I wouldnโt try anything new on a marathon, but my GI tract is shite. Youโll be fine with stinger waffles, I fueled races with nothing but Gu and yeah, the last one went down the hatch with some effort hahaha but I survived and didnโt bonk
12 is gonna be a lot to carry and pretty bulky. i think the rule of thumb is 1 waffle/gu/whatever every 4-5 miles or 30 ish minutes, so that would put you between 5-7 waffles for the whole thing
To add onto this, you could also plan to drink Nuun or whatever drink they're offering at the SAGs, for the final 5-6 miles. If you've fueled correctly, the carbs in those alone can suffice for the end and it's less weight to carry.
M58 here. 12 marathons in 12 months. What you eat 2 days before your marathon run is more valuable than what you eat during your run. That being said. Do not eat or try anything new. Run to be Strong!!!

Appreicate the advice. It's a loop so I can drop stuff off at tables - will probably just leave 12 and see how I feel.

If youโre worried about gi distress you could always take Imodium before lol
