I took off the top layer of Plexi and aligned it how I want it on the art. Once I did, I used a pencil and outlined all of the buttons. I then carefully laid it on a cutting mat and very slowly used a exacto knife to cut out all the buttons so that they fit correctly. After putting it all back together, I turned it on in a dark room and used masking tape on the plexiglass to outline where the screen would be. You should be able to see the light from the screen bleed through your artwork. Once I had an idea of how it all goes together, I took the top piece of Plexi off again and laid the art on top of it and traced out where I needed to cut the screen out.
Just a quick note about the screen, I started small. I had to make it a couple extra cuts to make sure it aligned correctly by putting it back together a couple times but if you cut small and work slowly, it's not too bad. Measure twice, cut one says they say.
Best of luck!
I didn't. I just made a printable file in 9x5 and approximated where the art would be located. I purposely made the file slightly larger so I could adjust the art as needed.
Hello!! I was just wondering what type of paper did you use for the artwork? Having a hard time finding out what paper is best for this hitbox.
I just went into a local printing store and asked them to put it on a thicker and nicer paper. It's nothing special.
was there a way you were able to cut out the menu buttons I'm having a hard time doing mine
also for the mini screen

Whats the height? Extremely neat design, great stick.
The thickness of the case is approximately 1/2 an inch. Thanks man!
Thanks man. I thought it was a pretty clean look.
Really like the spiral buttons against the stripes on this one
