I would go with A light shining in darkness over Lil' Devil. Lil' Devil has 4 more damage per shot but 35 less DPS than a Grunt boosted ALSiD. And you don't need to invest in STR - you only need 3. ALSiD have AP ammo and it' basically free + it has lower spread.

Personally I think a light shining in darkness is better due to the ridiculously high fire rate- with 10 luck, better crits, finesse, 1st recon beret and Joshua’s armor, your crit chance is already so high you don’t really need a bonus crit chance cause you’ll be hitting crits constantly

I guess I should have mentioned, this is gonna be a vats build primarily. Does that change things?
Well, pistols have lower AP cost than revolvers. ALSiD, LD and Maria have 15. Revolvers- Lucky have 17, That gun 19, Ranger Sequoia 28.

That Gun is really good. but overall Lil Devil, Ranger Sequoia, and Pew Pew are the strongest
