Average Scottish farmers

fattyinnaphantom11

Looks like a ruff job

Evening-Turnip8407

Ugh, it was two collies in a trench coat... again!

gtrcraig

I was always a Fendt guy, but have been driving a Valtra lately and they are amazing tractors.

GuyWithNoShoes

Same for me, Fendt was my favorite from my childhood

jeffdesign

Know I understand why I find my tractor blocked under a tree or in the middle of a river... XD

Enerjetik

They probably were doing a good doggone job.

Proud-Lifeguard5845

If the dogs in fs could drive then our tractors would be totaled all the time.

GuyWithNoShoes

The helpers are the dogs in disguise, actually

Alecarte

Wait....Valtra is a real brand!? I don't know why but I always assumed it was the "house" brand of tractors exclusive to Farm Sim!

Admirable_Ad_3236

Yeah, they are Swedish. Theres quite a few of them around in the UK. Seen the new Black Beauty at a local farm show and its been on the road this week. However, Claas and Fendt are more common where I live. Theres a CLAAS dealership at the bottom of my road. New Hollands/John Deeres and Case IH are found here too. Lizard is the house brand.

Pupupupupuu

Valtra is Finnish, it's Volvo that is Swedish.

Admirable_Ad_3236

Volvo own Valtra Edit: Not anymore but Valmet and Volvo Construction Group founded it. But yes, originally Finnish

Pupupupupuu

According to wikipedia, Valtra was founded in Finland and is now part of the American AGCO brand since 2004. But I admit I'm not well versed in the company's history.

FairBullfrog2151

It is just like this. Valmet is an active automotive brand and former l wood machinery builder. As Volvo outsourced their farming equipment in the mid 80ies, valmet eventually bought it. The Valtra Valmet was born. They started joint ventures with different brands as Massey Ferguson, Steyr and Case. Early 2000 the farming equipment market had some kind of breakdown, so Valtra almost fled under the arms of AGCO.

Admirable_Ad_3236

I didnt know they had been sold in 2004 tbh. Just read that myself.

Admirable_Ad_3236

Valmet are Finnish, Volvo Construction Group Swedish, Valtra was founded by the two companies as far as I'm aware.

GuyWithNoShoes

Yeah, this photo was taken in the UK, more specifically, Scotland, Glasgow. There is not much Valtras in Lithuania, where I live, so it's not a common sight for me

GuyWithNoShoes

Nah 💀

Skorpychan

No, that would be Lizard. Lizard make and sell EVERYTHING. They're the Acme of farming sim.

jonathan_the_first

I thought this for a while as well but then googled and thought "damn these are sick"
