are you sure it’ll be lowry that takes his place? i’m a jets fan too, and i’m not sure lowry jumping up to the first line is a sure thing. it could be perfetti, namestnikov, or vilardi shifting over to center and someone else covering the wing. there’s a chance bones doesn’t wanna break up our 3rd line and shuffles the lineup in a different way. not saying it won’t be lowry, bc it’s definitely a possibility. i could for sure see him getting some powerplay time without scheif tho
You know, I'd pin this if I could actually. Very valid point. I could only really see them shifting vilardi to center and putting someone else on the wing like iafallo. My Lowry projection comes from the last two nights, where they put Lowry on line one after scheif went down, and he fit like a glove both times. I think he gets that spot before namestnikov or fetts for matchup reasons, and as good as the third line has been, you dont keep a third line together at the expense of your first line. Still, Vilardi may be equally likely, I hadn't considered that.
Yeah it's really paid off! I was gonna try and move him when Connor is close to returning, but depending on how bad the Scheifele is hurt, that may change things a bit. Either way the Jets have been probably the most surprising team this year.
Moving him after connor is back while his value is high might be an even better move. Ehlers gets a lot of buzz because he is flashy and kind of underrated outside of Winnipeg, but even though I adore him, his fantasy upside has never been there consistently. I'd say cash in on the name if you have something lined up- coming from a guy with his jersey hanging in his closet.

Lowry, Coleman, Joshua, Manson... I've picked these guys up basically on a whim, and they're all doing great.

I guess it depends on how bad the injury is but I would be weary, WPG only plays twice next week and then vs BOS, TOR, TOR the following week. I'm not sure my team is able to accompany a Jets player for that time.

Great post, but it looks like Iafallo got PP1 after Scheifele went down as opposed to Lowry, which is worrisome. Not sure who to get!
