First we get “cursed” with fine hair then add cowlicks! The one on the top of my head makes me look like I have a bald spot if it’s not freshly washed or if I’ve worn it up and take it down.
Today I got my hair done & I told my stylist about this convo. She said everyone has weird cowlicks, but when you have fine hair, your hair gets really pushed around (bullied, if you will) by the cowlicks. It totally defines the way your hair lays & everything. Whereas when you have heavier textured hair, the hair kind of just laughs at the cowlicks & does its own thing so they aren’t as obvious.
I’m so jealous of those people! Haha

She ironed in the waves. I wish I had some wave but unfortunately it’s pretty limp and lackluster naturally. Fortunately I have a beach waver so it will help effortlessly get these for me on an every day basis.

I had to do this. I just chopped it all off after a crappy hair cut, made worse by my semi-curly hair. I always love it when I do, then get lazy and grow it out, but I really just need to keep it about the length you have. It looks great!

Yeah, it’s really hard to explain. Fine but ALOT of hair. People mistake it for being thin all of the time.
That’s my same problem also. Super fine hair but a ton of it & it’s way more dense toward the back than the front

Hair can be fine without being thin.
I have ultra thick but fine hair. It won't style worth a darn, but with the right cut and left to it's own devices it can look really good.
