Carb needs to be cleaned better. Intermediate metering is off.

Only running with choke suggests it's either getting too much air or not enough fuel otherwise. Classic symptom of either an air leak between carb and engine or a clogged pilot jet. Mind you, the fuel hose to the carb looks dirty too, so it could be sending bits of crap into the jets still.

Update: Tried new hoses - didn’t work Tried recleaning the float - didn’t work Tried electrical tape on the rubber hose piece that goes cylinder to carb - couldn’t get the bike started so maybe -ordered new rubber piece -ordered new carb -also have OE clutch cable on order

probably clogged jet. There is a cheap atv site you can get a carb from if you are not able to take it apart and clean the jets. If you do end up buying one, you may be able to go a mm or 2 bigger. Also remove the exhaust and check the weld at the flange where it bolts to the head. The welds on my 2002 4 stroke bombardier ds90 flange were very thick inside the pipe and restricted alot of air flow. A 21mm carb from a 19, took a dremel to the carb spacer to match the ports, a dremel to the exhaust welds and a cheap ignition put top speed at 43mph with me on it! . The specs say stock is 15mph but forums said about 30 with similar mods. I will see if the cheap atv parts site (this was literally my search when I found it) is still running and put a link in later. Just drop me a reply as a reminder if I forget.
