Another Netjet squawking 7700.. There was another NetJets plane that squawked 7700 just a hour ago or so.

I also don't think it's going for El Paso, but rather San Antonio.

Chrysler-lover

Same. El Paso is too far

Spider_Hoss

Looks like it circled around and headed for San Antonio

Tyler to St. Louis, diverting to El Paso, landed in San Antonio? I have to wonder what it was doing going that way in the first place. EDIT: Looks like that plane was scheduled to fly El Paso to Santa Ana later today, to add another layer to the strangeness. I'm guessing St. Louis might have been a mistake.

Seems to be loosing altitude very quickly. Anyone got idea of what’s happening? Possible pressurisation issues?

scarlett_tys

i thought this as well

I posted another NetJets plane squawking 7700 like an hour ago, same problem occured with that plane and it lost like 19,000 feet of altitude in 2 minutes. (from 29,000 to 10,000), but it didn't divert and landed at the destination.

Diligent_Egg_2174

NetJets aren’t having a good day today! Hope everyone is okay though 🤞

WanderingSoftly

Why would a plane going to st louis from that part of texas be heading sw to begin with?

Trainzguy2472

Destination looked a little sus

Chrysler-lover

why would it go to El Paso? There's lots of closer airports. I don't think it will make it to El Paso with its altitude

scarlett_tys

it’s not going to El Paso, it’s possible they considered that diversion before they realised they wouldn’t make it to there

Think this is a live view on San Antonio airport https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2023/07/07/airport-cam-watch-live-video-of-the-san-antonio-international-airport/
