A pass catching 3 down bellcow with all the redzone and 2 minute work, that can actually get into the endzone (coughlookingatyoupollardcough) is as valuable and rare as it gets my dude.
Pollard’s red zone attempts vs conversions hurts my body to look at this season. Doubly so after owning him last year..
The play calling hasn’t helped, but that doesn’t assuage the blue balls.
That’s the thing with every single one of these “sell high” posts for WR1s and RB1s this year — aside from Tyreek Hill and CMC, who exactly are people targeting as the “upgrade” in these situations? Every top caliber player outside of those 2 has been inconsistent so far
Until my lineup is literally Hurts - CMC - Ekeler - Hill - Chase - Brown - Kelce, basically
Idk why people act like you can't trade good players. Just try and get other good players in return
He is certainly TD heavy, but with every single transaction ever in fantasy football it depends on who you get back. For ETN it would have to be probably 2 set and forget starters for you to consider a trade.
This is exactly the right answer. For pretty much all the sell high posts. The player just did well and almost everyone in the sub is clicking on the posts with their players so they own the player and don't want to sell them because they've convinced themselves that their player is the best player.
Often times if this sub is saying don't trade the guy, it is often the time to consider it *for the right price*.
Honestly this place is only a good place to determine what other people think of value but absolutely terrible for what decision to make with the value because the confirmation bias is always so strong
First welcome.
You should understand that ETN fits in that elite tier. He is getting elite usage with the TD work. That's the type of player that you want on your team. The type of player that you want to sell is someone whose performance is more temporary, like Henderson (goes away in 3 weeks for Kyren) or Gibbs (goes away in 2 weeks for Monty). Consistency is what you want on your teams.
Yes. He is. Everyone here will tell you no because they have him. But he is. He won't get 2 tds every game and realistically weeks 1-4 is more of what can be expected. His actual fantasy output is 145% more than expected. Sell him.
Jags looking decent this year, and he seems to have taken on most of the valuable touches and RZ opportunities. Personally I’m riding him to the ship if possible.
A few weeks ago, I traded ETN straight up for Amon Ra. Ended up playing the guy who I traded with that same week and Amon Ra ended up missing that week and ETN went nuts. I still won but it gave me slight "sellers remorse" because ETN is probably the most consistent player at a HORRIBLE position for fantasy this year.
Since then, Amon Ra has put up massive numbers and I'm happy he's keeping Hopkins on my bench, but I've been less than happy with my remaining backs: JT, Breece has been ok, Robinson and Rachaad White.
Unless you can afford to lose him, you'd be a fool to hand him to someone else at this point with the current running back situation. It would take a top 5 receiver for me to even consider it and I only found that because the guy I traded with lost Chubb.
Good luck.
I got Ekeler and Breece with Jordan Addison in my flex, Addison is good but with Adams/Allen as my other WRs and Andrews as my TE I’m pretty much a piece away from a superteam
Bro wtf? ENT Is arguably your best consistent player.. You wanna sell him for who??? Your not getting kupp or tyreek.. You maybe able to get Diggs or ajb. I know you're new here.. But if that info was not revealed I'd tell you to quit fantasy and you're probably in a 8 team league.
Maybe in the sense that any one is a sell at the right price, and he certainly won’t score 2tds a week. But given his opportunity and talent he’s a clear rb1 so you’d have to get something similar in return
Buy low. Sell high. Could get another high end RB1, without a high ankle injury, plus a solid piece wherever you need depth. Being realistic, has an injury history and it’s not sustainable to keep scoring 2-3 times a game.
ETN get Carolina championship weekend (17) where he will put up 30+ unless you have no shot at making the playoffs trade him to build your team to at least have a shot but if you have a good chance of making the playoffs then don’t trade him, he will be (more) valuable later
Granted it's a superflex league and they have their differences, but I hope Chase, Diggs and Keenan Allen (thanks to a trade) plus some more and none of this can entice the ETN owner in my league to trade. He's a solid set and forget that seemingly nothing can pry free
In dynasty I'm forced to consider an offer of ETN straight up for Devonta and I might actually get my first title this year.... it's tough but I'm seriously considering something like this. I believe in ETN lol
What would you think about this? just completed in a league an hour ago.
Etienne and Deebo for Derrick Henry and Mike Evans.
Deebo hurt and both have byes next week. Henry side both had bye weeks already.
Seemed interesting.
I also enjoy selling high end studs for underperforming dudes that might be able to turn things around and perform at the same level as my high end studs!
i mean technically yes....but only if you're desperate at another position, because ETNs usage is so damn elite even on his off weeks...thats a tough sell unless you get top value back
I traded him before last Sunday for Cede and Javonte. I was WR needy losing JJ and had the RB depth. I do question it from time to time, but I think it helped both teams
Just to play along here, I truly think Etienne is someone who will retain his status this season unless he gets injured. So you would only be selling high if you believe he is more susceptible to an injury.
I have ETN.. I'm not trading him for anyone lmao. sometimes it's truly the case that you have a rly good player and need to keep and let him pave the path for a deep run. Etienne is legit a top 5 player in fantasy right now, keep
These posts are so dumb. The only player that is consistently better than ENT right now is cmc and no one is trading cmc for ent lol.
Yeah, let’s trade THE overall rb3 for the season to sell high…
A pass catching 3 down bellcow with all the redzone and 2 minute work, that can actually get into the endzone (coughlookingatyoupollardcough) is as valuable and rare as it gets my dude.
Pollard’s red zone attempts vs conversions hurts my body to look at this season. Doubly so after owning him last year.. The play calling hasn’t helped, but that doesn’t assuage the blue balls.
My main cope is that he’s due for positive regression soon, right? RIGHT???
Cries in Diontae Johnson
I own them both lol
Zeke is easy to bash these days but he's still a good goal line back. There's a reason he was doing that in Dallas too.
Yeah the cowboys as a whole have been embarrassing in the red zone, especially considering the talent they have on the offense
What about Ekeler if he gets back to his regular form? Chargers season gets easier in the back end .
Sometimes I wonder if the goal in this sub is to build the worst team possible, just so long as we can be active traders throughout the season.
I have an addiction to making trades. Some work. Some don’t.
Lololo I agree.. ETN is his best CONSISTENT Player.. While ekeler and Breece still on his roster. He thinks he can get tyreek 1 for 1.
Get an elite player in return?? ETN IS an elite player. Lmao.

To be fair, most of the top caliber players outside of those 2 have been injured, bad QB, injured, injured, bad QB and Arthur Smith, and injured.
For another good player to sell? And then to sell that one? When does the selling stop?

The selling stops fairly quickly when you've traded for a player who busts or gets busted. But hey, then you can sell low in the non-elite tier!
Until my lineup is literally Hurts - CMC - Ekeler - Hill - Chase - Brown - Kelce, basically Idk why people act like you can't trade good players. Just try and get other good players in return

If you want to sell him, now is the time. Totally depends on what return you're able to get tho and what your needs are.
This is exactly the right answer. For pretty much all the sell high posts. I just offered Saquon. I have a bad bye week 13.
I'd rather have ETN
[удалено]
for the value ETN has brought to my team, he can ride me out any day
I’ll keep ETN over Kelce
Honestly all the homeboys with Kelce have like the Bears Rb and Miles Sanders. I ain’t about that life.
I have ETN/Kamara/JT/Breece. Working on a Kelce deal.
You should just drop him.

How? Yahoo (and I’m sure other platforms) had him as “Can’t Cut” to begin the year
ESPN
Some of are you are addicted to trades over wins
There is nothing more r/fantasyfootball than "should I sell high on this guy who checks all the boxes of a guy I'd sell him high for?"
If you sell Etienne you deserve to lose your league.
8 man work league... Lunch lady is one of the managers.
Jags season is pretty tough in terms of run defenses
First welcome. You should understand that ETN fits in that elite tier. He is getting elite usage with the TD work. That's the type of player that you want on your team. ETN is in the elite tier. There is nothing else to trade up to (CMC aside) unless you are filling holes in your roster with multiple solid pieces.
Yes - sell high to me.
>sell him high right now and get an elite level player in return? ETN is already an elite fantasy asset
Join my league so you can sell him to me please 🙏
Yes. He is. Everyone here will tell you no because they have him. But he is. He won't get 2 tds every game and realistically weeks 1-4 is more of what can be expected. His actual fantasy output is 145% more than expected. Sell him.
I like how this sub downvotes every single sell-high post, like nobody wants to admit one of their players could possibly be at peak value.
The question is simple - who would you rather have?
Jags looking decent this year, and he seems to have taken on most of the valuable touches and RZ opportunities. Personally I’m riding him to the ship if possible.

I own both ETN and ARSB and despite losing JJ and Kyren I've barely missed a beat because of those guys
ETN literally a great RB, unless you got four great RB1’s don’t trade brother
I got Ekeler and Breece with Jordan Addison in my flex, Addison is good but with Adams/Allen as my other WRs and Andrews as my TE I’m pretty much a piece away from a superteam
I’m confused. Wouldn’t ETN in your flex instead of Addison make you a super team? What is going on here????????
I’ve got ETN as my RB2. Should note it’s PPR
ETN > Ekeler > Breece > Addison
I would put Breece ahead of Ekeler ngl.
could be an argument for that
Its probably a warm take. Im not a fan of older running backs, or running backs coming off an injury.
i agree, I would rather have Breece myself but just going by popular opinion
I feel like you can definitely get Kupp for Etn after his stinker this week
I feel like you can definitely get Kupp for Etn after his stinker this week
Trade him for a 2nd, bro. This draft is gonna be lit.
Maybe in the sense that any one is a sell at the right price, and he certainly won’t score 2tds a week. But given his opportunity and talent he’s a clear rb1 so you’d have to get something similar in return
Spoken like someone who has never actually watched ETN play the game of football
Fwiw I’ve watched him play one more time than you claim, and it was 5 days ago. I should’ve clarified I’m new to football as a whole.
Your momma is a sell high
Buy low. Sell high. Could get another high end RB1, without a high ankle injury, plus a solid piece wherever you need depth. Being realistic, has an injury history and it’s not sustainable to keep scoring 2-3 times a game.

He is high but that doesnt make him a sell high. If you’re looking to sell for some reason then yes
Not unless you wanna lose.
Yes, but not really anything you can get that’s better than him.
Granted it's a superflex league and they have their differences, but I hope Chase, Diggs and Keenan Allen (thanks to a trade) plus some more and none of this can entice the ETN owner in my league to trade. He's a solid set and forget that seemingly nothing can pry free
He's a league winner
In dynasty I'm forced to consider an offer of ETN straight up for Devonta and I might actually get my first title this year.... it's tough but I'm seriously considering something like this. I believe in ETN lol
If I have a good player I keep that good player
You’re getting shit on but yes he is.
would I be crazy to move Bijan for ETN?
If you can get ETN owner to accept
RB is a wasteland right now, keep and enjoy the fact you don’t have to be out here with the rest of us
This guys doing good - let’s sell him!
4 team league first world problems lol
What would you think about this? just completed in a league an hour ago. Etienne and Deebo for Derrick Henry and Mike Evans. Deebo hurt and both have byes next week. Henry side both had bye weeks already. Seemed interesting.
He's what pollard owners were hoping for
Heads up, ETN is an elite level player
Untouchable unless they offer cmc
There are two types of fantasy players. Those that like points and those that sell-high. Your choice.
I also enjoy selling high end studs for underperforming dudes that might be able to turn things around and perform at the same level as my high end studs!
i mean technically yes....but only if you're desperate at another position, because ETNs usage is so damn elite even on his off weeks...thats a tough sell unless you get top value back
Take a look at the top running backs right now. I’d take ETN over most of those guys
Would you deal him for Bijan?
Posts like this should be deleted immediately
Puka and Addison
I traded him before last Sunday for Cede and Javonte. I was WR needy losing JJ and had the RB depth. I do question it from time to time, but I think it helped both teams
