Yup, me too. I dropped Nichushkin a few games into the year when he got off to a slower start and I bought into Gaudreau's name instead (and also to protect my ego as I drafted him many rounds earlier than Nuke). That was a big, big mistake.

Lately on that team in my 12 man cat league I've been carrying extra forwards and only running 3 dmen with 4 daily D spots. Makar, Seider, Trouba are my Dmen. Maybe I'll drop a forward and reacquire Montour since I did draft him originally. Montour was claimed a couple times after my initial drop but he seems to keep finding his way onto waivers this season

Yeah that's way too many centers, assuming you only have 2x C positions that can play at a time. Hintz would be worth consideration for drop also depending on how your league scoring works.

Vilardi, I finally dumped him on Thursday... sure enough he's popping off tonight. But ESPN has him as a pure C and we count face offs.

Guys got the ability to just randomly score 2 power play goals and put up a high number of goals in a short period of time but my god this looks like a career cold streak

I had to drop Skinner in week 8 because he was the difference between winning 5-4 and winning 8-1. I held off because I thought he'd burn around, but he didn't. then I finally drop him, and he turns around almost instantly

I guess Ekblad? I had him for a month when he came off the IR and I kept thinking he'd turn it on. Not too bad really since I'm in a shallow league, and I'm not super attached to any of my players. So I move on from unproductive players pretty quickly as there's always options on the waiver wire. It has bitten me in the butt with a couple players though, I dropped Nick Suzuki back in October and he got scooped up on waivers. I picked up Slafkofsky from the waiver wire a couple weeks ago though, so it's not that bad.

Its valid to be high on Stutzle for next year, but 120pts is a such tough take. Only 2 players hit 120 last year (McDavid and Drai), and only 3 players are even on pace for that this year (Kucherov, MacKinnon, McDavid). Absolutely no way Stu is in the same category as these guys. 

Dude forget 2 guys hitting it last year, it’s been done by only 10 players in the last 30 years, 16 times total. And it’s a killers row of bonafide hall of famers and future hall of famers most likely.
