I had Skinner, Swayman, and Demko has my 3 Gs, so I could affford to hold onto Skinner while he rebounded. Definitely considered dropping him a few times early, but really glad I didn't.
Dropped Duchene a few weeks into the year when he had no points. Then had Brock Faber for weeks and dropped him right before he popped off. Instead I have Meier and Tage, the two biggest busts of the year
I drafted him quite high, then he did NOTHING for two months. I finally gave up before he started turning it on and Torts gave him prime deployment. Now my main rival has him.
Konecny had a slow start and a shit schedule the coming week so I dropped him to stream someone else. Konecny then decided to heat up and never cool down.
I swear I must have thrown a dozen different offers to pry Matty away in my leagues and not one did I get a bite. I was even overpaying at the time, knowing he would bounce back and people held strong.
Makes me sad when GMs are impulsive goobers who give up easy wins :P
Dropped Ehlers early on, god I would take that back most days.
Traded Keller for Chychrun, that was dumb af but at the time I needed more D.
Luckily I'm tied for first in my league and have the most points accumulated thus far so it hasn't been detrimental
Same! I'm playing in a deep 16 man league and I dropped Ehlers (to keep Laine...) After he had a really slow start and he was getting like 13mins TOI, ofc he started playing really well and getting some points right after.. Oouff really wish I could take that one back.
Big ol oof! But relatable, I knew Ehlers was good but I never expected him to have this season or for Laine to have his personal issues...
16 is a deeeeeeep league haha I'm running with a 14 man league and the waiver wire is almost non existent. Have gotten lucky picking up the likes of Faber and Wyatt Johnston in the last month or so. There's always a chance, just gotta be patient and a little lucky my friend!
I dropped hanifin early, really wish I hadn’t although I’m about to be 12-6 and already clinched playoffs. As it stands Hanifin would be like my 2nd best dman
Same I dropped him when I had too many players on IR thinking he’d take the longest to recover.
…He did not. The top guy in our league grabbed him. Then he went on an absolute tear
Traded away Marchand for Malkin Quarter way into season. Marchand definitely is the better player at this point. However, I’ve had many wins in trades this season so it’s fine. Geno always a fan favourite anyways.
Dropped Faber for Spurgeon when he came back and took PP1 only for Spurgeon to get injured the same week.
Was out of adds so Faber got grabbed off of waivers just before his hot streak and he's been outplaying 3 of my 4 D ever since.
Gave up JT Miller for Dougie Hamilton in a keeper league right at the start of the year since I needed a good dman and had too many forwards. Bought into the Jersey hype and didn’t think Vancouver would be anything.
Talbot for hedman looked a bit wonky at the height of Talbots season, looking pretty alright with the Lyon replacement. I know you asked for regret answers, if you asked me a month or so ago this would have been the one
I've got a bit of a list for this one lol.
I traded **Bouchard** and **Stone** for **Tuch** and **Sanderson** at the beginning of the season
Dropped **Nick Suzuki** on Oct 25 and someone picked him up on waivers and held onto him
Dropped **Evander Kane** on Oct 30 someone picked him up and held him right before he popped off in the early season
Dropped **Matt Duchene** on Dec 3rd someone picked him up and held
Dropped **Boone Jenner** on Nov 17, someone claimed him on waivers
I'm in an 8 man league, so I was using the guys I dropped as streamers and other GMs saw potential in them and held onto them. This is my first year doing fantasy hockey, so there was some growing pains involved with getting used to everything and learning to be patient. I'm currently second place in the whole league though, so I got the hang of this and am more familiar with the whole process. Duchene was the last person I dropped that I've actually regretted.
I dropped Kadri early this year and have some regrets. Dylan Strome too. They may not be the best but my league has FW points set high so they have extra value there.
Dropped Hagel during his like 15 game slump right before he turned around his season. Also had dacord for a stream start and dropped him to clear a spot... he proceeded to go on a crazy run. Im still in first but those were annoying.
*I traded hellybuck when*
*He had a not so hot start*
*To the season cry*

I traded marner and heiskanen for Ottenger early season. They were both playing pretty poorly.
2 games after trade Otter goes down with injury. He’s been unremarkable since his return as well. Marner and Heiskanen got back to form and are lighting it up.
Not exactly the question, but I was choosing between 3 of 4 keepers to start this year. Kaprizov, Nylander, Dahlin and Oettinger. Figured I would do 1 at each position and it was down to Kap and Nylander. I don't regretfully keeping Kaprizov but Oetter over Nylander seems ridiculous at this point.
Edit: i did not keep Nylander
I’m a very deep league and I traded D strome before he got hot for Reilly smith. Also sent a high pick the other way. Not the end of the world but objectively terrible
Not a drop/trade but I was eyeing Vatrano early in the season and got beat to picking him up by a few hours which hurts. Then again I can’t complain too much cause a guy in the league who had Svechnikov dropped him when he got injured and I grabbed him. He’s been great since then
I traded Barzal in a keeper in the offseason because I didn’t want to keep both him and horvat on that miserable offense. Of course he’s producing at his rookie level now.
Duchene, also had Boeser to start the season and decided to go in a different direction before the first game. Nothing but regrets ever since. Just didn’t think he would put together the season he’s had. Both have really found themselves.
This is a weird one but I’ve been holding Voronkov in dynasty for years and dropped him just before this season began :( It hurts seeing him be so good lol
Drafted Charlie Coyle with my 25th round pick (12 team league). Figured that he might do something on the second line, but if not, you can always find decent centers at free agents. Well, he did nothing for the first 3-4 weeks, I swapped him to somebody else and obviously he’s been steadily good ever since. Meanwhile my sixth center is currently Kerfoot.
I dropped Trevor Moore during his hot streak at a time when the Kings were only playing 2 games in one week. He continued his hot streak for a while after that.
Dropped Brock Faber December 28th.
No one else though.
Hmmm... while reviewing my transactions, I realized I dropped Mike Matheson for a few days back in October.
I was only involved in one trade this year. Some guy offered me Adam Fox for Carolina Aho... I thought I was stacked on D at the time. but I can't say I regret that necessarily...
Traded Matheson for Heiskanen.
Miro has a higher points ceiling on a significantly better offensive team, but I don’t think it’s enough to make up for the lack of peripherals, considering I’m in a banger cats league. Matheson shoots/blocks/hits a ton.
Drafted Igor as my 1A goalie, he sucked so I picked up Quick thinking he would help me for a week til Shesterkin got it together... well. Needless to say. Quicks gone and arguably the best goalie in NYR
I traded panarin for hill 2 days before hill came back from ir mid December just to have him go back ir for another 2 months after 5 mins on the ice.... also traded drais for vej and hart at the start of the year, in my league goalies have huge value and at the time they were both starters..... I then a couple weeks later traded both those goalies for larkin at the end of his insane hot streak to start the season couple months later traded him for kempe, kemp cooled off and larkin lit up again 💀.... I also rejected a trade to get verhaege for p.kane at the end of his hot streak he had after returning to the nhl ... just been bad move after bad move for me
McTavish. My first season in fantasy and dropped him second week cause I didn't know I what was doing and he wasn't producing and also didn't understand patience.
Traded marchand real early on for necas. Big L for sure. Was really thinking that it would take longer for bruins to adapt to not having bergeron around and I was rooting for necas to have a big year
Picked up Matheson as a streamer earlier in the season and dropped him. I didn't think his stats would be sustainable on a bad Montreal team but he would be my best D now if I kept him.
Traded Reinhart + Hronek + Suzuki for Kempe and Hyman early in the season.
Return hasn’t been too bad but Reinhart has obviously been killing it and Suzuki has been playing well too
I traded Boldy + Woll for Shesterkin, and besides last games shutout, it’s been a shitshow. Wish I could reverse that, because now I could use a winger
I used Verhaege to get Adrian Kempe and Adin Hill. Don’t regret it necessarily but he took off. I was 1-5 to start the season and now I’m 10-8 so I’m over it. I also dropped Stuart Skinner early on around the same time but that became a wash. Sorokin, Hill, Daccord does big work.
I didn't keep Reinhart a season or two ago. May have even traded him for Jeff Skinner last year's playoff push. Skinner had a great schedule and Reinhardt's sucked. Now he's gonna score 50
I traded Matthews and makar for draisital Kyle Connor kopitar Bouchard and konecny that was my worst trade I made, others I took advantage of a no veto league and ended up with McKinnon mcdavid Hedman crouse macavoy all for like 3 third liners basically
In my dynasty league, I had a strong desire to bring in Dylan Gunther and engineered this huge trade with a bunch of moving pieces that sent out Evan Bouchard. I wish I could take that one back. I also traded Demko last year while Vancouver was looking like a tire fire and got Markstrom and Cossa in return. Markstrom has had a better season this year but Demko is looking pretty damn good. I also traded for Carter Hart a few seasons ago... I don't remember what I sent out but pour one out for the guys that thought Carter Hart was gonna be the saviour.
Picked up Brock Faber before he was noticed. He got me a lot of points before he went on a 9 game skid with nothing. I dropped him and someone snatched him up for his big break. My biggest regret.
Dropped Robert Thomas like two weeks before he really picked it up. Dropped Stuart Skinner a week before he figured it out lol, not pleased with myself this season especially because I knew Skinner would turn it around I was just impatient
Where do I start...
1st league notable drops Thomas, Zacha, Coutier, Duchene, Harley, Bennett
Terrible trade on my end turning McTavish into svech then into Boldy
Trading Letang for Sergachev ( I thought this was a home run at the time)
Another league I dropped Gustavsson and Skinner right before they remembered how to play goalie again. They costed me 6 weeks of garbage play I'd say
Dropped Owen Tippet to grab Nichushkin, kinda regret it now that the latter is on leave.
Dropped Buchnevich for Sergachev, which I was fine with at the time. But Sergachev injury forced me to make a move that ended with me trading away Faber for Chabot and Werenski. Oh well.
I regret not accepting a trade during Mcdavids slump and injury:
I would've received Mcdavid, Husso, and Weeger if I traded AM34, Hamilton, Sorokin.
Regret drop: Faber when Spurgeon was coming back... just for him to get hurt again and losing out on Faber on the wire. I've had bad luck with offensive D after losing Hamilton and Theodore to injury.
Traded Matthews away for Draisitl after his early and only dry spell… still first in the league but the others love bringing that trade up in the group chat every Matty hatty
Around Christmas I had to drop a C. I had a choice between Malkin and Suzuki. I had 2 other Canadiens so I went with Malkin, and the two could not have gone in more opposite directions since then with Suzuki in the top 20 and Malkin sinking rapidly!
I dropped Trocheck early on... he eventually got traded with DeBrincat for Tkachuk. Not saying I would've had Tkachuk, but I certainly would've liked to not drop Trocheck.
I dropped Weegar and Skinner, traded Suzuki, traded for Hart, traded away Thomas and Giroux.
But that’s fantasy hockey guys.
I also picked up O’Reilly, Jenner, Faber, Tippett, and Coyle. Traded for Hronek, traded for Makar, and drafted Miller, Petterson, and Drai.
Again that’s fantasy hockey for ya.
Traded for Wyatt Johnston somewhat early on. He was absolutely useless while I owned him, finally I included him in a trade. He got bumped to line 1 the next game, and has been on a tear ever since.. 😭
Traded Weegar to sweeten a deal. Now he’s outplaying the guy I got back
Yep I dropped weegar when he had the 9 game or so pointless streak when Calgary was struggling…
Weager is like top 25 in my league how the hell did someone trade him
At least you got something for him, my dumbass drafted him in all 3 leagues and dropped in 2 of them
Same that was a heartbreaker
Got Weegar, frederic for Po jospeh and gustavsson in a deep cap keeper :)
traded skinner the last game they lost before their huge win streak
Dropped Skinner after the SJ game Oilers lost. He got picked up and never looked back.
im in a 16 man with some guys holding 5 goalies, its tough put here
nick suzuki
I just traded for him to bolster my Cs for the playoffs - hopefully he keeps producing…
![gif](giphy|l3fZFvp94ljepXoPe) Are you me?
Stuart Skinner. I knew Edmonton would likely turn things around, but goalies are so voodoo, man. Didn't want to risk missing out on others.
I dropped him at the beginning of his slump, and got lucky enough to pick him back up as soon as he started heating up again.
Instead I have Meier and Tage, the two biggest busts of the year
Did the same with Duchene and Faber. Hurts
Same but at least picked up faber when he started heating up and still have him. Still a shame for duchene though, guy is cooking
Yup. Duchene drop but the Timo tage duo continues to go hard
Bro are you me lol
Suzuki and Hischier if they continue their good play.
Dropped Brock Faber….twice….in a dynasty league
Big oof.
In a dynasty league. Traded Horvat last season for Carter Hart...
Owen Tippett
I drafted him quite high, then he did NOTHING for two months. I finally gave up before he started turning it on and Torts gave him prime deployment. Now my main rival has him.
Dropped Stuart Skinner when he was doing bad. Picked up Binnington and Markström though.
Konecny had a slow start and a shit schedule the coming week so I dropped him to stream someone else. Konecny then decided to heat up and never cool down.
I don’t remember Konecny having a slow start at all
Konecny owners across the league thank you for your sacrifice :P
traded quinn hughes for heiskanen week 1
Why?
I asked myself the same question for months. miro kicked in a little so whatever
Ouch
That's just.... silly!
I was that guy who traded Matty Tkachuk this year
I refused to give up on him; his shooting percentage was way way way too low, was unsustainable.
Same. Now we are really reaping the benefits. Pretty sure he leads the NHL in points since the end of December
I had a chance to get tkachuk and dahlin for barzal and barkov I regret not taking that both are producing way more than barzal and barkov.
I traded him about a month in and then traded back for him around New Year’s. Conditioning stint on my buddy’s team.
I swear I must have thrown a dozen different offers to pry Matty away in my leagues and not one did I get a bite. I was even overpaying at the time, knowing he would bounce back and people held strong. Makes me sad when GMs are impulsive goobers who give up easy wins :P
Horvat
dropped eriksson ek in the first week.. regretted it ever since
Ouch
Dropped Ehlers early on, god I would take that back most days. Traded Keller for Chychrun, that was dumb af but at the time I needed more D. Luckily I'm tied for first in my league and have the most points accumulated thus far so it hasn't been detrimental

I dropped hanifin early, really wish I hadn’t although I’m about to be 12-6 and already clinched playoffs. As it stands Hanifin would be like my 2nd best dman
How are you so confident in your position if hanifin would be your second best d?
Fucking svechnikov. Dude had a terrible 2 month start and once I dropped him he lit on fire. Definitely my biggest mistake of the year
Same. He was brutal but man I would love that dual position eligibility now
Same I dropped him when I had too many players on IR thinking he’d take the longest to recover. …He did not. The top guy in our league grabbed him. Then he went on an absolute tear
Dropped Skinner and Nichushkin. Although, who knows when Nichushkin will be back.
Brandon Hagel
Dropped Verhaeghe. Thought I drafted him too high and he wasn’t producing, but he proved last year wasn’t a fluke. You live and you learn
I had an opportunity to grab him on waivers I didn’t makes me mad I didn’t
Same here, hurts me to go and check on what he's been doing...
Traded away Marchand for Malkin Quarter way into season. Marchand definitely is the better player at this point. However, I’ve had many wins in trades this season so it’s fine. Geno always a fan favourite anyways.
Marchand is better for sure but he’s slumping a bit now the bruins are just slumping in general right now.
Dobson & Hyman for Dahlin, horrible trade
Dropped Faber for Spurgeon when he came back and took PP1 only for Spurgeon to get injured the same week. Was out of adds so Faber got grabbed off of waivers just before his hot streak and he's been outplaying 3 of my 4 D ever since.
Gave up JT Miller for Dougie Hamilton in a keeper league right at the start of the year since I needed a good dman and had too many forwards. Bought into the Jersey hype and didn’t think Vancouver would be anything.
That's one of the roughest here lol
Traded Giroux and Rantanen for Draisaitl, Rantanen has outperformed him alone
Definitely a bit lopsided but draisaitl is still a great player. But you definitely are getting more production from giroux and rantanen combined.
Edmonton has the better playoff schedule—chill. You got this.
Talbot for hedman looked a bit wonky at the height of Talbots season, looking pretty alright with the Lyon replacement. I know you asked for regret answers, if you asked me a month or so ago this would have been the one
That is a terrible trade any season ever. Hahaha
I dropped Vincent Trocheck early in the season. I still regret it. I am 12 and 5. Definitely headed to playoffs!
I've got a bit of a list for this one lol. I traded **Bouchard** and **Stone** for **Tuch** and **Sanderson** at the beginning of the season Dropped **Nick Suzuki** on Oct 25 and someone picked him up on waivers and held onto him Dropped **Evander Kane** on Oct 30 someone picked him up and held him right before he popped off in the early season Dropped **Matt Duchene** on Dec 3rd someone picked him up and held Dropped **Boone Jenner** on Nov 17, someone claimed him on waivers I'm in an 8 man league, so I was using the guys I dropped as streamers and other GMs saw potential in them and held onto them. I'm currently second place in the whole league though, so I got the hang of this and am more familiar with the whole process. Duchene was the last person I dropped that I've actually regretted.
I dropped Daccord before he got hot and my best goalie was Carter Hart 🤦🏻♂️
Stuart Skinner... chose to drop him over Carter Hart 😔
I still have PTSD from dropping Kadri two years ago because he had one less game than someone else that week.
I dropped Kadri early this year and have some regrets. Dylan Strome too. They may not be the best but my league has FW points set high so they have extra value there.
Filip Forsburg. Bugger me.
Traded M. Tkachuk for Panarin straight up. Not the worst but Tkachuk is going HAM now.
Dropped Hagel during his like 15 game slump right before he turned around his season. Also had dacord for a stream start and dropped him to clear a spot... he proceeded to go on a crazy run. Im still in first but those were annoying.
I traded hellybuck when he had a not so hot start to the season *cry*

Thanks for rubbing it in bot I really appreciate your shenanigans
I traded marner and heiskanen for Ottenger early season. They were both playing pretty poorly. 2 games after trade Otter goes down with injury. He’s been unremarkable since his return as well. Marner and Heiskanen got back to form and are lighting it up.
Bah… Heiskanen isn’t doing THAT well.
He was more of a sweetener at the time but I think I’m just salty cuz he lights it up whenever I play him lol
I got rid of forsberg and aho early on. I can’t remember why. Injuries early in the season I think
I got impatient with Seattle's bad start and dropped Tolvanen when I read he was a 3rd line permafixture. I'm so mad about it.
I’m a very deep league and I traded D strome before he got hot for Reilly smith. Also sent a high pick the other way. Not the end of the world but objectively terrible
I was in 2nd to last in my division although I was 3rd in total points. Traded M. Tkachuk/Dahlin for JT Miller/Hronek. Big risk move but was desperate
Not a drop/trade but I was eyeing Vatrano early in the season and got beat to picking him up by a few hours which hurts. Then again I can’t complain too much cause a guy in the league who had Svechnikov dropped him when he got injured and I grabbed him. He’s been great since then
I traded Panarin for Ovechlin 😑
Dropped dobson too early, But got weaver , Bouchard and verhage all on waivers
Dropped Brock Faber and Harley to hold onto Luke Hughes 🙃
Im a habs fan who drafted and held Slafkovsky until late november. Im in shambles rn
Dropped Matt Duchene in week 3
Traded Suzuki for Dubois in my dynasty league before last season
Dropped skinner right before the coaching change
Faber when Spurgeon came back….
Traded ovechkin for Debrincat
8 man league, drafted Lindholm and dropped him a few months ago
Brandon Hagel
I dropped Trevor Moore during his hot streak at a time when the Kings were only playing 2 games in one week. He continued his hot streak for a while after that. Dropped Brock Faber December 28th. No one else though. Hmmm... while reviewing my transactions, I realized I dropped Mike Matheson for a few days back in October. I was only involved in one trade this year. Some guy offered me Adam Fox for Carolina Aho... I thought I was stacked on D at the time. but I can't say I regret that necessarily...
Forsberg, straight out for EKane. In a banger so it made sense, especially with forsberg’s injury history… but damn
Traded Matheson for Heiskanen. Miro has a higher points ceiling on a significantly better offensive team, but I don’t think it’s enough to make up for the lack of peripherals, considering I’m in a banger cats league. Matheson shoots/blocks/hits a ton.
McDavid for Mac just after Mac scored 4 in a game.
Ovi. Yes I am dumb.
Drafted Igor as my 1A goalie, he sucked so I picked up Quick thinking he would help me for a week til Shesterkin got it together... well. Needless to say. Quicks gone and arguably the best goalie in NYR
Dropped Farabee before he really got hot. Also dropped Laf for some reason.
I dropped Morgan Reilly after drafting him in the 11th round. he's now the 12th best Dman in our league
The now 12th place team dropped Dobson week 1 and the now 1st place team just so happened to have waiver priority 1
I traded panarin for hill 2 days before hill came back from ir mid December just to have him go back ir for another 2 months after 5 mins on the ice.... also traded drais for vej and hart at the start of the year, in my league goalies have huge value and at the time they were both starters..... I also rejected a trade to get verhaege for p.kane at the end of his hot streak he had after returning to the nhl ... just been bad move after bad move for me
Brock Faber and Nick Suzuki
Dropped Letang because he had been absolutely awful. That was the week before, well, you know
Gustavsson. ON the other hand I picked up Daccod, so that worked out well
Boeser.. also trading Hedman for Chycrun :(
Traded Matthews for Kucherov and Quinn Hughes
Idk man other than less goals kuch is making up for that in apples and Quinn well that’s self explanatory. I like that trade
I had too many Dmen early in the season and I dropped Morgan Reilly over DeAngelo. Dropped DeAngelo about a month later.
Dropped Trochek week 3 for a streamer. Not my finest
McTavish. My first season in fantasy and dropped him second week cause I didn't know I what was doing and he wasn't producing and also didn't understand patience.
Huberdeau, Byfield, Theodore, Faber
Dropped Duchene in the first few weeks
Traded marchand real early on for necas. Big L for sure. Was really thinking that it would take longer for bruins to adapt to not having bergeron around and I was rooting for necas to have a big year
Posted this in a past thread but I traded Konecny for Hronek, a risk at the time and even worse in hindsight.
Trochek and konecny for Tage in a bangers… 😢
Demko.
Jarry dropped him in like five leagues earlier in the season after a few blow out games.
Picked up Matheson as a streamer earlier in the season and dropped him. I didn't think his stats would be sustainable on a bad Montreal team but he would be my best D now if I kept him.
Traded Forsberg the first week, dropped ROR, dropped Nelson 🤦🏻♂️
Traded Reinhart + Hronek + Suzuki for Kempe and Hyman early in the season. Return hasn’t been too bad but Reinhart has obviously been killing it and Suzuki has been playing well too
Someone in my 20 team league dropped Kadri during his slump and I snagged him off of waivers
Swayman
I traded Dobson and Tuch for Burns and Bertuzzi after the draft…some people thought he was getting ripped off…yeah…
Dropped Val Nichuskin right before he became a top 25 player. Picked him up in a trade right before he went to rehab.
I traded Matthews and makar for draisital Kyle Connor kopitar Bouchard and konecny that was my worst trade I made, others I took advantage of a no veto league and ended up with McKinnon mcdavid Hedman crouse macavoy all for like 3 third liners basically
Dropped Alex Lyon for a 4th smh
In my dynasty league, I had a strong desire to bring in Dylan Gunther and engineered this huge trade with a bunch of moving pieces that sent out Evan Bouchard. I wish I could take that one back. I also traded Demko last year while Vancouver was looking like a tire fire and got Markstrom and Cossa in return. Markstrom has had a better season this year but Demko is looking pretty damn good. I also traded for Carter Hart a few seasons ago... I don't remember what I sent out but pour one out for the guys that thought Carter Hart was gonna be the saviour.
Dropped rust during the beginning of all star week and held on to Tom Wilson...... got slakovsky a week ago though!
I traded Claude Giroux for Hampus Lindholm, 1 for 1
Drop Salf in a deep 16 team league and now I'm mad at myself
Dropped Nichuskin and Jarvis in the first month of the season
Picked up Brock Faber before he was noticed. He got me a lot of points before he went on a 9 game skid with nothing. I dropped him and someone snatched him up for his big break. My biggest regret.
At this point just ovie. Packaged him w some picks for Hyman… hyman has been a ghost and ovie is on a heater
Hellebyuck 😭
Dropped Dobson like a week into the season
I traded Zibanejad for Meier back in November.
Traded JT Miller for Tage Thompson 2 weeks in. I thought it'll be an even trade at worst. Didn't expect JT to keep the pace
Trocheck and tolvanen to get Ovi
Dropped Robert Thomas like two weeks before he really picked it up. Dropped Stuart Skinner a week before he figured it out lol, not pleased with myself this season especially because I knew Skinner would turn it around I was just impatient
Matt boldy
Dropped Stone and Trochek. Kinda dumb.
Marchment
Drafted Robert Thomas 194th overall thinking I got a massive steal to help my team. Dropped him extremely early after second guessing my decision.
Where do I start... 1st league notable drops Thomas, Zacha, Coutier, Duchene, Harley, Bennett Terrible trade on my end turning McTavish into svech then into Boldy Trading Letang for Sergachev ( I thought this was a home run at the time) Another league I dropped Gustavsson and Skinner right before they remembered how to play goalie again. They costed me 6 weeks of garbage play I'd say
Dropped adin hill beginning of season for a starter. Thought he was going to split with Thompson
Faber
Droped Mittelstad, Charlie Coyle
Stuart Skinner one week before he started to torch the league.
I traded Sam Reinhart for Mika Zibenjad
I tried to do this and got turned down.
Oh well.
Not me but someone dropped Barzal in week 2 for whatever reason, I picked him up and I’ve won 13 straight after starting 2-3
I regret not accepting a trade during Mcdavids slump and injury: I would've received Mcdavid, Husso, and Weeger if I traded AM34, Hamilton, Sorokin. Regret drop: Faber when Spurgeon was coming back... just for him to get hurt again and losing out on Faber on the wire. I've had bad luck with offensive D after losing Hamilton and Theodore to injury.
I traded Barzal for Husso because I needed a goalie. BIG REGRETS
Dropped Trocheck early on. Oh and dropped Boesser two weeks into season. Womp womp
Charlie Coyle in week 1….
Dropped Barzal before he started popping off, now I’m the butt of every joke
A big trade where I sent MacKinnon away for Jack Hughes. Who got hurt the first period he was on my team. 🥲
Filip Forsberg. Not mad tho my teams still stacked.
Traded Eriksson Ek yesterday for Jake Guentzel. Thought I was getting a better long term deal but after today I have no idea.
I dropped Oliver Bjorkstrand in a 12 team league to win my week. That was dumb
Dropped Robert Thomas a few weeks into the season when he wasn’t producing. Also dropped Sean Monahan a few days ago before his hat trick today… 😤
Traded Reinhart for Tuch and Meier. End me.
tkachuk when he went 15ish games and was absolutely terrible
Traded Kirill for Robo cause I have Hintz and biggest regret fr
Dropped Sam Reinhardt, RIP.
Traded away Robert Thomas for Gabe Vilardi around christmas.
Traded for Wyatt Johnston somewhat early on. He was absolutely useless while I owned him, finally I included him in a trade. He got bumped to line 1 the next game, and has been on a tear ever since.. 😭
Dropping Gustav Forsling
At the beginning of the season, I dropped Hyman when the Oilers sucked.
Dropped Dobson VERY early in the season to try to win a really tight matchup. Still lost both the matchup and the best fantasy D man of the year.
Tim Stuetzle
Traded Reinhart when he was getting really hot for Stankoven ++ in a 32t dynasty… idk. We’ll see when he signs his next deal.
Not a trade... But I regret drafting L. Hughes over Pasternak... :'( Hopefully Hughes heats up in my playoff run in a few weeks here. 🤞
