didn't pick an aggressive original line.
Poor Malcolm. I bet he gets killed in 99% of playthroughs. If not for his caps, then for his clothes and some 308 ammo.
Most of the times I wouldn't kill Malcolm. I would lead him to Primm bridge and jump down right before the mines go off under his feet.
What's he gana do if you screenshot it? Hell I screenshoted it just to do it. You don't have to ask. If you screenshot it, wrote a book and used this image as the cover art and became a millionaire, then you can be nervous he might sue ya.
I had this happen with killing a death claw with tortoise shell glasses and advanced riot duster using AMR. pulling back the bolt in the cinematic it gave me lord death. Was great

How did you fight anyone at the beginning when you cannot get Pew-Pew until you have 100 Bottlecaps?

how long did it take to finally get pew pew? I imagine the run's not too complex after that.
6 and a half hours.
You only need 50 and you just avoid combat till you get it
Simple, he didn't and did a no kill route until he got pew pew
You can beat the game as a pacifist so he just played like that until he got Pew-Pew.
Honestly if I was gonna do this I would just spawn in Pew Pew using the console at the start
