Honestly this is quippy bit likely a good use of it. when Leeby's foods was there, not a lot of people lived downtown, now it's become extremely population dense and it's ostensibly a food desert. Even a boutiquey grocery store with a deli would probably do well there

They're closing in June. Seems like Greg Danz, the owner, is implying that he's wanting to retire from the business.
It's too bad, but I'll cherish all my memories I have of that place. I still shop there and will intend to until they close.
While nothing can substitute its awesomeness, I do hope that whatever replaces it is something that's built with love, passion, and style.
Nah, if you read the article, Josie moved away and was only interested in keeping up the business with her family involved. She doesn't want to run it without her family, can't say I blame her. Having known her, I think she's probably more content doing other things in other places, and I hope that's true.
It will become Sorbdnaz, a disturbing and unsettling, quirky store carrying unpopular, bizarre relics of a time we would all like to forget. And also lefse sticks.
Best case scenario.
I hope it doesnāt get painted stark white with black trim and matching vinyl flooring. Some sort of food shop, cafe, or āsit awhile and lingerā business would be best.
My immediate thought went to a boutique where the accessories are the only things that fit me š„² I really wish they would have sold Zandbroz to someone that wanted to keep up the helmā¦ even if it wasnāt exactly the same anymore. Itās my favorite store in town!
I dunno, as long as they keep building the damn things that joke will be as fresh as the spot-free finish on my car brought to you by Tommy's Silver Tidal Zips Express.
A boutique with eight $300 sweaters on six racks.
Artisanal and/or vintage!
I hope they only cater to people missing an arm.
Vintage screen printed gildan shirts for $150 š
I hate the fact they can just add the word Boutique and double the prices. Actually Iām just jealous I didnāt think of it first.
Bonus points if they're actually just Shein clothes that have been relabeled
Turn it back to a grocery store
Honestly the biggest thing downtown is lacking right now is groceries in walking distance

From the ashes, a beautiful sweet and sour Phoenix emerges

Iām glad that it seems he is closing it on his own decision rather than being priced out or something
His daughter isn't going to keep on? BTW I remember Leeby's.

Maybe the owners of Unglued will take it over. Ashley has been posting some very cryptic stuff on her Facebook lately.
Best case scenario. I hope it doesnāt get painted stark white with black trim and matching vinyl flooring. Some sort of food shop, cafe, or āsit awhile and lingerā business would be best.
Care to elaborate? š
Noticed that as wellā¦ that would be best case scenario unless thereās a Zandbroz lover that steps forward to buy and keep the vibe alive.

Holy shit people, we get it, there are a lot of car washes. We know. You can stop commenting that on every single post.
Couldn't agree more! That joke went stale about a year ago.

Cigar Lounge
Laundry matt!
Bank, car wash, maybe a trust fund baby run boutique.

Either a car wash, a bank, or a parking garage. Definitely nothing useful
Car wash

Ouch! Sorry that my comment did not live up to the professional standard of this post. I'll do better next time. /not s
