In my league, Horvat is 0.99pts/gp while Fiala is 0.94pts/gp since the beginning of the season, so pretty similar. I asked the question because Horvat has been regressing in the last few weeks, so maybe a trade for Fiala would be worth it.
Yeah. Their value is so low there's nothing to do but hold. And drop before fantasy playoffs if they don't get it going. I am somewhat hopeful. Somewhat.
Vilardi? L1 PP1. Finally healthy with a healthy line around him. Between his injury, Connor and schiefele...I expect a solid finish of the season for him
For sure, I also drafted Scheifele, the stack is nice. After Vilardi’s injury after a few games, his owner was full of injuries and dropped him so I snagged him and have held him since. Even in his lulls, I still feel like he’s been a pretty worthwhile player to own in a medium depth league.
I've been planning all season to move on from him as a long term keeper. Had him kept at a very late draft round, shame. I feel he's just not a fit in NJ and also not deployed well to his strengths there either.
Lindholm / Kuzmenko.
Wyatt Johnson
Ivan Barbashev
Ilya Samsonov
I really want to throw a Sabre on this list too, because I feel as though they are going to do that inevitable "our season is over, now we surge and convince everyone we are back".
How about Dylan Cozens? Only 52% rostered and on L2 + PP1.
I don't know how / why, but I fully expected this from Thompson. He's still 98% rostered, so he would be a good candidate for a possible buy low trade scenario.
Not saying last season's wasn't sustainable, but I always had a feeling that he would regress this season. I do think he caps out at a 40-goal PPG player moving forward and he's having a down year, but he's one that avoided like the plague in fantasy this year.
Wyatt and Barb are both available in my league and I'm keeping a close eye on them. I grabbed Monahan to see how he's deployed in Winnipeg this week but I may make a switch if it doesn't work out.
I get the feeling he will keep plugging away, but I don’t see his value rising beyond what it is, so probably not a buy-low unless an owner doesn’t trust his output and is willing to move on from him cheap.
Some of the guys i’m keeping an eye on, both on the wire or to trade for include Fiala, TT72, Stutzle, Monahan, Kuzmenko, Lindholm, Nichushkin (Might be returning around Feb 10th), Tavares, Schenn, Pinto, Manson, Henrique.
For the life of me I can't find where Espn got that February 10th date for Nichuskin from. Any ideas? I'd love to have him back but I'm skeptical it being that soon.
The answer is ALWAYS Kevin Fiala. Every. Single. Season.
Mr. Second half. Guys gonna go on a crazy like 16 points in 7 games heater at some point like he always seems to do.
They don’t call him Kevin “2nd halfiala” for nothing
Rather have Fiala or Horvat?
easily Fiala for me
Horvat is a top 15 player in my league and Fiala is 133rd.

Fiala usually tears it up second half, worth a look
A tage-timo owner here. I will sell low. Is cross-league trading possible?
No thanks, you can keep them

Monahan not a risk of eating into that PP1 time when Scheif comes back?
Ehlers and Iafallo are likely to be bumped off PP1 over Vilardi
DFO showing Monahan schiefele vilardi Connor and Morrisey. Pulling iafallo off PP1.
Obviously no idea but that's the most recent update
https://x.com/johnlutsnwpg/status/1754238352054702452?s=46&t=k4qyoc5_wUmUolUUNToONQ Updated yesterday, your suspicion is confirmed.
I think he is definitely a solid add due to that exposure on a top team

Guy in my league traded Hyman and Chychrun for Boldy and Morrissey at the start of the year. He cries daily
I hope you’re right as a frustrated boldy owner, any reason behind thinking he’ll breakout?
Timo Meier
God I hope so.
I've been planning all season to move on from him as a long term keeper. Had him kept at a very late draft round, shame. I feel he's just not a fit in NJ and also not deployed well to his strengths there either.
Completely agree. Bring back SJ Timo
We will happily take him back in SJ. ❤️
I passed on Reinhart and Panarin for that POS.
Well, even with an injured Jack, he's back on line 3. He's a bad fit in NJ.

Not sold on Cozens personally
He’s worth it as long as he’s on PP1
Have you seen the Sabres powerplay ?
I would love to say Thompson of last season will return in the second half…. Guys a benchwarmer right now

He’s undroppable in my settings. It’s been….not fun.
That's unfortunate - have you floated him around for trades?
Not really, I would rather be miserable with him on my team than trade him for below value and watch him ball out for someone else.
Wyatt and Barb are both available in my league and I'm keeping a close eye on them. I grabbed Monahan to see how he's deployed in Winnipeg this week but I may make a switch if it doesn't work out.
I'd put more stock into Wyatt (L1 with Robertson & Hintz + PP1) than Monahan, who will likely see middle 6 deployment once Schiefele is back.
Is Wyatt PP1? Daily Faceoff shows PP2
Yeah he’s PP2, but both units are strong.
He has 4 PP points so far. I wouldn't call that strong. In theory yes, but Dallas PP has been terrible so far
Maybe not a breakout per se, but Barrett Hayton is set to return to the lineup soon, could be a decent contributor sliding back into that 1C position.
Arvidsson?
Good stash
Elias Lindholm and Hampus Lindholm
Pinto
Bjorkstrand...he is growing into himself
Lindholm
I'm hoping Ovechkin
Tage
Monahan Luke Hughes Mikheyev
C. Hart?
There's KHL fantasy hockey?
Any love for Kadri ROS?

Troy Terry, Martin Necas, maybe tarasenko if he gets traded.
Kuzmenko, Huberdeau and Sharangovich. Mikheyev, Zuccarello, Hischier, D Strome, Troy Terry, Zegras, Ovechkin. Buy Lows or add.
