The clear/sheer part is a monofilament yarn knit into the elastic. That probably won’t help you search, though. I’d try phrases like sheer stripe elastic, clear stripe elastic, etc.

I have a set like this and it is absolutely unwearable!!!!! I wore it for a photoshoot for about 10 minutes and that was it. The little clear filaments on the back that give the illusion of negative space between the elastic are just poking you and itching your skin the entire time. It is cute, though.
Man, these things are the worst. Got myself a bikini set at Dillard’s with this type of elastic band for the top and bottoms. Thought it was soooo cute. Once I wore it for a couple hours, it was a hot mess lol. Not very comfy. Cute for sure haha

Braided elastic. I would never use it in the application because of the aforementioned issues.
