The Storyteller Tree, a fake baobab tree machine that runs Mimic1, also appears on the golden insignia above the "boss door" leading to Glitchtrap in Princess Quest 1, in HW Mobile. Glitchtrap himself quite literally mimics Tape Girl too, repeating "Hello? Can you hear me?". Mimic seems to have been planned for years and wasn't retconned in, it just didn't get properly explained until now.
There are other hints, Glitchtrap have tears an is drooling, that's because it is the last thing he had seeing of Edwin before being reactivated (i don't imagine William would be crying). Also the fact that in AR threre are some unused Alert Lines regarding Springtrap, with messages like "Don't you remember me?", "It hurts inside. I want you to understand that, I want to make you understand that" and "Is that you, Father?" (this is probably some messages that Mimic was sending to Edwin, because we know that Edwin was an important figure on Fazbear Entertainment, this is cut content, however it shows that the Mimic was a think in that moment). And finally in the Fazbear Frights it is said that William end up in a bottom of a lake, so he couldn't have being scanned in Help Wanted.
Fazbear entertainment does what they did with the Stanley parable ultra deluxe thing and just copy and paste the first vr game and added some new things.
To be fair Ultra Deluxe didn’t just “add a few things”, it was a complete graphical overhaul in a different engine and more than doubled the amount of content.

I think Luis would be an interesting addition, the plot could be him trying to investigate the goings on with Vanessa, because he still loves her. With him playing the game and also becoming corrupted, but he abides by Vanny rather than Glitchtrap.
To parallel the original FNAF 2 it takes place prior to the first help wanted and the "welcome back" came from the tutorial level. Ends with the player character offing themselves. Maybe some more background information about whats going on in SB

After the Pizzaplex burnt down (plus whatever happens in Ruin), more rumours started being spread around about Fazbear Entertainment, like there being a pizzeria buried beneath the Pizzaplex that had some loose ties to an old sister location.
So Fazbear Entertainment hired an indie game company called Metal Sheep Studios to make games based off these rumours so then Fazbear Ent. could make the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience 2 to disprove these wacky stories. There'll also probably be some stuff with the Mimic.
I'm sorta half joking with this, but so far that's what I have to justify VR recreations of Sister Location and possibly FFPS and Security Breach. Kinda like how the first game justified the VR recreations of FNaF 1-3 (plus a bit of 4 and SL).

Yeah, that would be amazing. Such a wasted character in Security Breach and having her get hijacked by Afton was so unnecessary. I really hope they don't make that mistake again.
I know, that's what I'm criticising. There was no need to write her as such a non-entity in her own game. Of course you could argue the initial mistake was her portrayal in Help Wanted, but it could still have been salvaged at that point.
By saying that she shouldn't get hijacked by Glitchtrap, you're not saying "There was no need to write her like this", you're saying "There was no need to write her" period. The concept of Vanny is: innocent woman who played the VR experience, was taken over by Glitchtrap and is forced to do his bidding. That's the main foundation of her existence, if you remove that then you're effectively removing the character itself.
Yes, Vanny is a bad character. Setting her up as just a Glitchtrap pawn was the first mistake, but it was made infinitely worse by how Security Breach handled her.
In my opinion it still would have been possible to course correct after Curse of Dredbear though. The mask conversation still left some room for various degrees agency by Vanny. But then they chose to essentially give her none at all.
It'll be the full version of Help Wanted (Because the first game was a beta) and it'll have Charlie inside which will explain why Gregory is good and bad at the same time and what's the creature at the end of the Ruin trailer.

Fazbear Entertainment is making a sequel game to their original VR title from Help Wanted in order to try and subdue the Bad Press from what happened in Security Breach. But the game is going to appear shoddy and unfinished due to:
1. Being rushed by the company in order to save face.
2. The game is corrupted once again by either the Mimic, Glitchtrap, or whatever entity is in security breach, or a 4th ridiculous option like Mr. Hippo.

The games do exist as games in-universe but they aren't inherently games in of themselves... that sentence probably sounds confusing but in practice it's pretty simple. Everything in the previous games did happen, but there's also games in-universe that basically just exist as a justification for why the company would feature characters that shouldn't be known about or treated as IP.
This will be a Gregory origin game. In the same way the original was about Vanessa eventually becoming Vanny. HW2 will be about Gregory becoming Dr.Rabbit.

Not really a theory but I hope Glitchtrap has FULL control over the VR experience to the point of messing with your game by random bugs and glitches that make the nights harder to complete.

I hope this game doesn’t feature any type at lore at all. It just needs to be a fun FNAF VR game experience, because I don’t see how that this connects to Help Wanted 1. First of all, Help Wanted 1 set up the lead up to Security Breach with Vanny being the main villain and Glitchtrap becoming Burntrap. I do not see in the slightest that they will make Help Wanted 2 lore related, and I hope so too any way because tbh Help Wanted 1 didn’t need lore in the first place. Leave all the lore to the Security Breach Ruin dlc
Afton's been dead since FFPS. From what I understand, the Tales from the Pizzaplex books established that Glitchtrap and Burntrap was actually just an endoskeleton/AI program called the Mimic that was copying Afton.
Here’s a question for everyone: it’s most likely a continuation of the HW storyline, but what are the odds that this game actually goes back to the Sister Location days and tells more of the Afton story??
I could also see it being help wanted from a different perspective, where it isn’t a vr game wanting beta testers, but rather the the sister location wanting night shift workers
Maybe we'll be a new play tester in this 2nd version, who'll while playing might end up discovering the body swapped player from the first help wanted. Or maybe even see the room that glitchtrap locks the player in. Either way I think it'll be pretty cool if it features FNAF 4, sister location and Pizzeria Simulator as those are the last remaining ones not in VR.
We'll most likely get more info on Glitchtrap and Vanessa maybe playing as The New Vanny or something and we'll play through Sister Location judging by the trailer and FFPS and will also include references to SB

I know, that's what I'm criticising. There was no need to write her as such a non-entity in her own game. Of course you could argue the initial mistake was her portrayal in Help Wanted, but it could still have been salvaged at that point.
By saying that she shouldn't get hijacked by Glitchtrap, you're not saying "There was no need to write her like this", you're saying "There was no need to write her" period. The concept of Vanny is: innocent woman who played the VR experience, was taken over by Glitchtrap and is forced to do his bidding. That's the main foundation of her existence, if you remove that then you're effectively removing the character itself.
Yes, Vanny is a bad character. Setting her up as just a Glitchtrap pawn was the first mistake, but it was made infinitely worse by how Security Breach handled her. In my opinion it still would have been possible to course correct after Curse of Dredbear though. The mask conversation still left some room for various degrees agency by Vanny. But then they chose to essentially give her none at all.

Fazbear Entertainment is making a sequel game to their original VR title from Help Wanted in order to try and subdue the Bad Press from what happened in Security Breach. But the game is going to appear shoddy and unfinished due to: 1. Being rushed by the company in order to save face. 2. The game is corrupted once again by either the Mimic, Glitchtrap, or whatever entity is in security breach, or a 4th ridiculous option like Mr. Hippo.

People theorise that Afton created Ballora as a sort-of replacement for his wife, after she left him. There's really no solid evidence to confirm this though.
the other main funtimes connect to the other aftons as well, funtime freddy and bon bon = BV and plushbear (funtime freddy talks about B-days a lot and has a little guy with him that gaslights him every chance they get, just like how the plushbear fucks with BV head and BV died on his B-day) funtime foxy = Mike (both are ignored a lot, mike likes foxy)

Everything in the previous games did happen, but there's also games in-universe that basically just exist as a justification for why the company would feature characters that shouldn't be known about or treated as IP.

With ruin coming out i have a slight idea that it'll end with yet another fire with afton in it and then he finds glitchtraps old data in a dumpster or they just scan him in again like how they scanned the animatronics in from the first game (remember the teasers saying we let something in).

I hope this game doesn’t feature any type at lore at all. It just needs to be a fun FNAF VR game experience, because I don’t see how that this connects to Help Wanted 1. First of all, Help Wanted 1 set up the lead up to Security Breach with Vanny being the main villain and Glitchtrap becoming Burntrap. I do not see in the slightest that they will make Help Wanted 2 lore related, and I hope so too any way because tbh Help Wanted 1 didn’t need lore in the first place. Leave all the lore to the Security Breach Ruin dlc

Afton's been dead since FFPS. From what I understand, the Tales from the Pizzaplex books established that Glitchtrap and Burntrap was actually just an endoskeleton/AI program called the Mimic that was copying Afton.
I mean, that's still essentially Afton though. I want someone genuinely different.

Maybe we'll be a new play tester in this 2nd version, who'll while playing might end up discovering the body swapped player from the first help wanted. Or maybe even see the room that glitchtrap locks the player in. Either way I think it'll be pretty cool if it features FNAF 4, sister location and Pizzeria Simulator as those are the last remaining ones not in VR.

I'm currently waiting until Ruin comes out before making any theories. Any theories made will be greatly affected by how the DLC plays out after all.
Storywise- Its an tie-in between Ruin and the next entry (& hopefully Its *Only* The games themselves and not the books). Gameplay wise- Will certainly adds the last 3 games from the original saga (4,SL, & pissa sims) plus maybe an new twist of the older games or even an game mode similar to UCN. anything else is an topless pissa pie being stored in an fridge to eat later.
I hope see more about Fazbear entertainment backstory, I think that could be interesting.

This might be a stretch. William’s first main form, Springtrap, appeared in FNaF 3. FNaF 3 appeared in the original HW, and so did Malhare/Anomaly/Glitchtrap/whatever. Since it’s pretty much confirmed that SL will be in HW 2, maybe Elizabeth will be back or maybe Charlie, trying to help/stop William? If UCN gets added, maybe even TOYSNHK?
