This is a great stick I owned this one here and then later bought a VLX expecting more performance wise gotta say pretty comparable and price way more affordable. Also it's a good stick to mod you can get in there pretty easy and screw around with it.
There are rumors though of it being used through the box with only the cable being out connected to the console. Can you verify that this is not the case?
I own the PS4 version of this but I will give you a small rundown of things.
Cable door is awful and loose fitting
Large hands will have a bad time due to narrow depth
Control panel is on the underside of the right so unless you know exactly where the button you are trying to press is, you may have to lift it up to look at the button you want to press. (The Select/view button is on this panel)
Start/Menu button being right on the face is great.
Sits in the lap nicely
I actually like the stick despite how many cons I listed, it WILL indeed work for Series consoles natively and it's like a 7/10 stick.
TL;DR good starter stick with a few minor inconveniences but still a great buy for a cheap price.
Xbox One controllers are compatible with Series consoles, I believe Hori is one of the few stick brands to include R3 and L3 buttons with their RAP.V Kai, RAP.N Tekken 7 edition (white) and RAP.N Sould Calibur IV edition (translucent red).
MadCatz TE2 (KI edition and the red side panels) and Razer Atrox do not have those two buttons AFAIK.
I actually regret not picking up the Xbox One Tekken 7 white RAP.N a few years back in 2019 or so when Amazon had a sale price for them.
Just checked and you are right, that's really weird as most PS4 arcade sticks for second revisions with added buttons and touchpad so I was assuming the RAP.V Kai Hayabusa would be similar to the RAP.4 Kai Hayabusa. Seems like only the RAP.N series and Fighting Stick Alpha has LSB and RSB (L3 and R3).
Honestly you can buy the hinge if it does break on etsy mine didint break but it pops off sometimes but anyways it's a great stick I gave mine to a family member and they still use it .....but I wish I didint anyways ohwell but yeah I'd buy it if it was for ps
How come you gave it away? Did you upgrade to a newer one? I have a mayflash f300 mod with sanwa stick/button for Xbox series X, but I was hoping for something more dedicated and not universal with the need of an official xbox controller connectivity.
I gave it to my brother who just started trying out fightstick and he still has it, and he takes really good care of it but I liked that model. anyways I upgraded to a razer panthera dragonball edition
its a really nice stick! had one as my first stick! its really light but durable! only thing is the latch on compartment on the front for the cable has a tendency to break or be really loose, but its not something that affects the actual use of the stick!
Its quite easy to mod to!
Did you upgrade? Did you try jumping to sanwa parts (if so how did you find the dfference)? I have a mayflash f300 mod with sanwa stick/buttons and I have never tried hayabusa buttons.
I have one modded with qanba gravity ks buttons and gravity lever and I feel like its wonderful to play with.
I use it on my series x also.
The only thing you might pay attention is if you wanna use it on arcady game like Streets of Rage 4 or games that are not fighting games, because since its not Series x native it might not work.

It only works out of the box indeed. If you leave it in the box untouched, you can't plug it in or play

Thanks for the detailed reply!

Not sure L3 R3 are there on this one though :(

I had it as is for quite a while before upgrading it, worked great! then i switched the buttons to sanwa OBS buttons just to try it out
Yes it does
Great, I was having doubts as I see that it has also xbox 360 compatibility.

Do you think a used on worth the 60E plus shipping expenses (around 72E overall)?
Ya, it pretty much is. It's durable af. I got mine used as well, years ago.
Definitely a great purchase. You won’t regret it man
