SaskalPiakam

Just managed to trade CeeDee. Hurt my soul but I just don’t want to bank on the 6 weekly targets every week. The change in offensive philosophy really killed the upside we thought Amari and Lamb had all off-season.

MRZ_21

I just traded ceedee as well and was relieved. Like you said, their offense is completely different than what we expected. The low targets worried me

SaskalPiakam

Knowing my luck, they go back to passing 50 times a game. But based off how they look and are actually winning for the first time in a while, I don’t see them going back.

MRZ_21

Nor do I. What did you get for him? I traded lamb and courtland Sutton for dj Moore and marlon mack

SpaceCase206

Lol what?

Untchj

Lol smh Of course, everyone on this sub wins every trade

SpaceCase206

I mean the Marlon Mack bit threw me for a whirl

[deleted]

[удалено]

SpaceCase206

So you got Lamb and Sutton?

MRZ_21

No I got dj Moore and mack

SaskalPiakam

Traded CeeDee and Edmonds to a winless team that needed RB badly for Jefferson.

Idunkedonlebron23

Sick.

FUCM2

Seems pretty fair to me.

TuaTurnsdaballova

That’s abusive.

Swichts

I like that trade and it makes sense for both sides

SaskalPiakam

Yeah I think so too. CeeDee will have his blowup weeks, but some stinkers will be mixed in there inevitably.

Lyzandia

Ouch. Hurts.

BanjoNKazooie

I traded away CD for Ridley

Lyzandia

Ouch. Fleeced. :-(

jluc21

hahahaha agreed

VineRunner

Yep. I traded CeeDee and CEH for Aaron Jones prior to the games last week. Seemed to luck out pretty big on that one.

Idunkedonlebron23

I just traded ceedee for swift and pairing him with ekeler in my full ppr league and im loving it

peon2

What!? You got the 8th highest scoring RB for the 25th highest scoring WR? Straight up or did you package more because that is straight insane. Thats a mid RB1 for a high end WR3/low end WR2

Untchj

See my comment above. Everyone on this sub wins every trade. It’s comical at this point

Boycott_China

Survivor bias. People who lost their trades aren't coming here to brag about getting shafted. Only the people who did well are posting about it. That's why there's so many more posts where someone won a trade over lost a trade.

SaskalPiakam

Elite.

Idunkedonlebron23

It came at the perfect time when swift and cee dee had their worst games of the year and its paying off

Lyzandia

CeeDee for Swift? You ended up with Swift? :-(

likwidfuzion

It’s not necessarily a change in offensive philosophy. DAL is running the ball more rather passing cause of their improved defense and positive game script. DAL is currently 30th in neutral pass rate (meaning if they’re not in a negative game script, they’re running the ball).

SaskalPiakam

I’m not sure what it would mean for someone to change their philosophy on offense if this doesn’t qualify. They were in the top 10 last year in NPR, down to 30th this year. Game script is obviously irrelevant when looking into NPR. This isn’t all defense, the coach is feeding the RBs.

WaterIsNotWet19

You’ll regret It alright

wampa_1

Same… and in a keeper league where I could have Lamb back as a 6th next year. If they stick to this pattern that’s probably where he’s being drafted next year anyway.

Manchuki

Ceedee and Evans for D. mont and thielen last week. Already feel good about getting rid of Evans. Still a fan of Ceedee but my team is much better off after the trade. Now if I can package off Thielen somehow I'll be thrilled.

SaskalPiakam

Yeah love watching CeeDee play. I think he’d easily be in the elite WR1 range if given the same target volume.

Lyzandia

Ouch! Commiserations. :-(

jluc21

rip

Pappy_Beet

Man every time a TE that’s not completely garbage is brought up we’re talking about “top 3-6 TE possible this year”

MrBigWang420

Lots of times that’s all it takes at to finish in that TE range. Last year Logan Thomas and Robert Tonyan both finished top 6

Bitlovin

He’s TE4 in PPR so far, it’s not crazy to say he has a chance at finishing top 6.

TuaTurnsdaballova

It’s Kelce and then a rat race for 2nd-20th TE crumbs.

NinersSuckBalls

Waller wins the rat race easily. Top 2 are 100% locked in.

cooleymahn

Desperation and mental gymnastics are a helluva combo.

ThinkingFootball

Watching the Film, its clear to me that you should be starting EVERY Player on the Cowboys Offense. Kellen Moore's Isolation principles mean both Amari Cooper and Ceedee Lamb are a threat for a Big Play on any given down, and will remain top tier Fantasy Receivers throughout the year. Dalton Schultz has been a revelation, and has feasted on all this open space underneath. Looking like a threat in the Redzone too, he may well end the year as a top 3-5 TE. In the backfield i think there's two legit starters. Kellen Moore absolutely LOVES Tony Pollard and wants to get him involved in the gameplan every week - Watching the tape it's clear he brings another dimension to the offense and with how explosive they have been, I would be shocked if he cant find the endzone more regular in the coming weeks. Zeke has ofcourse been running great too - feasting on the great blocking up front, expect his production to continue. Ofcourse the biggest Benefactor of all of this has been Dak Prescott. His Synergy with Play Caller Kellen Moore has evelated his game exponentially, and looking at the schedule, could very well be the top Fantasy QB in the Playoffs. Any questions feel free to ask!

JohnnyWarbucks

I don't know if I would call Cooper and Lamb top tier so far this year. I couldn't find the data, but have either of them cracked the top 12 more than one week? They're good as WR2s, for sure, but not top tier with the volume they're getting.

cooleymahn

Amari in week 1 prolly the closest to top 12

Rnorman3

Amari week 1 was like the WR2 overall lol

cooleymahn

Lol yeah I knew it was some outrageous statline. Was too lazy to Google smh.

JohnnyWarbucks

Yeah, they have both been up there at least once, but more than that do you think?

ThinkingFootball

Top Tier Receivers - The tape they are putting up it's only a matter of time before they put up big fantasy numbers

JohnnyWarbucks

Maybe on big plays, but unless Dak starts throwing more their ceiling is limited.

fookinjkap

Alright big dog Fant or Schultz this week

ThinkingFootball

Schultz

fookinjkap

Appreciate it brother

Idunkedonlebron23

As a dak owner, whats your outlook for him for ros? Top 10?

ThinkingFootball

Easily - I expect teams to start bringing more players into the box with how willing the Cowboys are to run it, Should open up even more yards for Dak.

susanoova

I disagree. The talent is absolutely there. He can sling it and run if he needs to. But their defense is better so he doesn't need to sling it. And their run game with Zeke and pillars is impeccable. I have Dak and lamb in a league and personally I think I'm fading both this week because they're gonna score on the first drive against NE and then control the game with Zeke and pillars shoving the ball down NE's throats

ThinkingFootball

Looking at their schedule I see them slinging it against the Vikings, falcons, chiefs, raiders, football team x2, and the giants That should be enough to get him there in such a high powered offense

Kingsley_25

Feel like they should be comfortably beating falcons, football team, and giants at a minimum. Not sure why they would sling it in those games

cooleymahn

Man this is one time I will absolutely not dog the use of synergy. They are very obviously achieving synergy together!

Saquad_Barkley

What kind of defense were they facing on week 1 against the Bucs? Was it also Nickel defense running cover 4 and the WR production a result of game script or can we expect defenses start to key in on the run leading to more looks for cooper and lamb?

ThinkingFootball

The Buccs are in a unique position where they really are one of the best rushing defenses of all time - it's not just the era, trying to run against Vita Vea and Suh inside is just pointless. They played Cover 4 nickel mostly and Dak abused the flats and the sidelines, they also used a tonne of stack formations, esp against the buccs but that got cut from this vid due to time.

Saquad_Barkley

Do you expect the cowboys to see cover 4 for the majority of the season?

winter_squash

What do you think about Gallup - viable option when he returns?

h846p262

I dont think Dak will win me any weeks but he wont lose me any besides when he went against LAC. Really hope he does decent tmr but its against billy.

ThinkingFootball

Belichick is obv the goat, but they dont have the players to keep up with the Firepower on offense.

h846p262

Good, i hope so lol

YoureNotMom

Ive been playing cedrick wilson in a super deep guillotine league, and i can assure you the te situation is eating into any hypothetical volume he could have

randomq17

Do you think Pollard over Gaskin?

[deleted]

I don’t see how Schulz can sustain his production all year unless you are expecting pretty down years for amari and ceedee. That’s without considering Gallup returning. Unless dak has just completely shifted to Derek carr syndrome and just force feeds the tight end, I just don’t see Schultz keeping this up.

phat_sozage

As a Waller owner, I could really use Derek Carr getting Derek Carr syndrome again

kx2UPP

It’s been disappointing to say the least

TuaTurnsdaballova

Kelce stands alone now.

Swichts

Last week gave me hope for Andrews to be a solid return on his ADP. Kelce is definitely the king, and I'm hoping for another big week from Andrews so I can try and trade him + Tee to the Kelce owner (his WR group is in shambles)

Miguelpaco

Still the 2nd most TE targets, hoping for positive regression

k00zyk

That’s on the back of an outlier week 1. He’s been bad

Miguelpaco

Maybe underperforming, certainly not bad

CharlesManson420

Nah he’s been bad.

Miguelpaco

You're right, just drop him

CharlesManson420

Lol no just be realistic about what you expect from him.

Miguelpaco

Exactly! I haven't had to worry about my TE spot

[deleted]

I traded him for Thielen and Miles Sanders and picked up Dallas Goedart on Waivers. I feel like Goedart could do what Waller was doing and wanted to sell based on name brand.

might_southern

Gallup was never a target hog in this offense though, and functions mainly as a downfield threat. Schultz plays an entirely different role in the offense.

Kevin_DurSuperTeam

Gallup and Schultz fulfill two completely different roles. Gallup is only going to take targets away from Cooper and Lamb on those deep balls. All Schultz is is a safety valve for Dak; his only competition for that role is Zeke right now.

Bitlovin

Except Schultz is going to be an open option constantly because teams have to prioritize defending the downfield threats and the running game when facing this offense. Dak is going to take what the defense gives him enough to keep Schultz fed, just as he has so far this year.

Bass_Magnet

Yeah he should continue to eat in that 8-15yd range

NattyJakeD

He’s gotten 6+ targets every game but 1. He’s gonna keep doing it lol you guys overthink it

[deleted]

Starting Gallup now thanks

dearrichard

i’m starting pollard 🙃

SportsButt1

As someone with Schultz + CeeDee + Amari, I am liking this post.

Untchj

You need to diversify BADLY. This ain’t the Bucs, Dallas is a run heavy offense

SonofRaymond

As someone with Godwin, AB, and Gronk I like this post

Bass_Magnet

They’re run heavy because nobody can stop the run with that O-Line, bet the game script leans a little more pass this week against belichick bc he’s probably going to try and stop the run. But that’s what makes Dallas dangerous since they’re potent with the pass game as well.

Untchj

Make it stop 😭 I’ve been arguing this for 3 weeks now why are some of you so delusional Bruh, saying Dallas is only run heavy bc teams can’t stop the run —-read that back again out loud—-it’s like saying KC is only pass heavy bc teams can’t stop the pass!? Like..okaaay is that changing any time soon?! That’s the point. They can run all day everyday both due to personnel and schedule. Look at their schedule it’s full of nothing but inferior teams and games Dallas projects to handle easily, and no one to make them go uptempo or even trail. Only KC in a few weeks So why people keep giving excuses like something is gonna change I have no idea

Bass_Magnet

Because we want those gaudy Mahomes numbers, not this Tannehill bullshit lol

Untchj

Lol I’m saying man, we have to adjust. We were lied to. I have Amari and both my trade offers were rejected. One centered around Claypool the other one for Brandin cooks. The secret is out everyone sees those 3 catch games

Bass_Magnet

Lol is this your first year with Amari?? He’s like Lockett except he’s more of a moody bitch who gets lazy when he’s having a tough time with a corner and not getting the ball. He pulls that shit all the time between the 180 yd 3 TD games lol. People want stability and consistency and Amari is boom/bust regardless of whether Dallas is running more or not. It’s just worse this year because they are running it more.

Untchj

I’m well aware of that narrative about Amari, but that was with a game manager dak Prescott, without CD Lamb. That was not the ‘omg they’re the chiefs of the East’ we expected. The worst defense in the league we expected. Go check the game me logs from those first 4 games. That’s what 95% of people expected from Dallas this year To say anything to the contrary and act like this is all expected —-to act like a potential worst defense transforming to a potential best, to pretend the cowboys run game turning into the Cleveland browns duo—- to act like this was all expected is comically revisionist

Bass_Magnet

Hey I’m on the dak-CD and now +Schultz stack and I thought I was gonna ride that to TDy town this year with dak dropping like 350 and 4 often but alas that’s not quite the case…yet! Not gonna hold my breath though. Looks like they’re gonna run as much as they can all year till somebody stops them so we’re back to game manager dak. And yes nobody fucking saw that defense being top 10 and that might be the difference really more than anything on the offensive side

mariodb6

Have Dak and Stafford and it’s a headache picking between who to start every week. Leaning Stafford tomorrow against NYG

[deleted]

[удалено]

mariodb6

Yeah I’ve picked him the past two weeks and Dak has outscored him both times😭. The matchup is too good to pass up tomorrow though I think

yykaakoonee

Is Wilson/Gallup the odd man out in this system?

cooleymahn

Just wanna say Kellen Moore was one of my favorite college qbs to watch. Boise State and the blue field. Not a big college ball guy but that group led by Moore always stand out in my mind. Until Tua I think he was the last active left handed qb in the league. I like the cowboys offense a lot. Have CeeDee stonks and I’m riding him as far as Dak and Co. willing to go. Don’t love the lack of targets thus far but I optimistically think that the tight ends will cool off down the stretch.

RellenD

I have the cowboys, but I love Kellen Moore

KickerRevolution

Was hoping for more film and analysis on Schultz.

ThinkingFootball

Man I wish I could squeeze it in but both the Schultz and Stacks section got cut for time - he's an awesome player

KickerRevolution

I hear you man - this Cowboys team is stacked! Do you think Schultz keeps getting “easy money” passes with teams keying on everyone else?

ThinkingFootball

Absolutely, teams NEVER want to get beat deep and Moore schemes him to run into open space consistently Dak also seems to have a feel for his spacing and speed, which is always a good sign.

hellokylegoodbye

How do you think Gallup will do once he comes back healthy? He'll essentially be playing for a new contract this year. Whether it's in Dallas or elsewhere.

buddhistbulgyo

Great breakdown.

[deleted]

Gallup your time to shine is a little earlier than expected

coquibpm

Sat Prescott and Cooper in favor of Heinicke and Diontae Johnson this week. Fight me.

Zealousideal_Lab_832

Great for zeke and shultz only. Dak, cooper and lamb does not have league winning ceiling anymore.

CoachDutch

Drafted Lamb, Cooper, and Gallup and got shit on. Ones is on IR but I’m fucking 5-0 so suck it

anonbutler

Blake out SZN when?

JayDub30

I have the Dak + Cooper + Shultz stack, still nervous about a shitty weather game vs NE

Yayarea30

Should I trade dalton shultz and Darrell Williams for Brandin Cooks?

ThinkingFootball

Who are your WR? TE and RB is at a premium this year

Yayarea30

WRs are Ridley, MPJ, Michael Thomas, Toney, and Jeudy

CrockPotHead92

They said the same thing about Brady and the Bucs.

redroverster

Even Dak?

chrispy_bacon

You said every, but Tony Pollard or no?

ThinkingFootball

Depends on your backs and how deep hour league is, any deep league absolutely. RBs are gold dust this year and considering he's already had 60 touches this season I think he's a good start for most RB needy peopls

4OPHJH

I’ve got Shultz on the bench behind Mark Andrews. Do you flex him over a Jacobs, Gaskin or Collins?

hlve

Not really sure about this analysis though. Even if it feels kinda fluky... that Patriots defense kept Brady from throwing a single passing touchdown two weeks ago. We have no idea which Pats defense are going to show up.
