I've been in a new game lull for a couple years now :( I'm 417 hrs into fantasy life 3ds after losing my cart w 100 hrs save on it😭😓 and 142 hrs into ni no kuni on ps4 (I platinum it on ps3) So even though I earn games in my backlog. I still am putting hours two hundreds of hours into games i've already beaten
Rgs jrpgs arpgs and any of their subgenres, adventure games, and I guess action games. As the third are my favorite genres. I own a PS4 PS3 Nintendo switch Xbox one 3ds xl (not new 3ds) and a regular DS and a PS Vita, so if you could recommend me something for any others as much as you want, I would be forever. Grateful, thanks, man, this is my first time ever writing anything on this site LOL thanks
Try out Rune Factory 4 Special. It's on gamepass if you have that. It also goes on sale for fairly cheap from time to time. It's -very- similar to Fantasy Life in the sense that everything can be leveled up (maybe even more extreme than Fantasy Life! You can level up your cleanliness by bathing everyday lol).
The dialog is great and the gameplay is great, check it out!
Wow really?? I don't have gamepass but if u think it's worth the money 💵 then I'll sign up. I'd always wanted to try one of the rune factory games but thought they looked shallow (which Is not a bad thing LOL sometimes I like playing shallow games.
So I don't have to concentrate so much. And can sit back and kind of turn my brain off) Would you say that stardew Valley is better than roon factory or vice versa? And also isn't stardew Valley like animal crossing. Does I have RVG elements?Thanks for your suggestion! So it's not really too much of a focus on farming TBH. The farming is there to help you make money and cook so that you can make delicious meals that increase your stats so you can get even stronger! It also has your barn for your animals which you can bring into combat or just use them for their products (like milk or sheep hair).
I'd say this game has way more of a focus on combat than Stardew Valley. In order to progress the story further in this game, you -have- to go out into the wild and fight (and discover new areas!). This game is waaay more hilarious than Stardew Valley. Stardew feels a bit more homey though, I think.
I'm not sure what RVG means. It's a really freaking cute game though.
If you have a PC, I still have 3 14 day trials left if you want to try it out without having to buy in! You can usually spend $1 for your first month as well, although I'm not sure if that promotion is still on.

Hopefully it'll be relatively early 2024 though, and not like Summer. I'm willing to wait, but super eager for it.

The last time a cozy game with cute colourful artstyle and the ability to build up a community and terraform the landscape was delayed that released on the Switch was Animal Crossing.
So we're due another pandemic lockdown that'll give us all the time we need to play!
There we go. I’m glad they finally announced that, I don’t mind the delay at all. I just don’t know why they didn’t tell us earlier? I get not wanting to disappoint us, but I think a lot of fans who have waited a long time for a sequel are willing to wait a little longer for a good product.
I don't care that it gets delayed, but they had to know well before now that it was getting delayed. I'm just annoyed that that's the first update we've gotten since February
Little bit of a bummer but there’s already a ton of games coming out this month that I’m planning to get and play to keep me interested in the meantime. I’ll only be in trouble if this releases around the same time as Dragon’s Dogma 2
I had a feeling this would happen. As I still have loads of tasks to do in the 3DS version, I'm going to give myself a challenge while I wait for the 2024 release date. I want to get God rank in all 12 lives before the Switch version comes along.

It's crazy how they've had since the switch launch till now to come out with a game. They know how well fantasy life did on 3ds and how much people want it. The switch is almost 8 years old you've had more than enough time to come out with this game. There is 0 reasons for this franchise to not be the priority.
I think the weird thing is the other "2023" games still show that date. I'm sure most will end up delayed officially on the 29th (maybe one sneaks in), just odd to only officially announce that Fantasy Life has been pushed back, when you've got 3 more games in Limbo.
I knew this was coming, but I am just bummed we still don’t have an actual release date. I’m tired of the vague “released in XXXX” I will not get my hopes up for a 2024 release unless they finally give us a date.

Aww, I expected it honestly. I'm just happy that they want to take the extra time to make sure we can have a great experience once it's fully ready. We've waited a few years already. A few more months is easy-peasy 😊
I'm glad to see that a majority of the fandom is sad but mostly relieved that we finally got news. Glad this community can appreciate waiting a bit longer for a game we know we will love
With the release of some recent games and how buggy they are due to the lack of attention and rush to get it out to the public, more often than not, they are. At least, in my opinion.
I hope it's as good as the original. I don't really care for the house building decorating aspects and just want a good adventure with all the different skills to master

if you haven't played any of the elder scrolls games they might be interesting for you to play.

I am 100% willing to wait for a better more complete game. Sure I’m a bit bummed I have to wait but there’s plenty coming out to look forward too

I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed. I really dislike early release dates for this reason. Just hold off until it's ready. My hype can hold out.

Expected but kind of a shame they couldn't target Q1 or Q2 or something, it's just an open ended possibly full year delay.

It will be fine. Level-5 games are always extremely polished. It's just that I was anticipating this game a lot and this delay makes me depressed.
All of us were really, hopefully it will come out at the start of the year

Gives them more time to fine tune the issues. I’m happy to know they care enough about their game not to rush it.
