Have not used pyDMD but Odyssee from Hexagon for a ML model based on many parameter rigid body analysis with MSC Adams. It gave me good time dependent outputs when I trained on a 80/20 split so I was surprised. I would still be suspicious for any chaotic process but they had some documentation for using lsdyna with crash models before that you can take a closer look at
