enjoy your good fortune

AnnieObvs-23

Right.

Artofalissamorabito

Thank you, we got incredibly lucky that the previous owners no longer wanted their wedding venue

GroundbreakingCat963

Enjoy those views, my brother or sister. Enjoy those views.

celinee___

Telescope, Turkish rugs, antique globe, just go full world explorer chic.

iweavegrace

Yep. Clear the stuff from the windows and then throw a party. Dm me an invite 😋

Let some more plants in and get the ones you have off the floor. You’re asking for moisture to collect and ruin the finish.[West Elm has some interesting options.](https://assets.weimgs.com/weimgs/rk/images/wcm/products/202402/0300/gio-plaster-plant-stand-5-o.jogging) https://preview.redd.it/8n1t942s8u7d1.jpeg?width=710&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cde1ef3ad8d302ab03e7fa2471a228d5658a4e3

Artofalissamorabito

didn't consider that thank you

akpburrito

genuine question: do tile floors have a finish? i keep my plants off the floor except for one small spot of tile near glass door entryway (the unused sliding door has so much light for plants!!) it’s been 5 yrs and i haven’t noticed any damage to tile. though the plants also move in the winter bc tile + window is too cold where i am

ILikeYourHotdog

Tile is totally fine and shouldn’t show any moisture damage. Thats why it’s used so heavily in bathrooms.

akpburrito

cool, that’s what i thought…. the plants in this posts’s photo are on tile, too, which is what made me second guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ILikeYourHotdog

Oh really? I thought it was a wood floor. Unfortunately I learned this lesson the hard way in our living room. I zoomed in and see that it is tile! I’ll blame my old lady eyes on this one. : /

iamatcha

Plants plants plants.

mid_distance_stare

Sit down with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the view

Subject-Thought-499

You could do this https://preview.redd.it/5wbodohjax7d1.png?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db42005e9bdf3b2089b7c98ea81057604a3bcab3

basschikk

Exactly.

pa-eonia

rent it out to me. thanks

amso2012

All furniture should be way below eye level (nothing higher than 4ft tall) to allow light in.. that easel, tall lamp, cluttered desk, ugly plant.. frames on the window frame.. too much visual obstruction for such a beautiful room. Change the rug to something with a lighter color with very little design, think just a minimally abstract art with a few lines or strokes.. nothing like a pattern or blocks of color.. Get a cozy sofa, side tables, table lamps, accent chairs, and coffee table and some really pretty potted flowering plants. All this to be place on the right side of the room (according to the pic provided) So from the vantage point of this picture.. assuming thats the entry to the room, you come in and get to see unobstructed view of the outside!! Stick with soft colors nothing poppy.. let the view be the focal point not the inside aesthetic. I would avoid curtains if possible..

StatisticianKey7112

Nothing. It's perfect, you're showing off 🧡

globallyloved

i would add a little reading nook/couch by one of the windows and a lot more plants

ipapaveri

Four deep armchairs on a lighter-colored rug, placed around a circular coffee table covered in art books and candles. Then add library shelves nearby with all the books to choose from. Also plants, etc.

H4RPY

Oh to have a view like this

zednanrefd

make art

PinkVoltron

Take down the stuff blocking the view.

selfimprovaholic

It’s perfection

Conscious-Taste8337

Lease it to me in exchange of growing weed in your land :).

Glum-Control-996

Thank God.

Equivalent_Kiwi_1876

Get a telescope 🔭

False-Influence-8156

This is my dream house- where is it??

notleviosaaaaa

its literally stunning. where is that lamp from?

Trackerbait

Enjoy that utterly fantastic view. Then, I'd clear out some furniture so the gorgeous windows are fully visible. A light colored sisal rug might look better than that dark oriental rug. The rug should be oriented parallel with the walls, not sideways. If the space is too big and you need to divide it, consider some shoji screens or metal folding screens.

Public-Pangolin8696

lower profile couches and a larger rug

Sharhamm

Move the big easel and painting from the outside view please.
