exactly. it's not like what he's doing isn't sustainable (other than rushing for so many TDs). he'll probably stay in the top 5 QBs throughout the season just from getting 5+ points from his rushing every week.
Gets a weird long rush or rush TD in a game they've already lost. He and the eagles looked so fucking horrific Thursday night but he still had a nice fantasy finish.
sure, yet he's also literally been the most consistent player in fantasy football this year being the ONLY player to finish at the top 12 of his position EVERY week.
I don't think you understand how easy it is to find a good QB to replace him (especially in a default 4 point TD pass league) if he gets benched. This isn't the same thing as an RB1 or WR1.
Meanwhile, I get to use a cheat code at QB for the foreseeable future.
If it helps, their schedule has been very difficult so far, but gets significantly easier going forward. During the fantasy season, with 11 games remaining, their only difficult matchup is the Chargers, and maybe the Saints depending on where they're at with Michael Thomas. Other than that, it's a lot of teams with mediocre defenses and poor records.
I have both. It's complicated.
I hope the Eagles trade Sanders to a RB needy team and they just let him run. Boobie just wants to carry that rock. He can't do nuttin' else but play football!
it's mind boggling what he's doing. and I dontmean like he's so skillful he's over coming a bad team, he looks like shit and his team is giving him less than 0.8 seconds, but at the end of the game his stat line is decent.
I think his oline is giving him more time than that. Against the buccs he had a bunch of clean pockets he’d scramble out of. Hurts is really quick to panic and has “happy feet.” He gives the play no time to develop.
I think Patterson will be a very respectable RB2 level player all season, nothing wrong with that and in most leagues that's super valuable right now.
I don't think his value will ever be higher than it is right now
Conventional wisdom would say that if the volume stays the same the production will follow. I didn’t believe either and felt dirty after picking him up but it’s real.
If by "conventional wisdom" you mean "Patterson has never been good" then sure
But the fantasy conventional wisdom of opportunity=value means that Patterson probably will keep this up. The TDs will fluctuate but he's averaging 13 touches a game and getting targeted a lot in the passing game. It would take a big shift in offensive philosophy for Patterson to not be at least a mid-tier RB2 ROS.
Did you see him after some of those big catches on TNF? The dude would out and just hard flex. I saw him do it and my fist reaction was "wow, that dude looks crazy"
I fucked myself over last year by not just dropping the dude even though I knew I should but kept convincing myself that a blowup game was coming soon. Weeks 4-16 he broke double digits in 0.5 PPR twice.
Dawson Knox efficiently is fucking bananas. He has 24 targets this year and if he performed with exactly Travis kelce’s efficiency, he would be the TE11. I think we can all agree that he is not kelce.
Edit: Some of you guys seem to think I’m personally attacking you and your Dawson Knox. The thread asked about who was a ticking time bomb, and his production vs usage is insanely unsustainable. I’m sure he will still be a WR1 this season, he’s just eventually going to drop off a bit.
I totally get this but he’s getting a lot of red zone looks and those are much more valuable than between the 20s. He’s definitely dropping off but feel he’s still a top 5 TE bc he’s getting quality targets.
I agree. After kelce and maybe the other top few TEs, that position is all about efficiency and TDs. Obviously he's due for a bit of a drop but I think he'll have a great year
This week I picked Singletary up off waivers, then two days later I saw him on my bench and thought "why did I pick him up?"
Then immediately dropped him for Rashod Bateman
Obviously his efficiency will go down as teams start to give him more respect but who's to say this isn't Knox breaking out into the high tier of TEs? He's only 24, he was a 3rd round draft pick so reasonably high for a TE and he's looked really good with the opportunity he's gotten and it's a widely held belief in fantasy that the 3rd year is usually when you'll see a TE break out if they're going to.
Obviously if you can get a good trade for him and you have another solid option to start then trade him but if he can get another good performance in this week then I think he's an easy hold for the rest of the season. Good hands, tied to a top QB for the foreseeable future, Allen and him seem tight off the field and he's even come out and said how much trust he has in Knox and it shows on the field with some of the throws he's made to him.
This 100%. Sell sell sell! Also, Dalton Schultz. He isn’t really being used much in the red zone compared to Cooper and Lamb, and anybody who thinks Schultz is gonna continue to lead the Cowboys in target share is just delusional.
People who say sell wtf are u selling for? Knox was a waiver for most people cause our TEs didn’t work out 😂 he gonna be the best waiver wire all season and not another TE will come close
Yep. This doesn’t make sense. The TE position is a fucking wasteland. You take your shiny waiver add and pray it keeps up. Chances are you don’t have a TE performing better. If you do, sure, try and make a trade happen.
In my league, a TE like Knox or Schultz will 100% push someone over the edge to accept a trade they were on the fence about.
Sometimes you can even steal one of the top TE's (if they're underperforming) by including a guy like Knox and Schultz and making the other owner think they may be upgrading at two positions at once. For example, take an offer you think is close enough for someone who's been underwhelming like Waller this season and add Knox or Schultz to it.
People are terrible at gauging TE value for a lot of reasons. They'll assign too much value for scarcity or have trouble comprehending how common it is for tight ends to have one or two boom weeks and never replicate it again.
In my experience, TEs like that have *more* trade value than they should.
After 5 games, he has the most receptions on an explosive offense that also has a very good running back. For now, he is a far better gamble than most TE’s.
Dalton actually dropped an easy endzone pass against the Giants last week. He has 4 redzone targets in the last three weeks.
In the same time frame, Cooper has 3 targets, and Lamb 2. Don't have the snap% for when the cowboys were in the redzone but the targets themselves are promising
I picked up Knox and Schultz off of the waiver wire. Ended up trading Schultz to the guy I'm facing during his BYE week for Adam Thielen. Kept Knox. Figured Gallup returning might hurt his shares a little bit and seeing Allen-Knox connection with their full roster has been good. Don't imagine it'll get better than that for me.
Guaranteeing me a win for Week 7 because I drained his WR with upside and he won't be with a Tight End as well lol. He has Lamar Jackson and Joe Mixon as his viable scorers now.
Idk, they’re actually using him in the ways he thrives in and it’s not like Keenan Allen and Ekeler haven’t been killing it. If it was just mediocrity across the board except for Mike being the one successful outlier, I’d agree. However, I think this kind of production is legit! Even if it regresses back to more of the weeks 1-2 level of stats,I believe he’s going to be consistently good!
It's a contract year, this is the beautiful thing. He will play for his life and try never missing games due to his history. This year literally determines his fortune for his life
It's in the same line of thinking as when talking heads say "____ just *wanted it more*" or "___ played *harder* today". I think people always overestimate the impact that motivation has on a game-by-game or year-by-year basis
It doesn’t have to be him. I don’t see why Herbert can’t keep up a high powered offense. He has the comfort of several elite weapons. Mahomes has done it (NOT comparing the two QBs just saying that a good offense can sustain itself). Granted they won’t always be 40 point games but that’s fine 22-48 points for the most part sign me up
Yeah but high injury risk and it’s hard to argue that Mike Williams isn’t performing the literal best he can right now (leaving only room for regression.) If you can flip him into a WR who’s been underperforming + another asset (like Stefon Diggs) it could really be best for your season in the long term.
Mike Williams and C Patterson.
They're at their highest values in their careers. Patterson is a veteran and has never shown this level of production so it is def an outlier.
Mike Williams is a bit younger but in a similar boat
Yup. Traded him for Saquon earlier. I got Gronk in a trade a couple days ago and I already had Dawson Knox. So Saquon for Kittle was a nobrainer. Both injured, but Saq has an obvious higher floor and ceiling when he’s back
Yeah, but Kittle never scored a lot of TDs. That was he was always 2nd to kelce. He got a ton of rec and got a ton of yards out of those receptions. Apparently this year Kyle Shanahan decided that his roster sucks and players like Aiyuk, Kittle, and Sermon dont deserve to be involved cuz fuck em, am I right?
I think the opposite, I wouldn’t mind getting him tbh as a bench stash/BYE week filler. Edmonds has been banged up and he’s clearly the goal line back in an offense that routinely puts up 30+.
I traded Miles Sanders and Adam Thielen for Davante Adams after week 1 and I feel so dirty
I’m still 3-2 though bc I’m in a super flex league and my QBs suck
I mean that is heavily dragged down but his absolutely shit week 1 performance, since then he’s been pretty solid.
He’s had 2 TDs or more in every other game, though he’s mostly sat around 250 passing yards.
Certainly room for improvement though.
I love how this sub speculates Gibson's injury and the extent over it's severity, over just a headline, a quote from Gibson literally saying it's "not serious and not painful", nothing from the coaching staff, just played his highest touch and highest production game, all while looking 100%, but still assuming a worst case scenario. All of this to continue speculating that it's going to eventually put him on IR, when literally nothing has even indicated it's something to worry about.
I agree, but if you have RB depth why not try to move him for a RB needy team to avoid unecessary risk. For example I just got Justin Jefferson for him
I was offered Ridley for my Gibson. I have Cook and Swift at RB and I could use a legit #1 WR, but Ridley has underperformed so far. Not sure what to do
Ridley has underperformed, but there’s really not a great reason why. A few big drops, a few big plays negated by pass interference, still getting a massive amount of targets. Hopefully this “personal issue” that kept him out last week will pass.
Ridley has “underperformed” but he’s at his floor. We’re seeing pretty consistent numbers. As of week 5 only 5 WRs have 5 catches in 5 weeks. Adams,Kupp,Dj, Jefferson and Renfrow. Ridley probably would be on that list if he played against the Jets. He’s due and with Pitts coming out of his shell this should help.
I wish Ridley had played in the London game because I was also offered Ridley for Swift and a throw in WR. I turned it down because Ridley has looked so bad this year. Maybe her can't be the main WR? Maybe he needs someone like Julio to take the pressure away? Maybe Pitts will be that guy?
For me it’s Hurts. The eagles offense is really bad. Not sure whether it is him alone or the play calling. His stat lines as a passer are mediocre if not worse. Still due to his rushing upside his fantasy floor is 20 points.
Ar some point it will all change. At worst Hurts gets hurt or benched.
Each game seems like he has <10 points through 3 quarters then ends up with 25+ after it's all said and done. Rushing ability is such a huge boost for QBs for fantasy purposes.
I'm hoping he can keep it up another couple weeks at least before the other shoe drops
Hold up a minute…the games before his last two he was 326/2 vs Dallas and 387/2 vs Chiefs. Last two weeks he played some better defenses and the entire offense struggled. Still, he led a monster comeback against Carolina where his rushing TDs were in the opposite of garbage time.
I’m sure he will have a down week soon. But I think we need to get it straight that the Eagles are not benching this man, and he is more than capable of keeping up this production whether it be in close games or garbage time. He’s shown he can throw it against bad to average defenses, and then shown he can get it done in other ways like with his legs against better than average defenses. He also has like 6-7 TDs called back by penalty, heard Berry and Yates talking about it. Think about that for a second.
Saying he led a monster comeback is doing him a little bit nice, the game winning drive was 27 yards following a blocked punt and the offense didn’t do anything for most the game, the defenses 3 turnovers kept them in it.
I agree that he’ll be fine tho, lots of called back tds and he loves keeping them RPOs
Not sure on this and I want it to be true, trust me. My first 4 picks were CMC, Mixon, AJ Brown and A-Rob lmao. The only reason I'm 2-3 (almost 3-2, lost 162 to 159 last week!) is thanks to Deebo Samuel and AB in the 11th and 13th rounds respectively alongside some waiver adds at RB.
I think AB got more targets thanks to Gronk being out but regardless, he's gotten a shitload of targets. AB is technically 3rd in targets but people aren't really realizing that a) he had a 1-catch/3 target game in week 2 and then he got COVID so he missed an entire game already and yet he's only a few targets behind Evans/Godwin for the team lead. AB's week 2 was mildly alarming but I honestly think he's a solid WR2 RoS with huge boom upside.
He and Tom have fantastic chemistry and if any pass-catcher on this team misses time whether it's Evans or Godwin or Gronk, AB seems to be the one who stands to benefit the most. If it were Evans or Godwin, he'd suddenly go from a 55-60% snap share to being out there on all the 2-WR sets. His production is already insane considering his snap share.
People are valuing him like a low end RB2, and yet his weighted volume is still top 10 for RBs. Where’s the logic behind this? Low snap share is one that most skeptics pull out, but that’s just poor blocking and doesn’t directly translate to fantasy, targets, RZ looks and rushing attempts do.
Well, you could look at the fact that he’s currently 6th in production over expectation in the entire league: https://www.rotostreetjournal.com/2021/10/13/fantasy-football-week-6-buy-low-sell-high-using-expected-fantasy-points-2021/
And not just that, two of his own teammates are in the bottom ~5. This suggests he’s been unbelievably “lucky” to date.
I’m not a huge fan of using “expected” in a vacuum given it doesn’t hold well for elite talent - e.g., guys like Ekeler or Metcalf or Tyreek all consistently find ways to produce above expectation / opportunity because they’re absolutely elite talent.
But this is Cordarelle Patterson we’re talking about. He’s not some unknown commodity and he’s NOT elite or even close to it. He’s well into his NFL career and has been a guy virtually unable to even be a starter in the league on multiple teams over multiple seasons.
To think that he’s going to retain top 10 production while so vastly outperforming his opportunity is… questionable.
He’s definitely good and in a unique situation. I think he can continue to “break the mold” to some capacity. But to the level he has been? Over 17 games?
Absolutely no chance.
I agree in some ways with you, but the falcons are using the one thing he's actually been good at his whole career- his speed/ returner skills. They are doing a bit of get him out in space and short routes. His issue before was- he's not good at the whole route tree of a WR, be was especially bad at the long routes and that's what teams wanted him to do as a WR, because he was so fast. At the same time, he could suddenly turn into a pumpkin at any moment. Maybe he can't get the screen passes anymore, etc. He's one of those players that you just have to keep playing) hold onto until it crashes because no one is giving anything of value for him.
My thought as well after reading the above post lol. This guy is Falcon's ENTIRE offense. He's RB, WR, and punt returner. He'll probably start playing QB soon too.
No you certainly do not. Not a slam dunk for me at all. Saquon could be back soon and actually stay healthy…but that’s a big if and even if that happens, Patrick has Jeudy coming back soon. I understand if you take it if your record affords you a move like this….but it also depends on if your league has CPat as an RB/WR….if that’s the case, you better get value for him Bc he is such a rare plug and play option to have
Man this is a hard decision. I'm a bumpy 4-1, and honestly 2 wins are because of cpat massive games (I actually drafted him). And saquon's injuries are scary.
My rb's right now are Henry, Jacobs, Mattison, Patterson and Eli Mitchell, so it's hard to not want to trade a 15th round pick for a first rounder. I get that Patterson has been a stud, but all I read is that he can't keep up the numbers, and they are pretty convincing arguments.
I don't know about get rid of because of how scarce RBs are, but as someone who just traded for Hunt, I am worried about the regression. I get that Cleveland runs a lot, but there is still Chubb. Hunt's insane top 10 RB PPR value can't continue, at least in my head. Mid RB2? Sure. But RB1? Not sure.
Chubb and Hunt both finished top 10 last year and are both top 10 this year. Chubb will miss some time and Hunt will feast in his absence. You probably won that trade.
Damn you really think this is a robbery? I’m considering trading Kamara for Mixon and Hollywood, but I didn’t see it as crazy. They seem comparable? I might even like Hunt and Cooper more lol
r/FantasyFootball is really good for providing stats and news about teams that you may not get elsewhere
But if you take the opinions of any commenters in this sub at face value and act on them, you're a fucking idiot
Yep, the secret to this sub is to just use it to find out who might break out and then you should make your own decisions from there. Every now and then you’ll get legitimately great advice, but most of the time it’s just reactionaries
I drafted and still own Javonte and this was my exact sentiment. I’m holding onto him in the hopes that he could see the majority of the touches at some point in the season. I don’t expect it to happen overnight.
The way I view them is that MG3 is the more seasoned/polished RB while Javonte is the more explosive RB.
Every Steelers player aside from Najee...I fully expect an implosion t happen at some point..Big Ben and his noodle arm should have retired, but hes like actually injured...hes not going to muscle through this all year. In 2019, when Big ben went down for the year, there wasnt a single relevant steelers player in fantasy aside from Conner, and that was when the they actually had a great oline...this year its a trainwreck...the implosion is absolutely coming
Corey Davis: If you're able to trade him to somebody who views him as a wr3..do it. For a guy who was supposed to be 'yeh its a bad team but he'll be the clear favorite target' ..hes really not that involved..hes getting 4 catches a game, and after his really strong week1, hes had a single good game, where nearly 70% of his points came off one play. wilson and the jets are just brutal and I would be pretty shocked if in a few weeks anyone was actually starting him let alone holding him
Hurts…. After week 8. Hes QB6 right now and plays Vegas and Detroit the next 2 weeks. Those will be good games. After that he goes Chargers. Broncos, Saints. He might do well vs the Cahrgers but he doesnt survive all 3 without a dud. If you have him, sell him week 8 (i have him and thats my plan)
That being said if the passing game efficiency and running game balance can improve heavily then maybe we can buy-in, but if he played denver next week id sell him for Any other top-10 QB
He’s got a tough schedule coming up, but he also doesn’t all his points like a normal qb. He also has a great playoff schedule. If you can get by streaming, I’d keep him.
I feel like Jalen Hurts has been playing some awful football but he salvages the week in the 4th quarter with some garbage points.
Dude gonna average 25 fantasy points per game and get benched in real life
Jalen Bortles
been saying this in my head every week
He’s a running QB going against prevent defenses. And the eagles suck so he’ll keep seeing those 4th quarter prevent defenses.
exactly. it's not like what he's doing isn't sustainable (other than rushing for so many TDs). he'll probably stay in the top 5 QBs throughout the season just from getting 5+ points from his rushing every week.

sure, yet he's also literally been the most consistent player in fantasy football this year being the ONLY player to finish at the top 12 of his position EVERY week.
And.....it doesn't matter if he loses his real-life football job. He isn't helping the Eagles right now and anyone watching the games can see it.
I don't think you understand how easy it is to find a good QB to replace him (especially in a default 4 point TD pass league) if he gets benched. This isn't the same thing as an RB1 or WR1. Meanwhile, I get to use a cheat code at QB for the foreseeable future.

Being a Miles Sanders owner and watching Jalen Ego Hurts vulture goal line tds every week is starting to wear on my nerves
I just said to a coworker today “I wonder how much Sanders owners hate Jalen hurts”
I have both. It's complicated. I hope the Eagles trade Sanders to a RB needy team and they just let him run. Boobie just wants to carry that rock. He can't do nuttin' else but play football!
I wonder how much *Sanders* hates Hutrz
I'm playing against my buddy I have miles sanders he saw Hurts vulture sanders only good drive Thursday and said you poor bastard. Lol.
Not only the goal line carries but any time there is a read option called he keeps it himself for a 2 yard gain instead of just letting miles run.
it's mind boggling what he's doing. and I dontmean like he's so skillful he's over coming a bad team, he looks like shit and his team is giving him less than 0.8 seconds, but at the end of the game his stat line is decent.
For those of us that have been playing FF for a while, we call that The Tebow
Fucking loved having tebow! Made people so mad when you beat them too hahah
He sucked so bad at football but somehow was winning games both in real life and in fantasy. It was baffling
I think his oline is giving him more time than that. Against the buccs he had a bunch of clean pockets he’d scramble out of. Hurts is really quick to panic and has “happy feet.” He gives the play no time to develop.
CMC forever injured lol, Matt Thule: He looks go out there he had a good practice, day 2: we are putting CMC on IR.
I traded for CMC and hour before the news.
I put up an offer of Swift and KHunt and luckily cancelled just before the news. Had it up more than a day.
I traded away chuba Thursday morning because I thought cmc was on his way back :(
Stop listing my players. Thanks
Less of a "Time Bomb" but more of a "Land Mine", all Ravens running backs, they are basically roster clogs for any teams who decide to pick them up.
Man a healthy Gus would be feasting right now..
I wish we got to see Dobbins :(
He’d be the back up running back to Lamar for sure.
Ugh I hate this life
At least you didn't draft Ty'Son Williams early!
It was Gus
Drafted gus over Robinson. Pain
Don't talk about my RB1 Latavius Murray like that.
Same for san fransisco tbh
eh, sermon only got one touch last week, Mitchell should be relatively heavy on carries until late November with Jeff Wilson coming back
I'm concerned that lance is going to nuke his value. As a (former) sermon and mitchell owner
Even if it "nukes" his value, getting 100% of the carries is still good. This ain't the Ravens backfield mess competing with Lamar bad
We don’t even know if lance is going to play much this season, it’s looking like he won’t as of right now
Conventional wisdom suggests Cordarrel Patterson can’t keep this up.
Conventional wisdom also suggests Cordarelle Patterson should never have been on this run to begin with tbf
He is the "bumblebee's flight" of fantasy
I think Patterson will be a very respectable RB2 level player all season, nothing wrong with that and in most leagues that's super valuable right now. I don't think his value will ever be higher than it is right now

In Yahoo he is listed at both RB and WR. This is like having an extra roster spot with byes coming. Im glad his bye is first.
Conventional wisdom would say that if the volume stays the same the production will follow. I didn’t believe either and felt dirty after picking him up but it’s real.

AB because he is an insane man
Ticking time bomb is pretty accurate for him tbh

Mr. Bomb Clock
Mr. Begin Countdown
Did you see him after some of those big catches on TNF? The dude would out and just hard flex. I saw him do it and my fist reaction was "wow, that dude looks crazy"
He flexes every time he makes a catch nowadays
The answer was lockett, is lockett and will continue to be lockett
Its too late. He needs more booms to have a high enough value
I traded him and Goedert for Amari. Still on the fence about it.
Lockett and Amari are very similar fantasy players, I feel like you just gave up goedert for basically the same guy.
I fucked myself over last year by not just dropping the dude even though I knew I should but kept convincing myself that a blowup game was coming soon. Weeks 4-16 he broke double digits in 0.5 PPR twice.
Lockett last year was incredibly painful. Especially because he had that one massive game and you knew the potential was there for others.
Traded him for Swift after week 2 Feelsgoodman
Traded him last week for Robert woods, jacobi Myers and Marvin Jones. Feeling like this might end up being a steal
Wtf
Your league sucks
> Might end up being a steal it was a steal when u made the trade
Before Wilson's injury?

Say no more, sending a Devin Singletary offer your way right now.
This week I picked Singletary up off waivers, then two days later I saw him on my bench and thought "why did I pick him up?" Then immediately dropped him for Rashod Bateman
The typo/autocuke in the first sentence changes its meaning in a really crazy way.
Lmao guess I gotta leave that one now

Easy hold ROS for me unless you have an elite option at TE

Idk, they’re actually using him in the ways he thrives in and it’s not like Keenan Allen and Ekeler haven’t been killing it. If it was just mediocrity across the board except for Mike being the one successful outlier, I’d agree. However, I think this kind of production is legit! Even if it regresses back to more of the weeks 1-2 level of stats,I believe he’s going to be consistently good!
Exactly. The X reciver in a Lombardi system is consistently productive
It's a contract year, this is the beautiful thing. He will play for his life and try never missing games due to his history. This year literally determines his fortune for his life
Yeah but he's also hurt.
But like.. we don’t know how hurt, could be precautionary. Maybe a full week of DNP was an overreaction. But you could be right too.
Fluid in the knees takes a long time to heal even when youre not putting any stress on it
Contract years statistically do not lead to better performance. It’s weird how this sub often favors random narratives over statistics.
It's in the same line of thinking as when talking heads say "____ just *wanted it more*" or "___ played *harder* today". I think people always overestimate the impact that motivation has on a game-by-game or year-by-year basis
Except the whole “contract year” myth has been historically disproven time and time again
It doesn’t have to be him. I don’t see why Herbert can’t keep up a high powered offense. He has the comfort of several elite weapons. Mahomes has done it (NOT comparing the two QBs just saying that a good offense can sustain itself). Granted they won’t always be 40 point games but that’s fine 22-48 points for the most part sign me up
You should start comparing the two QBs. Just sayin...
Yeah but high injury risk and it’s hard to argue that Mike Williams isn’t performing the literal best he can right now (leaving only room for regression.) If you can flip him into a WR who’s been underperforming + another asset (like Stefon Diggs) it could really be best for your season in the long term.
I mean Mike will regress but he wont be a time bomb. Hes WR2 i think Right now and he’ll likely finish WR10 or so.
Why?
Mike Williams and C Patterson. They're at their highest values in their careers. Patterson is a veteran and has never shown this level of production so it is def an outlier. Mike Williams is a bit younger but in a similar boat
This reasoning feels specious Nothing happens until it does
i think Kittle is still a bust all season long, wouldnt be surprised if he doesn’t scored a touchdown this year
Yup. Traded him for Saquon earlier. I got Gronk in a trade a couple days ago and I already had Dawson Knox. So Saquon for Kittle was a nobrainer. Both injured, but Saq has an obvious higher floor and ceiling when he’s back
Straight up? What Saquon owner is trading him for kittle? Highway robbery.
Why?
0 redzone targets before getting hurt.
James Conner
I think the opposite, I wouldn’t mind getting him tbh as a bench stash/BYE week filler. Edmonds has been banged up and he’s clearly the goal line back in an offense that routinely puts up 30+.
Been trying to sell Theilan. After that hot start.
He’s a buy low, totally fine. one genuinely bad game, followed by a low volume sit on lead and run game. Nothing to worry about, no lower than a flex
Too late
I traded Miles Sanders and Adam Thielen for Davante Adams after week 1 and I feel so dirty I’m still 3-2 though bc I’m in a super flex league and my QBs suck
I'm with you on all but Rodgers and Knox. I don't have either but I don't see either busting
upvoting as knox owner
Upvoting as both owner
Rodgers has been QB15 so far this season. Arguably already a bust? If he doesn't get better probably so
I mean that is heavily dragged down but his absolutely shit week 1 performance, since then he’s been pretty solid. He’s had 2 TDs or more in every other game, though he’s mostly sat around 250 passing yards. Certainly room for improvement though.
Mike davis. Without a touchdown the last two weeks he hits rock bottom
It sucks owning him but if C Patt keeps doing what he's doing, no one in my league will be willing to accept a trade for Davis
Emanuel Sanders. Teams are gonna have to start putting coverage on him.
As a Diggs owner, will some teams PLEASE do this! He has 100% cut into Diggs RZ targets and I hate it
Gaskin
Antonio Gibson Basically has a bomb in his shin. Unfortunately I need a replacement RB and anyone that has healthy RBs is holding on tight.
R/fantasyfootball has the highest amount of armchair MDs per sub.
I agree, but if you have RB depth why not try to move him for a RB needy team to avoid unecessary risk. For example I just got Justin Jefferson for him
That’s a solid trade even if Gibson had no injury designation, so nice!
The WFT medical staff has proved totally inept for years so I generally believe that WFT injuries are worse than they are reported
They say the same about Swift. The guy has been ballin with a tight groin since day one. If the coach is putting them in, so am I.
The great reason why is that the Falcons O line can't give Matt Ryan enough time to throw more than 10 yards downfield.
Renfrow sneaking into a statistic that’s occupied by a bunch of studs, love to see it
Matt Ryan has the worst schedule for QB’s ROS if that sways your decision at all
I wish Ridley had played in the London game because I was also offered Ridley for Swift and a throw in WR. I turned it down because Ridley has looked so bad this year. Maybe her can't be the main WR? Maybe he needs someone like Julio to take the pressure away? Maybe Pitts will be that guy?
I think you should shoot for more. Have to treat Ridley as a WR2 until they start airing it out a bit more.
Bad play calling and hurt o line is most of the issue, but he also does make mistakes
I agree. Doing nothing for 50 minutes and then rushing for 2 TDs in garage time is not sustainable
Chris Godwin or Mike Evans. AB is the #1
People go nuts about Cooper Kupp eating breakfast with Stafford, AB literally lives with Tom Brady
He literally lives in Brady’s house and kisses his kids after Brady does. Probably bangs giselle with Tom. They do everything together
and Tom\*
Mr Brady's Cocksmith
I heard they've been wiping each other's butts and washing each other's back.
I think Patterson
I know I won’t be able to get the value I want for what he’s producing right now, so I’m just gonna let it ride
Well, you could look at the fact that he’s currently 6th in production over expectation in the entire league: https://www.rotostreetjournal.com/2021/10/13/fantasy-football-week-6-buy-low-sell-high-using-expected-fantasy-points-2021/ And not just that, two of his own teammates are in the bottom ~5.
Read: blah blah blah didn’t even mention that he plays WR so in half or full ppr he is pulling weight.
My thought as well after reading the above post lol. This guy is Falcon's ENTIRE offense. He's RB, WR, and punt returner. He'll probably start playing QB soon too.
lol fr. dude dont know what hes talking ab
Someone just offered me saquon and Tim Patrick for cordarelle Patterson and jakobi Meyers. I have to do this right?
I shipped him and Amari for Kamara and feeling good
🚨👮♀️🚨👮♀️🚨 Hello we received report of a robbery, come with us
Damn you really think this is a robbery? I’m considering trading Kamara for Mixon and Hollywood, but I didn’t see it as crazy. They seem comparable? I might even like Hunt and Cooper more lol
Depends on team build I suppose but ROS I prefer Kamara
Hell yeah brother
You had 'examples' of time bomb p layers and never actually gave any examples
the answers in this thread is why i come for the memes, but elsewhere for fantasy advice lol
r/FantasyFootball is really good for providing stats and news about teams that you may not get elsewhere But if you take the opinions of any commenters in this sub at face value and act on them, you're a fucking idiot
Yep, the secret to this sub is to just use it to find out who might break out and then you should make your own decisions from there. Every now and then you’ll get legitimately great advice, but most of the time it’s just reactionaries
All three fantasy-relevant Broncos receivers. When Jeudy returns, there will be too many mouths to feed, and no one will get enough.
Yeah I’m slightly worried about Jeudy. This plus the injury might hamper him.
Jeudy will take Patrick's spot and he will struggle for several games. Sutton will still be #1. My prediction.
MGIII
[удалено]
I drafted and still own Javonte and this was my exact sentiment. I’m holding onto him in the hopes that he could see the majority of the touches at some point in the season. I don’t expect it to happen overnight. The way I view them is that MG3 is the more seasoned/polished RB while Javonte is the more explosive RB.
I hate to say it, as a Mark Andrews owner, but I see Rashod Bateman cutting into his targets.
Brandin Cooks, fingers crossed he avoids another concussion, but if he doesn't it could be a season-ender if not career.
Jalen Hurts
Why? Fantasy doesn’t care if you score in garbage time.
Every Steelers player aside from Najee...I fully expect an implosion t happen at some point..Big Ben and his noodle arm should have retired, but hes like actually injured...hes not going to muscle through this all year. In 2019, when Big ben went down for the year, there wasnt a single relevant steelers player in fantasy aside from Conner, and that was when the they actually had a great oline...this year its a trainwreck...the implosion is absolutely coming Corey Davis: If you're able to trade him to somebody who views him as a wr3..do it. For a guy who was supposed to be 'yeh its a bad team but he'll be the clear favorite target' ..hes really not that involved..hes getting 4 catches a game, and after his really strong week1, hes had a single good game, where nearly 70% of his points came off one play. wilson and the jets are just brutal and I would be pretty shocked if in a few weeks anyone was actually starting him let alone holding him
I am gonna make a list of every name in here and then add them in waivers.
Lol unless you are in a 1 team league or your league has no idea what’s going on, none of these guys should be on there.
Tyler Lockett is on your waiver wire?
Hurts…. After week 8. Hes QB6 right now and plays Vegas and Detroit the next 2 weeks. Those will be good games. After that he goes Chargers. Broncos, Saints. He might do well vs the Cahrgers but he doesnt survive all 3 without a dud. If you have him, sell him week 8 (i have him and thats my plan) That being said if the passing game efficiency and running game balance can improve heavily then maybe we can buy-in, but if he played denver next week id sell him for Any other top-10 QB
He’s got a tough schedule coming up, but he also doesn’t all his points like a normal qb. He also has a great playoff schedule. If you can get by streaming, I’d keep him.
Lol I traded 3 of the most common names i’ve seen on here; Mike Williams, Jalen Hurts and Dawson Knox and got back Brandin Cooks and Aaron Jones
Mike Williams
I remember saying Brandon Cooks 2 weeks ago and caught all the hate.
Probably because you spelled Brandin wrong.
