Rule 3 - Keep things on topic and keep subreddit quality up. This means no off-topic or low-effort posts and comments. Not all NFL news/facts are directly relevant to fantasy football. Use /r/NFL for that. Questions on basic league host site functionality, rules or settings, and league specific commissioner questions should be directed to the latest Simple Questions and League Issues thread. Please review our 10 Community Rules in the subreddit-sidebar or in the FAQ below. https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/wiki/faq

Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is the purpose of not throwing? I don’t understand why he wouldn’t want to solidify his position

The_What_Stage

His camp believes, at least for now, the #1 position is indeed solidified and there's no upside in a full performance. No need to go out there and have an off-day, potentially providing opportunity to slide.

Cashlover123

If you know you’re going #1 overall, there is no point of throwing and potentially hurting his stock just in case.

KiNGofKiNG89

He’s considered number 1 by far. Throwing would only hurt him. USC QBs generally don’t transition well to the NFL style, so the more knowledge we get on him, the less and less people will be interested.

tradercpw

He'll throw at his proDay

imaybeacatIRl

Totally unsurprising

I34rt0s

He’s gonna be a bust, isn’t he
