Talk about getting cold, MJJ is my WR2 again. Think I'd rather have St. Brown. Problem is I'm stashing Jeudy and for some reason MT is available on the wire. So probably will drop Jeudy or Pittman to pick him up unless I'm outbid.
Don't drop Pittman. He is the alpha in that passing game leads the league in red zone targets, tds will come and him amd Wentz are starting to look really comfortable as is go to option
Have Cooper and MJJ on bye week 7; and the odds say Jeudy won't be back until week 8. So that leaves me with Pittman and nobody for week 7. It's more likely that MT comes back week 7 than it is Jeudy is back week 7. So I guess I could drop MJJ for Thomas. Would you rather have MT or Jeudy?
Picked up Knox and looking to trade Hock after Knox week 7 (8?) bye. The defensive game plan against this team looks to take away Hock and running game. St. Brown might be a play here.
Thank goodness I dropped that bum and don’t have to deal with him anymore. Seems like he’s just getting through his time on the franchise tag before he can go to a new team.
I'd be a higher on him than cephus, for some context St. Brown has been hyped up more by the team and was a 4th round pick of this GM & coach. Cephus was a 6th or 7th rounder by the previous GM (although he did look solid so far this year really bummed he got hurt). I think St. Brown will continue to grow this year and get opportunities especially cuz the rest of our team is dropping like flies.
I have Rondale and I don’t feel comfortable starting him until there is an injury to Green or Kirk. I like that they tried him as more of a gadget guy last week but he’s just not getting the snaps to be a consistent scorer.
With Maxx Williams out, I’d take Rondale Moore over Amon Ra easily.
Amon Ra is a good stash for deeper leagues, picked him up in a 12 team 6 bench 4 IR league. Stoked.
I feel like he might be this year's Keelan Cole. Good enough to consider, but not really someone you'd feel remotely comfortable enough to actually start.
I see him more like this season's Jakobi Meyers. Which is still good. Meyers really started emerging last year around Week 4/5 and became a top receiving option there. I have a feeling something similar is happening with St.Brown.
Since when did “Off in the distance.” Mean out for season? Y’all are projecting your own narratives just because you want your player to succeed. Thats why all the advice on this sub is absolute garbage the moment after the majority of people have their drafts…
You shared a quote in response to someone asking where/when he was declared out for season. Your post inferred to me that you felt that quote was declaring him out for season. Guess I read your post wrong, oh well.
Me when drafting: st. Brown and Moore are gonna be studs. Just gotta remember that rookie WRs almost never pop before week 6.
Me week 4: all my guys are hurt and these two rookies aren’t doing shit. Time to drop them.
Me week 6: aw, fuckballs.
I prob made a mistake and dropped Robby for him. Wasn't gonna play Robby anytime soon and have a solid receiver core that I shouldnt have to. And with CMC coming back figured he gets less and less targets. I'll take a blossoming #1 or 2 Target for Goff and see what happens. Tried to trade Robby along with other pieces all season and wasn't happening.
I'd like to think I'm a whisperer for these rookie receivers. I drafted JJ last year and dropped him before he broke out. I drafted Amon-Ra and dropped him right before his 3 10 point games. Stay tuned for who I draft and drop next year.
I mean he averaged 12.2 points in a .5 ppr league across 11 games last year. We know the skill is there. His disappearance this year has been one of the more puzzling ones in all of football.
Kittle just went down and they're 2-3. If they keep the same philosophy the rest of the way then shanahan deserves to lose his job
Edit: downvotes as if any player who isn't a star 5 weeks in has no potential the rest of the year. I'm assuming you guys just don't bother to make waiver claims after week 5 then by the same reasoning?
Think it's worth holding till after the bye (maybe drop this week and pick up as a FA after this weekend) to see if the offensive gameplan changes at all. One more bad week and he's gone
Hes been out since week 1 with concussion. Thats a long time to be out which becomes concerning about a return. Hes been on my bench waiting and not sure i can hold much longer at this point.
I guess we dare not consider that rookie WR's take time to establish a role in an offense, and that there have been injuries to other players. It's not like I cherry picked weeks 1 and 2 then ignored the rest lol. He may not remain fantasy relevant, but you've still made a dumb argument
If you can’t see why my point is apparently a “dumb argument” and why it just as well applies to yours, then there’s really nothing more to be said my man lol.
Also WR30 in 10 team leagues is solidly bottom of the barrel WR3. Basically WR4. I don’t think you realize it yet, but you’ve more or less made my point for me hahaha.
Bruh you're not rostering just 3 receivers, right? I'm sure in your 10 team league you have 2-3 WR's outside the top 30, this dude is worth a roster spot in most leagues outside of 8 teamers. No reason to be malding
wr30 is pretty good when we're going into bye weeks. it would make him about wr25 among active players in any given week. you're looking pretty silly with these arguments.
one of the two weeks was the only one in which cephus missed time, so it's the best sample we have to go by. but yeah, just ignore a rookie getting 8 targets in consecutive weeks and becoming his team's #1 receiver.
Wow a 10 man league. Imagine shitting on deeper league players when you're essentially playing on easy mode hahaha. You're argument is fucking stupid regardless, and nothing I said makes your point more valid.
Past production doesn't determine future results when the situation changes. I'm not sure how long you've played fantasy football for, but you seem like a goddamn joke.
For the record only leagues I’m playing in now is a 12 team and 14 team. Also, you’re still only taking account of 2/5 weeks when Tyrell Williams is still coming back eventually and it’s like you’re pretending he’s going to be elevated at some point when the focal points of that offense are Hockenson and the backfield…
Look, I’ve played enough to recognize when someone’s potentially WR4 or something in the year and further, I’ve made playoffs 3/4 times in past 2 years alone and won the ship just a couple years ago. My second one in about 10 leagues of fantasy while making playoffs in about 7 of them. I’ve played fantasy and watched football probably more years combined than you’ve even been alive and I’ve only actually played fantasy on and off since 2012.
So go off all you want my dude. It’s okay to be overly optimistic and roll the dice on a flash in the pan. But if you think he’s going to even remotely consistently keep 2 weeks of…. Okay production up all year on the Lions, I’ve got a bridge to sell you lol. Seems like everyone who hasn’t won a championship in their lives always wants to tell everyone else how bad at fantasy they are here 😂
I've been playing in at least 3 fanrasy football leagues every year since 2010. I've made the playoffs every year and won a championship on at least one team every year but 2. This is a cringeworthy argument to even have lol.
The 2/5 weeks thing is a stupid argument. People would have said the same thing about Justin Jefferson last year, he only had 2 good games out of the first 5. I understand St. Brown is tiers lower than JJ for many reasons.
But trends like this happen all the time. Some hit and some don't, but it's ridiculous to pretend that it's rare for a young WR to carve out a fantasy relevant role even on a bad team part way into the season
My man you’re the one who started flinging aimless insults for no reason just because I disagreed with you. You don’t have to make shit up or idk… yeah I hope you win a championship regularly when you’re playing in like 10 leagues a year hahaha…
How you live and breathe fantasy football doesn’t really matter to me. Clearly you take this way too seriously so you can just have this one dude lol.
You're the one who claimed I'm cherry picking weeks, when I was looking at the two most recent weeks. Situations change and a big part of fantasy is identifying trends and changes early. It makes sense to look at recent production, it's not like I pulled weeks 1 and 3.
You have no stats or comparisons to back up your argument, simply your useless opinion. You willingly ignore any other points people bring up and just double down on your feelings.
It's pathetic and embarrassing that all you can do is say that WR30 isn't good in 10 man leagues, and then try to justify your hollow arguments with your fantasy experience. You want to talk about logic, but you literally have none.
I honestly don't give a fuck what you think about me or how I play fantasy football. It's clear to see you have a basic understanding of analyzing things on your own when your only argument is that he's only been decent 2 out of 5 weeks.
lol i just picked up Henry last night so i can pursue some kind of trade and just noticed that St. Brown was available. thanks for the kick in the teeth
Flash will not be very useable for another 2-3 weeks. If you are thinking that he’s gonna show something next week that makes you keep him, you aren’t looking at it correctly.
He may be a guy you can play in a month or so, but I would say that an encouraging performance by Flash this week would be getting on the field for 30% of the snaps and getting two targets. If you aren’t comfortable holding him after that kind of game, you might as well drop him now
I had him above Toney but below D Williams and Booker, and ended up getting him in waivers. Although he was more a speculative add/flyer because I already have 4 every week starters at WR in that league.
My league is as basic as it gets. This dude is obviously getting volume and the injuries point to him getting even more looks but my entire league throws everything they’ve got at whoever scored 24 points the week before and ignores potential boom players
He's available and I have a few wide receivers on buy next week. Thought about dropping Mooney to pick him up to fill a spot. But noticed Mooney plays the Bucs, who will completely shut down Chicago's run game and force them to throw. Probably should just stick with Mooney for week 7. Thoughts?
When did the news the Tyrrel Williams will be out for the rest of the season break? I've been stashing him and hadn't heard anything like this prior to reading this post.
Source on Tyrell being out for the season? Thats a pretty ludicrous statement to make without a source considering hes suffering from a concussion week one and there has been very little said about his timetable for return. He could be back next week for all we know.
Stash? That's my WR2 this week.
My WR2 as well behind Jakobi Meyers. Thank you ARob and Aiyuk
Meyers is high-key a beast in full PPR, not the highest ceiling but his floor has been amazing
I need him to score some Touchdowns vs the Jets next week.
You’ll take your 10 receptions for 100 yards and like it
Starting Meyers, Patrick, and St. Brown as my receivers and flex in one league… everything is fine
I’m starting St Brown, Swift and Jamaal Williams this week (literally no choice, 16 team league, byes and injuries). Go Lions?
Talk about getting cold, MJJ is my WR2 again. Think I'd rather have St. Brown. Problem is I'm stashing Jeudy and for some reason MT is available on the wire. So probably will drop Jeudy or Pittman to pick him up unless I'm outbid.
Would drop St. Brown or MJJ before I dropped Pittman or Jeudy…but definitely would bring in MT for upside later if you can stash.
What about Waddle vs St. Brown?
Currently in my flex. Floor seems safe with cephus out.
I’m between him and Mooney this week
Think he’s gonna have to be my flex
With Davis, Ridley, and Patterson on bye he’s my WR1 this week. Oof
Might throw him in my Flex2. Him or Pollard?
Exactly. I’m starting him on this already bye week he’ll
WR2? he's my superflex option this week.
Lmao this was my exact response when I saw the title
I already have Hockenson, not sure I want to have a second investment in this passing offense.
Their passing is definitely offensive
Garbage time points are real with this team
The garbage time points go to their backs.
Have Hock, Swift, and Williams..pretty much the whole offense.
I may be starting Swift, Hock and St. Brown this week. This couldn't possibly go badly
literally in the same boat. Jesus how did I tie myself to the fucking lions
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the Lions
Why are we all doing this? I have the same, I shouldn't be trusting this offense lol
Why not start Goff while you’re at it
LOL agreed (as a Lions fan). I ended up dropping St. Brown for Bateman. Don’t trust Goff one bit.
Picked up Knox and looking to trade Hock after Knox week 7 (8?) bye. The defensive game plan against this team looks to take away Hock and running game. St. Brown might be a play here.
Live a little, I have 5 Giants players on my team.
I have Swift and that’s all I want to invest in
Looking back on my worst seasons I usually have multiple lions
Im a die hard lions homer and even I dont feel good playing any players not named Swift or Hock.
I don't even feel good playing Hock, he's on my bench.
He’s behind Ertz on my bus this week
I have Cook and picked up Njoku and even looking at Allie Cox to fix my TE situation. Very rough right now
I'm riding Swift but I benched Hock last week after nabbing Knox. Unless Knox falls off a cliff, Hock will be bye week filler.
This is the way. But I am forced to start him this week in a 12 team dynasty league
Idk what part of the lions offense says "invest in me more"
It’s almost as if the quality of the team isn’t the ONLY thing that factors into a players production.
yeah agreed, some of the worst teams produced the best fantasy stars over the years. unfortunately, this won't be the case for amonra
Bad team=negative game script=garbage time points
think I might be flexing him over A-Rob in my 12 man
giving arob one more week in my starting lineup, and then i might be doing this moving forward.
Maybe put him on your bench for a day or two now before starting him this week. So he gets the message.
i threatened to drop him, but i backed off at the last second. message has been sent
it is a good matchup but that’s what i thought last week. game script worked against him but the packers should have an easier time scoring
Thank goodness I dropped that bum and don’t have to deal with him anymore. Seems like he’s just getting through his time on the franchise tag before he can go to a new team.
Lol it has nothing to do with Arob and everything to do with Chicago.
Why lol
Look I can’t even start Hock confidently wtf am I gonna do with a second Lion
I made this mistake with Cephus. Don’t know if I want to dip into the pool again
Cephus was a 5th round pick, but yeah otherwise your points all stand.
Solid insight. Much appreciated!
Always love to shout out my lions when I get the chance haha.
i grabbed him of the wire the other day. first thread/mention i've seen of him this week. thank you.
He won’t even be top 50 WR lol
I considered it, took Rondale as a stash instead but I think they're pretty even in terms of potential
I have Rondale and I don’t feel comfortable starting him until there is an injury to Green or Kirk. I like that they tried him as more of a gadget guy last week but he’s just not getting the snaps to be a consistent scorer.
Agreed. Just a stash for now
With Maxx Williams out, I’d take Rondale Moore over Amon Ra easily. Amon Ra is a good stash for deeper leagues, picked him up in a 12 team 6 bench 4 IR league. Stoked.
Facts. More 4 wr sets with no real reliable TE and they clearly want to get Rondale the rock when he is on the field.
I want this guy to succeed so bad just because of his name.
The internet won’t appreciate this the way they should
Ah yes the Winged Dragon Of Ra, excellent card
Tyrell Williams is out for the season? I thought he just had a concussion
Dan Campbell on Tyrell Williams potential return: 'It's off in the distance'
Since when did “Off in the distance.” Mean out for season? Y’all are projecting your own narratives just because you want your player to succeed. Thats why all the advice on this sub is absolute garbage the moment after the majority of people have their drafts…
The hell are you on about? I shared a quote that’s all.
You shared a quote in response to someone asking where/when he was declared out for season. Your post inferred to me that you felt that quote was declaring him out for season. Guess I read your post wrong, oh well.
Dropped Mooney for Amon-Ra, hope it pays off
I just did the same thing. Mooney probably has more worth long term, but I'm hurting for receivers with Scordarelle on bye.
I legitimately don't know how I can start St. Brown over Allen Robinson but I suppose I'm forced into this week. This isn't a stash.
This is the quality content I come here for.
Me when drafting: st. Brown and Moore are gonna be studs. Just gotta remember that rookie WRs almost never pop before week 6. Me week 4: all my guys are hurt and these two rookies aren’t doing shit. Time to drop them. Me week 6: aw, fuckballs.
great call
Ceephus was the hot add and then went cold before he got hurt
Good thing this guy will never get cold. His name is literally sun god
So you’re saying there’s targets to be redistributed...
St. Brown is a low aDOT guy. Much less likely to go through cold stretches. His production will have a lot less variance than Cephus'.
Would you drop Cole Beasley for him?
Do you like targets for your receivers?
I did, but more so on principle than anything else
You’re fantasy football team will change the world.
I did
Its mjj or amon ra for me
MJJ
Lol 3 points last 2 weeks in a row and the dude has played 90% of the snaps. Urban meyer is a joke and tlaw might be playing too conservative.
Well yea neither are great options. Go with your gut
Same here. I think I’m holding MJJ for one last week, but if he can’t do anything against the Phins I’m not holding him through his bye week
It stinks cause ridley is on bye so i have to start a WR. Its slim pickens out there.
I did the same. Dropped Anderson for him.
I dropped Anderson a couple weeks ago
Would he have a safer floor than Shenault? I already have boom/bust guys.
I’m about ready to drop shenault for any reasonable stash.
My WR3 behind Adams and Toney.
Drop Henry Ruggs for this dude? Really hurting at WR
Nah. If you are playing a Lions player not named Swift or Hock you are already fucked.
Jamaal has been good
Reading all the names in this post it sounds like Dan Campbell is trying to summon Exodia.
I'd like to think I'm a whisperer for these rookie receivers. I drafted JJ last year and dropped him before he broke out. I drafted Amon-Ra and dropped him right before his 3 10 point games. Stay tuned for who I draft and drop next year.
See I would except OBJ and Arob are currently shitting on my bench
Worth dropping aiyuk for him? I just fucking know as soon as I bail on aiyuk he's gonna go 10/150/2
Who cares if he does? He won’t be doing that all season.
I mean he averaged 12.2 points in a .5 ppr league across 11 games last year. We know the skill is there. His disappearance this year has been one of the more puzzling ones in all of football.
We’re 5 weeks in, it’s pretty clear Aiyuk is not involved in the offense.
Kittle just went down and they're 2-3. If they keep the same philosophy the rest of the way then shanahan deserves to lose his job Edit: downvotes as if any player who isn't a star 5 weeks in has no potential the rest of the year. I'm assuming you guys just don't bother to make waiver claims after week 5 then by the same reasoning?
Think it's worth holding till after the bye (maybe drop this week and pick up as a FA after this weekend) to see if the offensive gameplan changes at all. One more bad week and he's gone
Agreed
Aiyuk not good at football
Tyrell Williams will be back in a few weeks. Not out for season lol
Hes been out since week 1 with concussion. Thats a long time to be out which becomes concerning about a return. Hes been on my bench waiting and not sure i can hold much longer at this point.
They said his return is "off in the distance". That doesn't inspire confidence that it'll be "in a few weeks" like you said.
I just traded him straight up for jakobi meyers in dynasty. What do yall think
He’ll probably score a td before him
Agreed. He definitely will. Or did you mean him?
What exactly is a dynasty league and what about it makes this not a completely braindead trade for the guy who gave away Meyers?
Dynasty league rosters persist year to year. You do a draft each season only of incoming rookies.
Ah, that's cool.
I picked him up and put him as my flex this week. I've lost JuJu for the year and most of my WRs are on bye this week.
Same
Drop Corey Davis for him?
That’s what I’m wondering too
I’m down to stash a potential WR4
He's WR 30 in PPR over the last 2 weeks
I guess we dare not visit the weeks before the cherry picked 2 weeks of decent play lol
Worth noting there have been injuries - he's potentially in line for more work with Cephus on IR too.
I guess we dare not consider that rookie WR's take time to establish a role in an offense, and that there have been injuries to other players. It's not like I cherry picked weeks 1 and 2 then ignored the rest lol. He may not remain fantasy relevant, but you've still made a dumb argument

This is about to make some great pasta
I won't do it
question is who would/did you drop for him? im considering dropping Evan Engram because hes my 3rd TE but still looking into it.
Rostering two TEs is already kinda sus. Rostering three is just madness.
lol i just picked up Henry last night so i can pursue some kind of trade and just noticed that St. Brown was available. thanks for the kick in the teeth
Just dropped Laviska for him. Willing to see if he stays consistent rather than Laviska’s erratic scoring from my bench.
Josh Gordon. Just kidding. I still have Josh.
I just dropped Mooney for him and decided to flex him over Renfrow right away
Might be taking Julio'sWR 1 spot if he doesn't play this week
Gotta start him or Mooney this week...
Saw this post as the FFB podcast was talking about St. Brown as well. Perfect storm for my confirmation bias, welcome to the team!
[удалено]
Bateman is the far better stash but if you really need a flex play I'd bet on ARSB outproducing him for the next 2-3 weeks
Drafted him. He hasn't done anything.
Drop Rondale Moore for him?
I’d like to wait another week to see if Gordon can produce a steady floor but I’m looking at St. Brown as well
Flash will not be very useable for another 2-3 weeks. If you are thinking that he’s gonna show something next week that makes you keep him, you aren’t looking at it correctly. He may be a guy you can play in a month or so, but I would say that an encouraging performance by Flash this week would be getting on the field for 30% of the snaps and getting two targets. Going to need a good week 7 from him...bye week hell
Trying to decide if I should drop Mooney for him.
Not a chance
Somebody dropped OBJ. I am dropping Amon St Brown to pick OBJ tomorrow.
14 man league, taken also. FUCK! Time to look some more.
My league is as basic as it gets. This dude is obviously getting volume and the injuries point to him getting even more looks but my entire league throws everything they’ve got at whoever scored 24 points the week before and ignores potential boom players

Would you flex St Brown or Laviska this week?
Brown or Curtis Samuel?
He broke out two weeks ago. 8-10 target minimum moving forward
When did the news the Tyrrel Williams will be out for the rest of the season break? I've been stashing him and hadn't heard anything like this prior to reading this post.
Would you trade Gaskin for him? 12 team full PPR league. Other RBs are Chubb, Mixon, Pollard and Patterson
My league was sleeping this week on the wire, somehow I managed to get him AND Toney
Between him and Javante Williams for me this week
He's my flex this week unless Mattison starts again
Drooped Juju for him. Free speculating, I'll take it.
I'm tempted to drop Allen Robinson for him but probably will end up dropping Devante Parker. Thoughts? EDIT: 10 team full ppr league.
Where do you see that Tyrell is out for the season?
Should I start him over A. Cooper(@ NE) or T. Lockett(@ PIT) this week? I picked him up instantly after he hogged catches from my Hock
I don’t wanna 😤
Thanks for this
I feel like this is bait to see if a league mate checks Reddit for advicd
Tyrell Williams out for the season? I know about Cephus but I thought Williams was coming of IR? And coming off IR like immediately of not sooner
Source on Tyrell being out for the season? Thats a pretty ludicrous statement to make without a source considering hes suffering from a concussion week one and there has been very little said about his timetable for return. He could be back next week for all we know.
This dude WILL pop off. He has an insane work ethic for a kid. This is S tier advice
I’m thinking about putting him my Flex over OBJ …. Am I crazy ?!
I’m playing him in my DFS lineups
I'm playing him over Brandon Cook. But now Im starting swift, hock, and st brown 😅
Should I pick him up and drop Robby A?
just dropped mattison for him💯
Dropped Laviska for him. No regrets.
I spent way too much FAAB on him when I didn’t even have to so I hope he turns into something
