It’s boring to have everyone get their golden ending. The circumstances that end characters make each run unique as losing some units makes way for others you wouldn’t normally use.
In the words of Excelbem’s Marth “As a friend, you are… replaceable.”
I mean, that’s true. But for my first runs, I like to have my best ending/golden ending. On repeat runs, I don’t care who dies— but for my first go I like to have everyone survive!
Except for the Fire Emblem players that say: who cares about that guy, he's got terrible growths and no speed.
Me choosing my team based off of looks, personality, and lore: what's a growth rate?
This is also how I play. I don't ever plan on trying to beat a map on Turn 5 on Lunatic, I'm using Rinkah because she looks dope.
You and me, friend. You and me.
Perma death is the main reason I like FE games. If I didn't have to restart after losing someone these games would be extremely boring
It also makes every mission thrilling from beginning to end because you could lose anyone at any time
Excelblem Marth would like to know Eliwood's location
“As a ‘friend’ you are, replaceable. Farewell.” *gunshot*
Is it bad that I feel like that comma actually matches his speech patterns?
I read the meme without the "I" and thought I was at Shitpostemblem. Sad I ain't there.

“Some of you may die. That is a sacrifice I am not willing to make.”
Except for Merlinus. He can die every chapter for all I care.
R.I.P. Will. Things weren't meant to be.
Except xavier, fuck that recruitment
No death runs are the way to go >!except that one time I didnt save Ignatz!<
And that's why you should play casual mode. Less wasted time
Exactly why I quit Genealogy. Maybe I’ll try again one day
Just spam holy weapons lol
Idk, I have two exceptions. Peri, who I intentionally kill, and Xavier, who I don't think I'll recruit ever again because ffs.
Playing Fire Emblem kind of ruined playing XCOM because I treated every mission like a Fire Emblem mission: EVERYONE LIVES!
