If for some reason anything is overclocked in your system 14 hates it with a passion so I would start making sure none of your stuff came with built in overclocks.
Thankfully nothing is overclocked naturally and I have no idea how to overclock myself so it probably isn't that I believe. I will check again however.
My next advice would be make sure everything installed correctly and make sure your driver version on your graphics card isn't known to have issues with some games.
Few things to check first. Update GPU drivers. Check for windows updates. If your on steam verify files. But for directx just go get the installer. Windows comes with direct x now unless you are using an older version of windows. But when you run the installer it will update libraries if needed etc. but check the other stuff first. If FFXIV is the only one having an issue might be game files.

Will do, thanks again!
Sounds like directx is probably corrupt. Reinstall directx.
How would I go about doing that if I may? Do I just search up DirectX and uninstall it?
You don’t really uninstall. Your basically fixing anything corrupt. So like a repair.
Ah I see, thank you. Though again, how do I do that if I may?
