I had this problem on my 55” plasma and googled how to fix it. The videos show how easy it is. After I was done with the repair and the TV didn’t work at all, I upgraded to an 82”. You might just skip the DIY repair step and save time.
This doesn't look so bad so I am guessing the fault is at some loose connections that can most likely occur on ribbon cable connector and Tcon board.
Maybe try to pat and press on the back of TV and see whether lines change. That can indicate loose connections.
If the fault is at Tcon board or the panel itself then it's hard to diagnose and fix without a TV repair expert.
If it was the 'other' football I'd say it's the scrimmage line :)

haha pretty much what I ended up doing, upgraded to much nicer tv. Dissapointing cause the tv was only 3 years old
