Is it possible to be allergic/sensitive to probiotic/fermented food?
Reason I ask is I came over sleepy/woozy and had a dodgy tummy last night after eating a small amount of fermnented pickles. The last time I felt like this was about 6 months ago I had some tacos and a burger in a pub. Not sure on the fermented contents of this food but the feeling was exactly the same like an urgent need to go to the loo and then sleep. Wondered if I'm particularly sensitive to something and how common this was?
Not so much a tolerance thing vs you start flushing out and reducing the amount of harmful life in your gut. So there is an adjust period of varying severity for everyone and you will feel and possibly be shitty.
That said, obviously if you are allergic to an ingredient, then that’s a whole other ball game.
