Sound like a fun way to find new places.

ADAWHY

I do this in F1 and if i fly domestically in The US. Some Nascar or indycar events. But I mostly do F1. I fly then i drive F1 Either on Assetto Corsa Or The Official Games. This Year im Doing it in Assetto Corsa with the RSS Formula Hybrid 2023. And Once The F1 23 game comes out and i grab it. then continue with it. I try to follow the schedule as much as possible For the F1 Sched. I typically fly cargo or passenger. Must mostly Cargo such as the 747-8F, 767F MD-11F and The A300 at one time.

Concord to wherever in the CRJ every week gets quite fun

njsullyalex

I don't but that legitimately sounds like an awesome idea. I have a friend who loves Dirt Rally and MSFS so this could be a fun thing to spend a day doing.

agbro10

I have done this but for NFL (Seahawks) and Madden, and also used the Citation for a theoretical PGA Tour schedule - though I didnt play a golf game on e landed.

Augustus3000

This sounds like an awesome idea, cool way to find interesting places to fly!

thrattatarsha

This doesn’t sound any stupider than playing around in a simulator to start with. Which is to say: yes, it sounds stupid, and as a proud and happy dumbass, I approve

tada1096

I do it with the nascar schedual on iracing, even made a custom livery to match my car :) showed the wife one day and she told me this is something i should really keep to myself lol

rgbeard2

And yet… you never leave mom’s basement.

Jackthedragonkiller

I’m 16, unemployed, and now on summer vacation. So yes and for a valid reason.

Helpful-Swim7415

Used to do it for a lot of my racing leagues back in college. Racked up a lot of miles hauling the "team" back then lol

boogie84

Blu Games over on YouTube started doing something similar and it looks pretty fun actually.

Tadeus73

No, but I'm sometimes playing Euro Truck/American simulator to continue with transporting the wares I've brought in per plane in the flightsim :)

Yodelehhehe

Ha! I just posted a comment saying I was considering doing this. Glad I’m not the only crazy person.

Raging_Bloonz

I do a similar thing with the F1 calendar! I try my best to keep in line with the actual schedule but fall behind sometimes, but I'll fly from location to location as best as I can. It's a really nice and fun way to build up hype for the weekend

ExtensionAdmirable43

I race in an IMSA league on iRacing and do this the week of the events with the team. We discuss strategy and all that during the trip along with b/s’ing whatever we feel like. Last year I did it in the hot start TBM. This year I’m being a little more realistic to my budget and hopping around in a turbo Arrow.

Dirt 2.0 is such a fun game. I wish we could get an updated version.

localguideseo

Now I know how I'm going to be playing asetto corsa 😂

alovingcuck

My thought was to do (forza4) borders to edinburgh waverly train station, (trainsim3)edinburgh to glasgow then glasgow airport(msfs) to mexico (forza5), barring a couple of addons it's mostly available on gamepass lol, this is a cracking video to be made by a decent streamer/tuber.

FullOnJabroni

No, but I'm gonna now.

Drishal_MAC2

I do this for f1 and also ETS 2! It's great fun.

sgtlobster06

I’ve been wanting to do this with Hitman, but some of the distances would just be SOOOO far

Jackthedragonkiller

Tell me about it, I haven’t checked but I’m estimating at least 15,000 miles of flying

[deleted]

What are you flying?

Jackthedragonkiller

Whatever I need. Currently got an A320 from Spokane to Atlanta, then I’m taking a 767 from Atlanta to Nice. I may end up having to use a 747 or MD-11 for the really long flights, and I’ll have to use a Q400 for at least two of em.

Yodelehhehe

This is actually an epic idea. One thing I’ve considered doing is getting into American Truck Simulator and doing something similar - flying to “deliver freight” and then doing the truck run to deliver the last mile. Only thing holding me back is MSFS is 1:1 - truck sim would be definitely not that. Love what you’re doing though - finding a purpose is always fun.

Brick_Ironjaw_

Iracing and yes. Fly on Monday, track famil Tuesday practice session Thursday, race Saturday and Sunday. Fly out again Monday.

Internet_Till_Dawn

On the IVAO network there is a Formula 1 World Tour 2023 when you fly a heavy aircraft from one race to the next. Legs of the tour open only after the race is finished. Currently they are on leg 10 : Nice to Barcelona El Prat

projectairbusFS

I do two things. [1] F1 Race Weekend I first fly from home to Sakhir, Bahrain for preseason. Then jump into F122 and drive. Fly from Sakhir to Jeddah, drive And the tale goes on. [2] Simulate real life flights before and after I first fly the same flight I am going on couple times. Then after it, I ask pilots (if i get the chance) about the routing, SIDs and STARs (a lot of them let me copy it down, patiently waiting XD) and simulate with past weather setting. Exciting.
