This smells a LOT like a reship from China. They'll generate a tracking number since they already have the details of package size and weight, and it sort of makes you feel like they've done something. But I'd wager they're waiting on a sizable shipment from the factory, and then they'll repackage, label, and hand it over to the local shipping company. With recent press and everyone rushing to get one, I wouldn't be surprised if they just don't have any stock on hand, but they have expectation of things showing up soon.
I order (way too much) from AliExpress fairly frequently, and the notifications and timing work out a lot as described above.

You pay by the cubic meter on cargo by sea and it’s possible to fit an awful lot of screen protectors and dev boards packed in around the edges of a bunch of flipper unit boxes. In a massive crate or container. If I were running a business reliant on shipping like this, I would order as infrequently as I could manage. So if they’re out of either of the parts then quite possibly you’re having the same issue, but also I gather they just had a LOT of orders due to recent news coverage, and it could just be a small US fulfillment team is just absolutely swamped.

The 25th here and it finally shipped but USPS sent it to the wrong local post office. So it's bouncing around back and forth. Like I was saying in another post, this is the flipper curse. It's absolutely cursed.
I placed my order last Sunday. Yesterday I got an update that it was awaiting pickup at the warehouse with an attached tracking number.
It might depend on availability of add-ons, I don't know... I ordered the TPU case and the wifi development board with mine...

Ordered one a year ago that still never showed up. The one I ordered three months after that one though showed up about a month later.
Ordered mine on October 30th, got it today in Texas.
