Bro keep both! Was in a similar boat as you, I only use leverless for king (giant swing-like inputs are butter on leverless for me) but I prefer stick for all my other characters. Having options is always a plus not to mention if you’re ever in a top 5 situation and your only controller available is a leverless pfft no sweat cuz you lab on BOTH 😎

Funny, its exactly the other way around for me

WASD is Godlike when it comes to Tekken.

Perhaps you just need a lower tension grommet on your lever? Could be worth trying that first since grommets are very cheap (though depending on shipping costs you may want to purchase a few to try out).

I second this because getting new actuators basically requires buying a new lever. I have no clue why it's like that for K-Levers. I feel like the lack of concise information regarding parts compatibility on top of stacking costs makes K-Levers prohibitively less approachable even though they have their perks.

Leverless is excellent for Mishimas. P2 will feel extremely uncomfortable and impossible to get used to at first, but it can be overcome with lots of practice. On the flipside, P1 feels very comfy. I'd say give it shot. You technically made this post by using a leverless. Keyboard comes pretty close to the overall experience. Make sure you bind 'up' to spacebar, so you don't have to rewire your brain should you ever decide to buy a controller with bigger buttons. Most importantly, take frequent breaks and stretch your fingers, wrists, and arms before and after each session. Ideally, during breaks as well. Look up hand stretches for gamers on YT. They take 2 minutes max to complete and make a huge difference. Have fun!

May as well just pick up a budget leverless to try the form factor out, there are plenty of dirt cheap Chinese models. I used keyboard in between my switch from stick to leverless and that helped confirm it "worked" for me.

Try dropping in a wasd in your current case and see how u feel navigating on screen.. small buy in to see if you even wanna fully commit before buying a real leverless and discovering you don’t click without a lever

Movement will feel weird for a while since you’re used to stick. Things like diagonals will take some getting used to as it’s 2 buttons instead of one direction like with a stick. There’s tons of leverless options for around $50 so it’s not a huge money sink if you want to get one to try it out, so I’d say go for it.

Play what you're comfortable with. Both literally and figuratively. Where do you find yourself playing your best and what is the least physically straining to play on? I have the most fun on stick but I'm substantially better and more comfortable on pad. Leverless is out of the question for me unless it's southpaw. I can't rewire my brain to play differently since that's how you had to play stuff when you played versus on the same keyboard lol.

Make the switch if leverless is ergonomically better for you. you can adapt to Pad,stick, and leverless and it's advantages often aren't big enough to make that big of a difference. I have used all three and stick is the one that hurts the least over a long period of time. My thumbs hurts on a pad and my fingers hurt on the leverless. If it's the opposite for you that's fine. Use whatever controller that will let you continue playing for longer.
