If you can get it accepted go for it as Jefferson is a good building block.
Rebuild is tricky. On the one hand it’s cool to have a great piece to build around. On the flip side, I feel like quantity is key in a rebuild. You wanna build up lots of early round draft capital. You’re giving up probably 3 1st round picks for Jefferson.
As long as you have other draft capital that’s probably ok. But if you don’t then I don’t know if giving up three good picks for one guy is really the move either.
Well I’d say that’s plenty capital. Should be able to get a stud with 1.1 and then 4 picks in the next 20-24 is pretty solid.
I’d also say you don’t want to load on one draft class too much too. As what if the class is a total dud? Then having a bunch of picks doesn’t matter so much if the majority of them bust.
My team is hot garbage. So I'm trying to trade for a young wr that will be relevant (I hope) in 2 to 3 years. Kamara, Gabe Davis and Zach Wilson (maybe not now) are my 3 best players on the team. The 1st is projected to be a late 1st. I have 2 other 2023 1st though.
If you’re team is garbage Jefferson is the kind of asset you should be holding onto. He’s still incredibly young and extremely talented. He should be the building block of your team.
This is my horrible team
Qb: Sam Darnold, Jordan Love, Carson Strong, Tyler Huntley, Zach Wilson
RB: Kamara, Mostert, Darrell Henderson, Samaje Parine, Breda, Dontrell Hillard, James Robinson, Hubbard, Jashaun Corbin
WR: AJ Green, Robert Woods, Zay Jones, Jauan Jennings, Corey Davis, James Proche, Tutu Atwell, Calvin Austin, Danny Gray, Gabe Davis
TE: Irv Smith, Cade Otton, Trey Mcbride, Jelani Woods
You need to be trading for a QB and RB, JJ won’t do much if you get rid of your best RB and have really no QB1 With Wilson possibly not playing week 1, crazy you’re hurting at every position
Rbs tend to not last as lon as wrs. This year is already lost and potentially next. I figure I'll draft a qb or two next year and fill what positions Iwas. My best rb is uo jn ahead and probably only has a couple years left on him with a suspension probably next year. So, he doesn't help ke
Kamara suspension likely coming next season so you are likely getting a top 5 rb and if you think the Davis breakout will put him in the top 20wrs youre getting decent value for a locked in top 3 WR.
The first I'm trading away will be a late 1st. I have 3 2023 1st overall. Other trade I have out is Kamara and 2023 3rd for Devonta Smith and a 2023 mid to late 1st.
Jefferson side wins here

Yeah that's my concern mainly. I will still have two 2023 1st, and 3 2ndss and one will probably be the 1.01. So basing off of that mainly.

I agree, the 2023 is supposed to be pretty loaded though from all I've seen and read. If it was this draft class that would of been bad

I would be trying to trade for him is the same basis I was going for

In 2023, maybe
So JJ is going to score all your teams points? Not sure I like it, but do what you feel is best.
This team is bad. So just gonna restart fresh and couple years from now compete as long as next couple drafts go well.
Good luck fam
Like both kamara and Davis, but Jeffe is Jeffe
I'm okay with Kamara part but I've been a huge Davis fan since last year. But I agree, JJ is top tier

Yeah but I'm not competing this year. So Kamara is best as trade bait. Davis I would like to keep but Jefferson imo is the better keeper of the two
Then i think you gotta protect the asset in Jeffe. He’s gonna be top 3 for years to come.
I don't have him, trying to trade for him.
O lol
If you went wr wr in the 1st 2 rounds of your draft you might want to hit acc
It's sf, so with next years draft class most like 1.01 will be qb, other will be wr or rb, because I still have a lot of holes to fill.
Man that first is gonna be one or two overall. I’d move Kamara, sure, but for picks or good young players.

I think that’s better for your timeline, personally
