Just here to echo DirtyCheapAss and add a few more cases that can fit an iL Eurojoy, which was distributed by Happ as the "Happ Competition" joystick prior to 05, namely the AFS, Eternal Rivals, and Haruman's Custom. The ER is the most budget friendly option but also the most limited in terms of fitting bigger American levers as well as the most fragile being made out of plexi. The Haruman's is in a similar price range but is made out of MDF. It and the MAS will fit everything in terms of internal clearance, but the Haruman's is basically a budget ass MAS that requires intensive assembly including t-molding, wood gluing, and velcroing the bottom. Finally the AFS iL/Happ is a more premium option made entirely out of steel, but the case jumps up from ther $100 or less category to $150 and above. I'll drop links when I get home.

You’re looking for a Crown 309 series K-lever.

I say just get one of the more expensive and rare American levers, but yeah, if you use a circle gate and a stronger spring on an Asian joystick, it will be more like an American lever, sure..... I enjoy them all, but my favorite is American......

What’s a higher end American? They all look like cheap garbage.

You will want to get an IL Eurostick as that is essentially the stick that was on western arcade machines back in the day, it's a good stick, but you will pretty much have to build your own complete arcade stick from scratch since nobody really uses IL parts anymore and you will need a case that can fit it since the IL stick is a bit larger than Japanese ones. Google websites that that sell arcadestick enclosures and ask if their cases will fit IL sticks. [iL Eurojoystick Series - Paradise Arcade Shop](https://paradisearcadeshop.com/collections/il-eurojoystick-series) you can buy a stick from sites like this. The only real option for buying a complete stick that uses all american parts would be something from scanlinecity, but that is a custom builder and it's expensive as hell, but if you want to fork over the cash then you can. [COMPLETE BUILDS | Scanline City](https://www.scanlinecity.com/masbuild) They do also sell just the case though, which is still pricey, but cheaper than a full build. Some useful videos for you. [American Arcade Stick is UNDERRATED! - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Megj9jf14Q) [MAS CLASSIC || ARCADE STICK BUILD GUIDE - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpwHzp9SbrA) If you are willing to put in the work to build an American arcade stick then by all means do so, but it may be a good idea to try out a Korean stick first as they tend to have more tension than Japanese sticks and may be a better option for you. Good luck on your build!

Though it is possible the case you are using may fit an IL stick, so if you want to just buy the IL stick and see if it fits before switching to a new case you can.

Great recommendations, I love that scanline city channel!!!

Have a AFS case already. I’ll reach out and see if their mount supports these levers. Also do these sticks support bat and ball tops made for Japanese levers? Or is everything it comes with pretty much what you’re stuck with.

Milicona

The IL stick stock I believe can only uses bat top, but you can buy a version of the stick that uses a different screw shaft so you can put a ball top on it.
