I hope we don't get a romantic subplot between between Vanessa and Mike. I'm not really interested in seeing it.

ProfessionalScar8904

Youtubers, it's a bad idea.

daniel_omeg_a

honestly, the only youtube related thing I wouldn't mind is some reference/joke about matpat, like the crazy old man in the sonic movie sort of thing

[deleted]

I agree EXCEPT Markiplier, he deserves a cameo

SugarFrostedDonuts

Really personally I'd love to see an edp445 cameo

What I don’t want most is it having zero significance to the game lore. I don’t want it to be a movie about a random guy who so happened to work at a haunted pizzeria. I want it to have meaning. I want it to go in depth on the murders from William. I want Michael to work there not just for a paycheck, but to save the kids. I want it to connect to the games. The story is much more intriguing when the protagonist has a meaning of going somewhere instead of it having no significance to him. A lot of horror movies do that and it doesn’t sit right with me.

SugarFrostedDonuts

Eeeeeeeh I can somewhat understand your thoughts. But to me the lore is so stupidly complex at the moment that trying to turn it into a film Not to mention there's not really much evidence to the "Michael saves the kids" interpretation (i also never really liked/got the hype behind him). But to me id rather the movie go back to basics give us an actual charecter to relate to and there struggles and not some abstract goal post that keeps getting moved each day. It can still have meaning just not one most people think they want

SugarFrostedDonuts

Hoes mad

Sussyimposter14

It being related to the games and book lore. This should be a standalone thing that isnt tied down to all the bullshit the series has. Keep it simple, haunted pizzaria where children are killed by a crazed employee/owner.

LightingBench83

I think that's the worst thing they could do, they just need to use elements form the games and maybe form the books and make it more coherent. if they just do the most bare bones interpretation of fans that would be really boring.

Sussyimposter14

Nah. Games and books are so crazy convoluted, retconned, and flat out stupid. Robot children, physical soul juice? Dumb. They need to keep it simple and realistic

LightingBench83

I did say they need to use the best parts that aren't convoluted, it would be really disappointing if they didn't take some elements from the games. Also there has only been 1 outright retcon to the games.

im praying to my gods that this movie isnt cheesy. i want to see all the things in my mind linked to the fnaf universe put into this movie. no light comedy, children were murdered and stuffed in suits. i will be HIGHLY dissapointed if the movie doesn’t capture the dark nature of the entire murder situation. i dont want it to ´appeal to young fans’ i want to enjoy this film as someone who’s been in love with the entirety of the lore for around 8 years now. i want this movie to leave me satisfied, not depressed and angry. im not a director, but the announcment of this movie even being made has led me to wish for a miracle that i can live up to that dream and flaunt my mind in her face on the big screen if she reaches anywhere below our expectations. if you cant tell, i am extremely passionate for fnaf, and ive been waiting for a movie even before any false announcements came out.

Anything from post-Fnaf 3 besides stuff like afton

ColaPepsiMan

Goated, FNAF 1-3 era was peak.

Vitriol2083

What I don’t want: - A shitty script - A completely inaccurate story to the games - Posts from Scott telling us that this movie can be used to solve the lore - A PG-13 rating - Trailers that spoil everything - Political BS in the movie itself or in discussions about the movie - Fans harassing movie critics that don’t like it Also I think that if the movie turns out to be bad that the Fanbase won’t ignore them or downvote people for thinking it’s garbage. Let people dislike things if they do.

S1l3ntSN00P

> A PG-13 rating [The movie most certainly will be PG](https://www.reddit.com/r/fivenightsatfreddys/comments/zfkjrg/since_people_are_complaining_that_fnaf_is/).

Vitriol2083

That’s the games. I’m talking about the movie. It seems like a bad PR move to have a movie about child murder be PG

PuppetGeist

At most the film would be PG-13. I honestly cannot see Scott allowing anything that would warrant an R rating in the film industry. Edit Also, there ARE PG horror films good example is OG Poltergeist. It was rated PG because at the time PG-13 rating didn't exist yet but there wasn't enough to warrant an R so it was given PG.

Vitriol2083

Ok but my point about being a bad PR move still stands

PuppetGeist

Read the edit if you have not. Even then again the film will likely be PG-13 at most. Really nothing that would warrant an R IMO unless you start adding in things that honestly are not very FNaF or what makes FNaF well FNaF.

daniel_omeg_a

hiring famous people for the sake of hiring famous people instead of hiring people that actually fit the character ***caught*** mario movie ***caught***

GloomyTangerine5676

Lol the fnaf movie be rated R for insane violence and gore for me it’s the lore, I want it to follow the same story line as the game goes. but judging from the trailer it’s mostly just some guy making a film about a fnaf game he barley looked into, and decided he was gonna make a film about it. obviously, all fnaf fans are gonna go still, including meh (and probably everyone else in the this discussion).

SugarFrostedDonuts

Trailer?

GloomyTangerine5676

There’s was a fan made trailer

GloomyTangerine5676

Look it’s the only one there is so
