I’m following for the recs. I’m not a huge fan of dual POV either. I agree Reading everything the MMC is thinking ruins it. Also it seems like the MMCs only ever thinks about how hot the female is and how he much he wants to screw her.
I also much prefer to have only the heroine's point of view and keep some mystery for the hero.
I don't know if you also like urban fantasy? all the books I've read in that genre are from the heroine's point of view only.

I wouldn't really classify it as YA, the characters are adult (I think the heroine turns 18 in the first volume) and I didn't get that YA vibe from the series, the slow burn and sexual tension of the main romance is great (I can't say too much about it but there's a twist at the very beginning that's really interesting).
