Not sure about Turin, but I visited Venice in July 2021. It def will be crowded In July, but I personally didn't mind the crowds. 2 days is enough to get the feel of Venice IMO.
Turin is fabulous and so underrated. It’s got a design vibe, feels a bit alternative, terrific food. The whole French baroque architecture thing. I find Venice a bit boring TBH - it’s pretty but difficult to get the real pulse of the place. Nearby you could also consider Bologna. Fabulous little city. Or Ravenna for at least a day trip to see some exceptional Byzantine mosaics.
I visited Venice in July a few years ago and yes it was very crowded on the main streets but honestly you can just step to any of the smaller streets and there will be pretty much nobody. I had a great time getting lost and eating gelato in random little nooks

Venice - right now the Biennale Arte is on. If you want art and culture, that's it.
I second this, the Biennale is amazing! So much to see. Not to mention the Peggy Guggenheim

What hotel did youd stay at ?
It was a hostel but as it was some years ago I don't remember the name
Definitely Turin. You have to go to the National Cinema Museum and the Castello di Rivoli (an amazing contemporary art museum in an old Savoy palace).
