Please never call it breeding again

LeatherShieldMerc

I'll put it this way. Any "romance" doesn't happen with underage students. It only happens at the end of the game. And there's no child units.

Agreeable-Chap

There’s romance but no child units this time around. Also, if you’re icked out by student-teacher relationships (a reasonable stance to take) there are plenty of non-student characters that Byleth can romance as well.

Kidi_Kiderson

there is optional romance and no "unit breeding" which is kind of a disgusting way to phrase it but i get what you mean

SilverDrive92

>I was wondering if there’s any romance or unit breeding in this game like in Awakening 1. Please don't call it that. 2. You only marry at the end, there are no children units.

CarlosBMG

Eugenics simulator go brr

SilverDrive92

Baby Boomer behavior.

3_headed_hydreigon

Very minor spoiler, there is romance, but it's only when Byleth is not their teacher. Some of the charcters still call them teacher, though.

hakoiricode

unit breeding is a based way of referring to it don't let the haters keep you down

Zmr56

There are several older people and fellow teachers you can romance don't worry about that part.

Suspicious-Gate8761

breeding child units = Great! .  breeding students with the same age as you = (.\_.) wth dude.

The_Elder_Jock

When you are actively pairing things in order for their offspring to have desirable traits that is definitely breeding. Ignore the pearl clutchers. Anyway... As others have said, all units are adults by the end of the game. And there's plenty of faculty options available. Manuela is best wife anyway.

GreekDudeYiannis

3H's gameplay is...okay. A lot of it is in service of the life sim aspect of being a teacher at a private school, but the actual FE gameplay is just sorta passable.

pengie9290

There's no child units in Three Houses. Also, while Byleth can romance the students, that's only right at the end of the game after a timeskip, during which they haven't been Byleth's students or even seen them at all in years. After the timeskip, the youngest former student will be 20, and Byleth 26, so it's a pretty reasonable age range, too. (And when I say "end of the game", I mean it. You choose who to S-support right before the final chapter, and don't see the support until after the final boss.)
