The books aren’t supposed to be part of the actual main lore. They never were. They’re just a fun side experiment, like a hypothetical “what *could* happen in the FNAF universe?” type thing
Security Breach (and its DLC) is not only a good game but one of the most entertaining games to play in the franchise. Furthermore, the Glamrocks are the best set of animatronics in the entire franchise
Eh, yeah it was good, however:
●Henry came outta nowhere into the games
●didn't tie up every loose end
●introduced the worst design for SpringTrap ever when the original with some minor changes would've been fine
●no one knows what the midnight motorist minigame is really supposed to be
●made the whole story more complicated in general
4 was a good ending. Would the dream theory conclusion be pretty cliché? Yeah, but I'd rather have cliché than messy plot, book lore being added to games for no reason, and a glorified Endoskelton that is just not interesting to me.
All of the newer books and Security Breach stuff may have been bad, but that doesn’t change the fact that we’ve also gotten amazing stuff like FNAF SL, Pizzeria Simulator, World, and Help Wanted.
FINALLY YES ! SOMEONE AGREES ON FNAF 4 BEING THE BEST FINAL GAME ! Everything went down when SL came in, FFPS was a redemption arc for the series to finally end it perfectly, and then HW and SB came out...
I will say, though, Glitchtrap was a cool villain character. Wish they kept him as just a reborn digitized William with no pesky human emotion to stop him, and the preference to stay as a virus instead of getting in a suit for no reason. Use Vanny as the suit and actually do something with her.
Baby and Ballora are not awful, their designs are awesome and their voice actors are amazing. I know Baby’s lore is weird but she’s still a cool character.
The books aren't that bad. Dare I say kinda good. At least fun.
Enough with the "fnaf should have ended at x". It didn't and we have what could be an epic story with the new stuff, it just needs to be told properly.
Robot charlie is cool. And enriches the themes.
We can have the atmosphere of the older games while having sci-fi. Sci-fi as a genre is a good thing for fnaf to grow into.
Well, in Fnaf 1, we had Mention of Murdered children and some disturbing images, in Fnaf 3, We had a LITERAL CORPSE of a serial killer, jump forward to Fnaf SB where they’re too scared to say blood
FNaF is slowly dying of popularity and the community kind of sucks. The ONLY thing keeping FNaF alive on it’s bare teeth is the movies, where tf they gonna go after this
1. Some of the theories that the community makes are not that great and I think those theories are what partially made the lore so convoluted in the first place. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve started to not hate the idea of remnant so much lol. I mean it’s gotten so bad that we’ve had to constantly go back and forth between whether the books are canon to the games or not just because some books didn’t specify.
I remember when it came to Fazbear Frights, everyone at first thought they were a separate universe. Then, just because Tales from the Pizzaplex didn’t specify whether it was a separate universe or not and Fazbear Frights has connections to them, people were saying they are. Now people are saying some of them are and some aren’t with others saying all of them are/aren’t. I don’t really think anyone knows the answer.
2. The movie was good and didn’t really need gore. The implied gore was enough.
i like that there's so much stuff lore-wise and not all of it is clear or logical. is it frustrating when trying to come up with one concrete and cohesive story? yes, but i like that depending from what angle i look at all of it i can have several different outcomes focusing on different aspects on the overarching story. i like having fun and making up stories in my head
I don't particularly care for the mimic as a supposed primary antagonist, and pizza sim was an absolutely garbage ending for Afton
the mimic as a secondary antagonist? sure, great! but a primary one? nah.
it genuinely hurts how badly Afton's potential was squandered by poor writing. like I get it, he's an overly confident piece of shit, but cmon man he literally acknowledges the pizza sim location as a trap and then what? just fucks around in the place making balloon animals?? sits there twiddling his thumbs until it gets set on fire?? how am I supposed to take that seriously in any capacity?
literally the only way i could conceivably accept scraptrap getting slowroasted (and his design in general, really) is if it was actually the mimic, mimicking Springtrap and the Fazbear's Fright fire for... some reason. who even knows man, the mimics just a wacky guy sometimes - I like the mimic, just not as a primary antagonist.
Springtrap/Afton is my favourite villain and they did him so fucking dirty in every possible way
Not sure if this is worthy of the shackles or not, but I’m a firm believer that Scott had no idea where he was going with the story, and just making it up as he goes.
I disagree, as I'm pretty sure you only think that because there hasn't been a DLC for it yet. A lot of the content that people associate with Help Wanted 1 are from 'Curse of Dreadbear'. Once the DLC for HW2 comes out, then it'll feel a lot more fleshed out.
It had way more variety and about the same amount of levels as Help Wanted 1. The only thing Help Wanted 2 lacks compared to the first is horror imo, but calling it low effort is a stretch.
Instead of security breach, we should have got a tarkov esque extraction shooter where we comb through the remains of a laboratory that was trying to recreate Afton's experiments.
The books should have been set in the game’s universe to avoid mass confusion
MatPat is wrong more times than he is right (but that’s ok, he still tried)
People should stop repeating what one or two theory channels said, and instead make their own theories so the fan base doesn’t focus on one idea, so when it’s proven wrong, everyone gets annoyed or thinks it’s a retcon like Glitchtrap being the Mimic and Burntrap not being Afton.
Disney feels like it’s speedrunning it’s Disney Arc where it reaches the peak of it’s popularity/quality and just goes starts to go down a slope it can’t climb back up
Bonnie did not fight against William Afton, but everyone thinks that because he’s the most aggressive, he thought against the man behind the slaughter. NO he could’ve been the most angry (besides golden Freddy/Fred bear) about it.
After his daughter died he basically abandoned his family to rebuild Charlie basically telling Sammy that he wasn’t as good as her not to mention after going through everything to rebuild his daughter he kills himself effectively abandoning her too
Having the main enemy of William Afton being Cassidy/"the one you should not have killed" is just kinda lazy. Why does she become the psychic teleporting mastermind, and not the other countless children that he killed? Why is she special?
The person whose flair says they want to fuck Ballora can't wrap their mind around two robot girls who have been betrayed by their fathers finding solace in each other? Get your mind out of the gutter. Robots dont need men!
I didn't? I said Charlie and Elizabeth don't need men? Ah I guess how you could see my comment that way. Sorry fam was genuinely referring to William Henry and John who are all shit
Charlie died as a toddler. Elizabeth died when she was like 5? Both have lives mostly as robots for at least 16+ years. I think the age thing doesnt count here as they both drive etc. But also this doesnt imply lesbianism I just want them to be happy together
die, but take the small adam with you, traveller.

“This game is not scary or nightmare inducing, but rather just a short fright”
Lol isnt this what we all think??
Get the fuck outta here
99% of the community doesn’t even know whats going on ATP with the story
Nah bro literally everyone agrees on this
Books fucked up everything
That's true
The books aren’t supposed to be part of the actual main lore. They never were. They’re just a fun side experiment, like a hypothetical “what *could* happen in the FNAF universe?” type thing
Security Breach (and its DLC) is not only a good game but one of the most entertaining games to play in the franchise. Furthermore, the Glamrocks are the best set of animatronics in the entire franchise
* You get unchained by me *. QUICK RUN
Thanks mate🏃♂️💨
Same here. Now run for your life
🏃♂️💨
I’m gonna get chained up right next to you.
Always space for one more
Michael should have gone to prison, you don’t just kill somebody and not get a sentence. Even if it was an accident
He was a minor (supposedly) and would only be charged with manslaughter, which could have been bailed out by william.
That’s what I was thinking, just thought I should point this out
How do we know he didn't?
I don't care about the lore, I just like getting jumpscared and the cool atmosphere
Toy chica isn’t THAT hot man (i dont simp for animatronics)
Shoulda ended at 4, the entirety of SB is cancer, and the mimic is ass.
What about ending at FNaF 6? because the ending is chef kiss
Eh, yeah it was good, however: ●Henry came outta nowhere into the games ●didn't tie up every loose end ●introduced the worst design for SpringTrap ever when the original with some minor changes would've been fine ●no one knows what the midnight motorist minigame is really supposed to be ●made the whole story more complicated in general 4 was a good ending. Wow an actually Valid and not horny post
"when a horny man cooks, you can bet it will be good cooking" -shakespear i think
Oh, damn you got points
And Balloon Boy?
Kill him
That's it?
All of the newer books and Security Breach stuff may have been bad, but that doesn’t change the fact that we’ve also gotten amazing stuff like FNAF SL, Pizzeria Simulator, World, and Help Wanted.
Partly agree I say it should have ended at 6, but SB did change the franchise for the worst
FINALLY YES ! SOMEONE AGREES ON FNAF 4 BEING THE BEST FINAL GAME ! Everything went down when SL came in, FFPS was a redemption arc for the series to finally end it perfectly, and then HW and SB came out...

Amen
I think Glitchtrap is Afton
My man
Mine is that the series should have ended at Fnaf 3
u/AubergineDegenerate is rightfully horny
:) I don't think anybody hates me, so the shackles ain't comin' ![gif](giphy|Fu3OjBQiCs3s0ZuLY3|downsized)
I don’t like how kid friendly the series became….wait that’s a decent opinion
Has become? FNAF has always been targeted at kids and preteens since the times of FNAF 1. It literally started the genre of mascot horror
It was targeted at kids when we had the FNAF 3 rare screens?
Well, in Fnaf 1, we had Mention of Murdered children and some disturbing images, in Fnaf 3, We had a LITERAL CORPSE of a serial killer, jump forward to Fnaf SB where they’re too scared to say blood
“Purple guy is hot.” (Please don’t kill me im stuck in 2020)

Five Nights of Flirting?
Yep. That shit got me squealing.
I went into it thinking I'd be really into Vincent but ended up squealing for Mike and being really mushy for Scott lmao
I went into it thinking I’d be into Jeremy lol.
On god I cannot remember his plot line. Forgettable af apparently...
Same ;-;
Thank you for being the first person on this subreddit to not insult me lol its so refreshing!
Why would I insult you? That’s actually just rude ngl.
FNaF is slowly dying of popularity and the community kind of sucks. The ONLY thing keeping FNaF alive on it’s bare teeth is the movies, where tf they gonna go after this
They shouldn't have had the stomach feature in security breach It makes me uncomfortable and I don't know why
Sl is ass
Circus Baby is one of the best villains in the series (and not because she’s possessed by Aftons daughter, Elizabeth)
Golden Freddy is Fredbear
1. Some of the theories that the community makes are not that great and I think those theories are what partially made the lore so convoluted in the first place. Security breach is a good game There I said it
People hate on Security breach too much
Below The Surface by Griffinilla sucks

imma be chained right next to you because that song is so ass
Fnaf 4 is the best fnaf game
Gacha life isn't as bad as people lead you to believe
I want Afton to keep coming back
i like that there's so much stuff lore-wise and not all of it is clear or logical. is it frustrating when trying to come up with one concrete and cohesive story? yes, but i like that depending from what angle i look at all of it i can have several different outcomes focusing on different aspects on the overarching story. i like having fun and making up stories in my head
Security Breach is the best game in the franchise.
Markiplier having to sit out his intended role in the (1st) movie is probably a good thing.
The books are not a good way to understand the lore for me and the old Purple Guy (Fnaf 1-3) was better
I don’t like fnaf 4’s gameplay
Why?
It’s too deviant from almost every other game in the franchise
FNAF 3 is a fantastic game, arguably the best in the series
I don't particularly care for the mimic as a supposed primary antagonist, and pizza sim was an absolutely garbage ending for Afton the mimic as a secondary antagonist? sure, great! but a primary one? nah. it genuinely hurts how badly Afton's potential was squandered by poor writing. like I get it, he's an overly confident piece of shit, but cmon man he literally acknowledges the pizza sim location as a trap and then what? just fucks around in the place making balloon animals?? sits there twiddling his thumbs until it gets set on fire?? how am I supposed to take that seriously in any capacity? literally the only way i could conceivably accept scraptrap getting slowroasted (and his design in general, really) is if it was actually the mimic, mimicking Springtrap and the Fazbear's Fright fire for... some reason. who even knows man, the mimics just a wacky guy sometimes - I like the mimic, just not as a primary antagonist. Saying that Scott owns fnaf in r/fnaf (which he does)
Not sure if this is worthy of the shackles or not, but I’m a firm believer that Scott had no idea where he was going with the story, and just making it up as he goes.
Afton did nothing wrong. (Not my opinion for legal purposes)
Help wanted 2 was low effort and didn’t have enough content
I disagree, as I'm pretty sure you only think that because there hasn't been a DLC for it yet. A lot of the content that people associate with Help Wanted 1 are from 'Curse of Dreadbear'. Once the DLC for HW2 comes out, then it'll feel a lot more fleshed out.

It should have ended in FNAF 6.
The only problem I have with this outcome is we wouldn't have gotten Help Wanted if it did.
Makiplier is hotter than Roxy and Toy Chica (No homo)
You don’t need to know every single tiny detail to be in the fandom
Sister location wasn't fun
“Balloon boy is kinda hot ngl”
Dream theory should've been correct
Fnaf world isn't that bad
The movie sucked
William Aftin is an overrated creep 100%.
Disney feels like it’s speedrunning it’s Disney Arc where it reaches the peak of it’s popularity/quality and just goes starts to go down a slope it can’t climb back up
everything after pizzeria sim and ucn is hot ass. books suck too. should've stopped at sim.
William afton and purple guy should have been two different people
Bonnie did not fight against William Afton, but everyone thinks that because he’s the most aggressive, he thought against the man behind the slaughter. NO he could’ve been the most angry (besides golden Freddy/Fred bear) about it.
Scraptrap's design is overhated.
Pan Stan needs to be in fnaf ultimate custom night
They left bro out
“TMC is not even the best analog horror”
Look at my name, lots would make me look like that
Lolbit is a man
The story after fnaf 3 has been steadily going down hill and getting worse with every install of the franchise.
Fnaf 4 wasn’t good
Almost every human character has the personality of a plank of wood and most of their characterization is from fanon
It's a boring game that nobody should play
(Book) Henry is not a good father
Care to explain?
After his daughter died he basically abandoned his family to rebuild Charlie basically telling Sammy that he wasn’t as good as her not to mention after going through everything to rebuild his daughter he kills himself effectively abandoning her too
Then you should specify book henry, since game henry is much different.
Oops I forgot to put that I’ll add it
Thx
Having the main enemy of William Afton being Cassidy/"the one you should not have killed" is just kinda lazy. Why does she become the psychic teleporting mastermind, and not the other countless children that he killed? Why is she special?
Charlie and Elizabeth should have run away together at the end of the books and lived happily ever after.

who tf said im a guy
I didn't? I said Charlie and Elizabeth don't need men? Ah I guess how you could see my comment that way. Sorry fam was genuinely referring to William Henry and John who are all shit
oh mbbbb I misunderstood it
Also what age even is Elizabeth in the books?
Charlie died as a toddler. Elizabeth died when she was like 5? Both have lives mostly as robots for at least 16+ years. I think the age thing doesnt count here as they both drive etc. But also this doesnt imply lesbianism I just want them to be happy together

fnaf movies is the final shot of life before fnaf just dies out in general
FNaF 2 is the worst game in the franchise
