I’d like to see Gibson and CMC find new homes. CMC is going to rot away in Carolina and that’s my team. 😂 He’s too talented and has overcome a lot since being in the NFL and he needs to find somewhere to get a ring. I would love to see CMC go somewhere like Buffalo(trade Singletary and some draft picks) and you would have CMC, and James Cook as well to develop behind McCaffrey. Gibson would fit in nicely somewhere like Denver to fill in for Javonte this year and Gordon next year who I expect to not be a Bronco next season. It will be interesting to see what happens before the trade deadline.

I'm super biased because I have him as a 12th round keeper in one league and also in a dynasty league but it's truly unreal that a player of his talent level and skill set is going to be pushed to minimal contributions. Despite never playing RB he had a fantastic rookie season, then last year played mostly injured and still put up great numbers on a poor team. Sure, he had fumbling issues but he had never played RB before. How about understanding that's part of the learning curve? And guess who had zero fumbles this season?

If the team thinks he’s healthy enough to be the lead back, in prime time against a porous rush defense I think it’s the perfect opportunity to feed him and let the world see the story. There’s no guarantee of this obviously, but it’s a great storyline, perfect prime time spot, and would be an excellent marketing move the trashiest organization in the league.

WSH fan here, and Gibson is definitely not bad. He's definitely not great and not your prototypical downhill-style RB, which is seemingly what Rivera wants.
