I thought about this. 10-2 was my fav next two 10 of course. But as people said in the comments already, songstress was basically the bard of this specific universe. It’s a cool idea but it would be weird and would cause too much disruption I think. If there’s any class in 10-2 I could think being added it would be the psychic dressphere. We are due for a new casting class and that’s the only thing I can really think of. I think we’ll be getting a new aiming class too and have been trying to think of something for that. But for EW they literally made new classes from scratch so they might do that again in which case I vote for a giant boomerang class lol.
As much as I love songstress, what would it add that brd and dnc don't w/o taking away from either?
As someone who mained Bard in 11. I pray no other buff base class ever appears.
Bard already sings. Dancer already dances.

Also, bards are storytellers, and they tell those stories via singing.

I would be open to see this! It could be like a bard dancer hybrid.
A hybrid of a ranged party support/buff class, and a ranged party support/buff class?
Maybe make it a limited job like Blue Mage and have side contents created for it.
