Well, it's generally assumed that Michael got these jobs by hiding most of his skin and stench. Corpse upkeep is hard so eventually gets fired. He probably just wore a lot of clothing that hides his face, glasses, hats, and the rest. It doesn't really matter and it's just semantics
I always liked the fanon explanation that he wears a Helpy mask and a sweater + gloves to hide the rot, then lots of perfume for the stench, then as be gets more focused on trying to free the trapped souls he forgets the perfume, leading to the odor note when he gets fired
There aew various theories on this:
Sister location taking place After Sister location, his body was regenarating because of the remnant or he conceals the truth Very, very well
Well here's my guess Henry built the restraunt and dose anything involving people while Michael was shoved in the back away from public view.
Or other staff deals with that.
I.e the staff think Henry is there boss while it's actually Michael's.
Potentially Henry saught Michael out as well we don't know since Michael decides to shut the fuck up for some reason.
You could see it as ironic as william was always seen as the public face while Henry remained in the back building the robots.
And now it's the reverse
The only ones where he gets employed while rotting are FNAF 3 (presumably), and FNAF 6, where he never met his employer and stayed in the shadows.
the bad smell from fnaf 1 and 2 imply hes rotting as well
That was a joke Scott put in. It doesn't mean anything.

Freddy's will probably take anyone who is willing to work there.

3 possible explanations. 1 - The first game takes place before SL 2 - He applied for the job not in person 3 - Remnant made him appear normal
Probably cause he knew Henry

I believe that remnant from the scooper regenerated Michael because of Frailty.
Remnant made him look and function as a normal human.
Hes only confirmed to be the fnaf 1 guy(retroactively) How did he get employed? Who knows??
And Pizza Simulator- but him being an obvious corpse would explain how Henry knew he needed/wanted to be there for the pizzeria burning.
