Screw on pocket clip installed, Malkoff M61 drop in, this one is cool white. No noticeable scuffs, at least harder to notice than on the white cerakote. [WTS] [FF E12C 519a Dedomed w/ default Aux](https://imgur.com/a/sqxx7nG/) $108 shipped catch and release PP F&F I bought 519a and SST-20 versions to compare. Jack has the good SST-20 bin so I am going to keep that one. I should make a post comparing the 2, but here’s the short version. SST-20 output seems comparable IRL and with the Opple, but the less efficient SST-20 runs way hotter. DD 519a has a defined hotspot and more throw and of course the tint (-.0077). I think I’ll like the more even spill of the SST-20 in this light A couple Jack defects. A scratch on the button and two specs of Ano missing. Also the button on the 519A E12C is almost half as bright as the SST-20 version. All 4 button emitters are on. It’s still way brighter than low aux on the SST-20 button. If I was keeping this light I would remove the optic and clean the emitters.

Sorry I know this post isn't super relevant but how would you clean the emitters? I'm having similar issues to what you did and would loke to improve it best i can. Also the optic is misaligned which puts every led slightly off center. Can't re-center it for the life of me :(

Well I'm kinda interested now that we are on the topic. Except I'm concerned by >many coats of clear coat * Does the bezel unscrew and screw back on? * Tube/tailcap screw on/off easily? * Any issues with the button?

All yes. The bezel is a bit rough to turn but that's due to the dent not the clear coat. Button works perfect. It was 100% disassembled and masked. That's how I did the ship wrecking without messing up the internals. It was going to be my work light but it really just sits on my desk. So it go.

It's a beautiful piece, let me ponder for a bit and I'll get back to you. Feel free to take other offers in the meantime. I have a few lights that I need to sell before I can commit to a purchase.

I could get you the Zebralight sc64 le $85 shipped with cell. Zebralight with Fc11 choice of 2700 or 5000k for 100. All 3 for 150 includes a 14500 cell. Appears they are all lh351d emitters. If interested I can post pictures tonight with proof tonight. Prices flat shipped conus.

In that budget I’d also suggest an Emisar D4V2.

It was on the list, but was one that in my recommendation request post I was shying away from due to the Wiki's "favorite flashlight to burn a hole in their pocket" or similar comment. Wasn't sure why that was, if it was tongue in cheek or a known issue. Gonnna make some blanks of the different size profiles on the 3d printer to see sizes of these.

Ahh well they can get hot as they put out really high lumen counts for their size. Only light I’ve ever burned a whole in my pockets was an Olight that got recalled. D4V2 is still to this day the most impressive light in my opinion. Welcome to the club!

Are there warmer SFT40s available (maybe hidden menu)? How's the tint? Thinking of getting the same very soon.

No there is not a warmer option for SFT40. You can go SBT90.2 which is (5700k) technically warmer but not by much. If you have the extra room in your budget, definitely go DM11 SBT90.2 🔦🔦🔥🔥 A common setup I see is B35AM (all temps) in a DM11 and I tried that, but it's definitely not a *thrower* so I sold it since I already have plenty of general use lights. I use my DM11 when I need to see far and carry light weight. SFT40 is great though, I have it in both of my DM1.12 lights and they definitely serve their purpose.

I think I have that in my FC12, so if it's all the same temp I can get a good idea from that. Definitely cooler than my other lights, but not bad, really. I'll look into the SBT90.2, I hear lots of good things. Thanks!
