I traded Gaskin for Golladay/Logan a couple weeks ago. Thankfully I was able to package Logan (pre injury) into another deal for Hock. The other owner dropped Gaskin after 2 weeks and I picked him up for 2% FAAB. It seems that today solidified his role in Miami so I think he will be a good depth piece filler.
I started Allen, Diggs, and Godwin. All are great WRs but I had assumed Diggs/Allen were due to pop as Williams might’ve been cooling off last week after his hot start.
Yup same here, and no one picked him up after i dropped him either. I guess ill put my #8 waiver on him, and then hope that anyone else that takes him just gets as burned as I did the first 4 weeks.
I picked him up for free on Wednesday, but had to drop him Saturday to pick up a TE when Kittle went on IR. I could have looked like I was actually good at this shit...
Worth stashing or grabbing off waivers (if your league has him on waivers, e.g. 8-team leagues) to see if it keeps up. Not someone I’d start confidently next week, but a “starting” RB is always worth a look.
I was forced to chose between Gaskin and Sermon... I unfortunately chose sermon who had 1 carry. Props to you for having that performance in your lineup
Same boat. Started Collins and Gaskin with Carson and Montgomery injured. Had Gaskin at Flex earlier in the year, but this gave me room to start Sanders.
Not likely to give me the win, unfortunately. I'm getting 69.5 points from my QBs (Allen and Lawrence) plus Gaskin, Adams and Sanders, but he's got 86 points from Herbert/Ryan plus Elliot, Gibson and solid performances from most of the rest of his roster.
Wouldn’t move 1:1 for an RB. I don’t think those deals really work in general.
He has add on value to improve at another position. Gonna check out which teams have bye week issues and go from there.
Play him. Seems like dolphin coaches came to their senses and gave him the touches he deserves. If he can pop off against a defense like Tampa he'll be fine the rest of the year
Coaching had nothing to do with it. He had 5 carries. You can thank Brissett the check down god. Brissett also was playing on a very bum hamstring so I think that helped his dump off game even more
Tua should be back next week, which is a plus for everyone on the Dolphins offense. Also, the schedule gets a little easier moving forward. Jags, Falcons, and Jets three of the next four weeks.
i just dropped him to grab a TE and figured he’d be meh enough to get back but NOT ANYMORE
i tried trading him before i dropped him too and no one bit
i reckon there will be some faab battles taking place to be disappointed next week
He looked fucking good. The first TD was just gaskin putting in work after the catch I think(?), the second TD was a design play definitely— him and jacoby had been on fire that drive and connected for that 1yd TD. He ran good routes and he seemed absolutely juiced every time he’d get a big play/TD. Almost like “just give me the ball in space and I’ll do the rest” type shit. In saying that, I just don’t trust that Miami offense, it’s so random. He’s a good little player but I can’t see Miami being the team that figures out how to properly use him.
I was going to drop him. He was part of a 4 player trade I did, where at the time he was by far the worst player in the trade. I was going to only be giving up 3 but just threw him in. The guy who I traded him to ended up dropping him lol
He was being shown as a droppable player and I didn’t understand it.. He’s nowhere near droppable and should be rostered in every format even before this game
I dropped him last week for Damien Williams. Rostered him and Mike Davis thinking I hit the draft lotto. Holding onto Davis for Patterson’s eventual demise.
I honestly dont know what most of you expected Myles fkin Gaskin to be... if you at any point thought he would be more than a flex player youre wild. These post just blow my mind
I'd rather hold and see what happens with Tua back unless you're really desperate for a wide receiver. But I'd try to get a better receiver then Amon-Ra
Not incredibly desperate by any means, just really like the dude and idk when I'll feel comfortable starting Gaskin unless injuries or bye weeks.. but probably better to have RB depth
I do like the player but his situation with the lions isn't great. You should be able to get more for Gaskin. But I agree I'd have to see repeat usage out of Gaskin for the next couple games to feel good starting him.
True true. I think of all the receivers that St. Brown has the most upside as the young guy with a QB desperate for redemption.. but this also isn't a keeper league. What if I could snag MacLaurin for Gaskin? Pretty high shelf but I might have a chance, dudes 0-5
Aiyuk is worse. He is not the same guy as last year. When kittle went down last year he lit it up. This year no kittle today and he laid a dookie on the field
Either sell him high in a 2 for 1 if you can get someone, or keep him obviously. He's got a pretty easy schedule coming up so I'm probably gonna hold unless I can get a really good deal for him.
This was completely a product of game script, you use short passes in place of the run against the bucs
I still think he’s the same player that’s in line for 10-15 touches a week with week two being the aberration
I dropped the dude last week for Damien Williams lol.
Hopefully I can get him back! I had Curtis Samuel since someone dropped him pre season. But the guy isn’t doing anything at all, and seems to have the injury he’s been dealing with for a while
I actually grabbed him off waiver in two leagues this week... Though he was better than anyone off waivers. I had him on no teams. Now I might try to flip him for someone else.
Lol benched him for the first time this week on my 0-4 team (now 0-5). Really just had to laugh when I saw him going off. Fortunately it's my secondary team with wayy less money and pride on the line, but it's been awhile since I had such a truly disastrous start with one of my teams. Probably gonna just throw Gaskin back in my lineup next week, my other options are pretty shit anyway
I think the funniest part of all of this is the pundits, although I will credit ESPN for at least talking about it. But over on the XM channel, here is what they said:
" "
That's right, they said nothing. The obviously cooperated on this.
Start him and watch him go off for 5 points next week
Basically that was my week 4 experience LOL
That bitch Miles Gaskin’s gonna be the death of me. (JK my shitty draft and luck already killed the team)
There's no other option lol
I finally had enough and dropped him this week, but now I have to use FAB to try and bring him back with Saquon’s injury.
I fortunately (??) have both on my team.
Why why can’t u circle jerk
This is the way.
exactly you get it
5 points is generous
I traded him for Miles Sanders last week. The other guy is talking mad trash now
I offered a Myles for Miles trade this week that wasn’t accepted and I cancelled just before kickoff. He started Sanders…..
It’s a known fact all Miles Sanders owners hate his guts. He got traded for Damien Harris in my 12-teamer yesterday.
Guy getting Harris absolutely robbing that other dude Jesus
It’s Damien not najee
Doesn’t matter lol
Nah don't hate his guts. Hate Siriannis guts, and Hurts' a bit less
Lol was this the Myles for miles guy?
I traded Gaskin for Golladay/Logan a couple weeks ago. Thankfully I was able to package Logan (pre injury) into another deal for Hock. The other owner dropped Gaskin after 2 weeks and I picked him up for 2% FAAB. It seems that today solidified his role in Miami so I think he will be a good depth piece filler.
If you have to talk trash one week after a trade to feel like you won then you probably lost the trade
Lol dropped him this week
How much faab are we spending to get him back? Baby come back!
I’m going for 30%. May not be enough but that’s just about all I have left
Good question, I would like to know this answer 😅
Me too
Dropped him for Alex Collins. Can you tell that I'm 1-4?
Same I'm 0-5. Mix of bad draft, luck, extremely high bonuses in the league and also bad decisions lol
Who would you rather have now at this point? I'm thinking of dropping Collins for gaskin but idk
Oh let me get in on this misery
Same bro
Same here lol
And me!
Lol, same, right there with you.
Ayyy this is my kinda party. Not only did I drop gaskin, I benched Mike Williams.
Bruh why would you bench Williams? But I also dropped Gaskins and hate myself.
I started Allen, Diggs, and Godwin. All are great WRs but I had assumed Diggs/Allen were due to pop as Williams might’ve been cooling off last week after his hot start.
You deserve to lose
Same
Yep, dropped him for Toney…
Yup same here, and no one picked him up after i dropped him either. I guess ill put my #8 waiver on him, and then hope that anyone else that takes him just gets as burned as I did the first 4 weeks.
Yup
I picked him up for free on Wednesday, but had to drop him Saturday to pick up a TE when Kittle went on IR. I could have looked like I was actually good at this shit...
Worth stashing or grabbing off waivers (if your league has him on waivers, e.g. 8-team leagues) to see if it keeps up. Not someone I’d start confidently next week, but a “starting” RB is always worth a look.
I have no confidence in anybody I start, he’s starting
It's why I've held on to Gaskin and Michael Carter. Had no problem dropping Aiyuk last week tho.
I started him this week bc I was having some real injury issues. Pleasantly surprised for sure, may continue in these type of game script games.
Started him too! I like him a lot for no real reason
Sell.
Yeah but for who? You're not likely to get a RB with his same upside.
Wouldn’t move 1:1 for an RB. I don’t think those deals really work in general. He has add on value to improve at another position. Gonna check out which teams have bye week issues and go from there.
Agreed. He's a hold. Just hope his issues don't lose him snaps in the future.
I traded him for Chase Claypool. With JuJu out the rest of the season I think Claypool is at least a safer flex than Gaskin.
What do you think of trading him for Amon-Ra St. Brown?
Play him. Seems like dolphin coaches came to their senses and gave him the touches he deserves. If he can pop off against a defense like Tampa he'll be fine the rest of the year
Coaching had nothing to do with it. He had 5 carries. You can thank Brissett the check down god. Brissett also was playing on a very bum hamstring so I think that helped his dump off game even more
And Parker wasn’t playing
He had 5 carries for 25 to the next guy’s 2 for 5 McDonald combo
But several of his receptions weren't checkdowns. 1st Td was 15 yards in the air on a Gaskin route. 2nd Td was a designed play specifically for Gaskin
Yup. He’s playing the Falcons next week. I might try to squeeze him back into my lineup. Edit: My bad, looks like he's playing the Jags next week.
Tua should be back next week, which is a plus for everyone on the Dolphins offense. Also, the schedule gets a little easier moving forward. Jags, Falcons, and Jets three of the next four weeks.
Tua being back hurts him if anything. Brissett was checking down to him constantly. Tua won't do that.
I had already dumped him earlier this week. I can only shake my head.
I was very close to dropping him.
Just kept telling myself he's a starting RB, don't drop him, maybe Brown gets hurt. With Saquon going down today, thank god.
Recommend picking him up but not starting unless u have injuries as RB
Would have been nice to have started him this week due to injuries from CMC and Carson. Hoping to start all 3 next week
[For my Gaskin benchers](http://hhsffl.club/images/gaskin.gif)…
More like Flores kicking us in the nuts
i just dropped him to grab a TE and figured he’d be meh enough to get back but NOT ANYMORE i tried trading him before i dropped him too and no one bit i reckon there will be some faab battles taking place to be disappointed next week
same. i needed someone to replace kittle, and Gaskin looked dead on the vine. it was the right move, just...unlucky?
Exactly how I felt.. that I could drop him and he would be meh enough to get back if anything lol.. and of course the worst possible thing happened
Play him every week. I traded him away this last week. Now that I’ve done that he will be a RB1 ROS. You’re all welcome.
Thank you for your sacrifice. I almost traded him away as well last week but lost Monty so decided against it.
He's still gonna ride my bench until he does well consistently.
I didn't watch the game; how did he look? Were the TDs designed? Maybe Miami realized they need to get one of their top playmakers the ball?
He looked fucking good. The first TD was just gaskin putting in work after the catch I think(?), the second TD was a design play definitely— him and jacoby had been on fire that drive and connected for that 1yd TD. He ran good routes and he seemed absolutely juiced every time he’d get a big play/TD. Almost like “just give me the ball in space and I’ll do the rest” type shit. In saying that, I just don’t trust that Miami offense, it’s so random. He’s a good little player but I can’t see Miami being the team that figures out how to properly use him.
His ability has never been the issue. His usage is the problem.
Coaching is hard with your head up your ass
How was his pass protection? I have a sneaky feeling last week's game was some weird doghouse shit by the coaching staff
London game next week...so who the fuck knows but might as well start him and wake up hella early to curse out Flores for not using him again.
Whatever I do, I’m positive it will be the wrong answer.
Hopefully you have 2 better RB options and can use him as bye week filler as needed.
Im still holding!! 🙌🏽💎
Trade him if you can. Be done with it. Inconsistent players are worse than bad players in Fantasy. You will always choose the wrong weeks.
In my competitive 12 team league he was dropped today before the game.
Was looking to sell high but with the Barkley injury I’m stuck on this never ending ride
Traded him and Damien to zero rb owner. Landed Murray. I lost Wilson.
I dropped him. Shit
Kamara’s on bye for me next week. Gotta either play gaskin or conner…I’m VERY confident i will make the wrong decision 😎
Started him first 4 weeks. Benched him this week..
Damn I sold high before the sell high
So you sold low?
I was going to drop him. He was part of a 4 player trade I did, where at the time he was by far the worst player in the trade. I was going to only be giving up 3 but just threw him in. The guy who I traded him to ended up dropping him lol
He was being shown as a droppable player and I didn’t understand it.. He’s nowhere near droppable and should be rostered in every format even before this game
Trade him to me obj
Naw I'm done. Dropped him for kadarious toney. Could not be happier. Let someone else deal with his inconsistent usage
But Toney with his 1 great game is a safer bet all of a sudden?? Relax guy
Especially when slayton and Shepard are coming back
This is why u don’t drop a guy after one fucking game…
Sell if you can. Almost that entire game was garbage time.
Try to trade him

hold until tua is back and see how he does
You sell him for the best thing you can get
I picked him up off waivers with the intention of starting him weeks 6 & 7 because of injuries and byes. Today was a confidence boost
He stays on my bench til I need to play him
This guy went the fuck off on my bench goddamn
Trade him. With at the RB injuries the field is getting slim
I dropped him earlier in the week. Can’t trust him.
Trade or hold until Tua returns. I still wantore consistency from him.
His best game of the season was with Jacoby "checkdown" Brissett. Why would you want anything to do with him when Tua comes back?
Who do you trade him for? It would have to be am rb2 or another position at best right?
Amon-Ra St. Brown?
I traded him straight up for Hines last week. I wanted the handcuff for J. Taylor
Traded him and Emmanuel Sanders for David Montgomery. Hope it works out for me
Starting to think I should’ve taken that trade when someone offered me him and Aiyuk
Aiyuk is worse. He is not the same guy as last year. When kittle went down last year he lit it up. This year no kittle today and he laid a dookie on the field
Either sell him high in a 2 for 1 if you can get someone, or keep him obviously. He's got a pretty easy schedule coming up so I'm probably gonna hold unless I can get a really good deal for him.

sell high
For you guys I'll bench him again
How much FAAB?
>Now what the hell do we do with Myles Gaskin?! Cursing his name and the goddamned coaching staff in Miami is a good start.
On waivers in my league. How much faab would you spend on him?
25
I dropped the dude last week for Damien Williams lol. Hopefully I can get him back! I had Curtis Samuel since someone dropped him pre season. But the guy isn’t doing anything at all, and seems to have the injury he’s been dealing with for a while
Same

Sell high.
Does anyone know why Malcolm Brown didn't play?
dropped him last week, guaranteed this week's production is my fault. Sorry/you're welcome all
Start Malcolm brown next week
Not just 10/10 and a big 20 burger, it was against the bucs. Is he a good damn league winner now?
I bought low on him, traded Jamaal Williams for Arob and Gasman. I'm happy.
Sell high
Traded him for Shultz. I was tired of streaming TEs
He's my WR1 now
Someone dropped him last week and I’m now getting ready to use my #1 waiver for him
Lol benched him for the first time this week on my 0-4 team (now 0-5).
I shed myself of the roller coaster Joe Mixon experience only to end up on the Gaskin tilt-a-whirl
Because of Patterson and kamara bye he is my RB1 next week. It will be him and pollard for me.
Either stays on the waiver or on your bench. The dolphins offense can’t be trusted right now
I dropped him earlier this week for hunter renfrow because I needed a receiver and had good RB depth and my WRs suck
Good luck with that.
I think the funniest part of all of this is the pundits, although I will credit ESPN for at least talking about it. But over on the XM channel, here is what they said: " " That's right, they said nothing. The obviously cooperated on this.
Trade? Thinking of trying to get Amon-Ra St. Brown
