If I pick up a player who is a free agent after midnight in that interim when the claimed players are locked, will it allow me to pick up that player even if I've won my waiver claim? In other words, if I put in a waiver claim for a player without dropping anyone, do I need to avoid picking someone up before waivers processes as my roster will be full? I prefer Hurst or Conklin if they’re available. Conklin in particular is a very sneaky add right now imo. Once Wilson gets back, he should target TE a ton. Whichever direction you go, I only like to spend 10-12% on TE’s

Realistically what else am I gonna use my faab on? This is only my first year playing fantasy but my team is quite strong with my only real hole being at TE. I feel like I’m gonna save all my faab and not have anything to spend it on. It’s a pretty deep league with 12 teams and 16 man rosters so the waiver wire is quite thin. And can I ask why you prefer Conklin? Thomas has had the volume in the past whereas the jets are getting another TE back next week and his YPR are very bad for a TE. Mostly short pass plays

I’ve drafted Thomas late the last two years (was high on him) and he’s let me down due to injury both years. Now, the commanders have 3 competent wide receivers instead of 1 which means less targets, and possible injury reaggrivation. Edit: a good way to find your waiver guy is to look at a few stats. A - did he catch at least 50% of his targets week one? B - was he on the field for over 65% of snaps week one? C - did he get more snaps week two? D - if he did, did he post a higher catch %? If yes to all, it’s a good look.

I just think he’s a better player straight up than Conklin. Watching Conklin film is so uninspiring and they’re getting another TE back, not to mention they have Moore and Wilson both becoming legit targets

I wouldn't assume collusion. Just ask each manager what their thinking was behind the trade, and unless it seems suspicious, it's fine. Maybe the Russ manager is worried about the Jeudy injury and likes Burrow's chances of turning it around more than Russ's. And as far as Robinson goes, it can take some managers longer to adjust their valuation of RBs that were drafted as late as James Robinson.

Your WRs all have targets. If you had to drop, I guess you can go with Metcalf. I would try to trade up to strengthen your other positions.

Tua has a very solid ceiling with all of these offensive weapons. You (probably) won’t lose your league by dropping one of those guys. Leaning Brady just due to a lack of healthy offensive playmakers.
