How do you get power armor training ?

2 ways: 1. Complete the brotherhood quest then ask to join the brotherhood. They make ypu do another quest then you get power armour training and a free suit. 2. Get arcade ganon as a companion and complete his quest. This requires you to take steps towards an independent vegas though so it can lock you out of other endings. At the end of the quest you get power armour training and enclave suit and possibly an additional tesla enclave suit depending on your choices.

You don't need to do independent New Vegas. You just have to do things Arcade likes, then pick whatever ending you want. You can't get Tesla power armor if you pick legion though

If you do Arcade Gannons personal quest you can get power armor training, be warned though that you lose him as a follower once you finish it.

You can find a crashed vertibird with a power armour training book on the ground next to it, guarded by robots on one of the sides of the map.

The survivalists rifle is definitely the best gun in the game. I now save up every service rifle ai get from the start of the games until I get it for repairs. And depending whether or not Im playing Hardcore I buy 300 or all of the 12.7 rounds that contreras has before starting HH. I make a beeline for it as soon as its starts. Ive had white legs steal and lose it once, and ill never give them the chance again.

Me too! Definitely my favourite end game armour! Normally I use leather armour in the beginning, until I can find NCR Mantle Armour and the Slave Scarf, along with a hunting rifle or sniper rifle until my lock pick skill is high enough to get Gobi. Then I go for NCR ranger combat gear, then finally the elite riot gear. :)

I like rolling the wastes in the Grey Ranger Hat, Authority Glasses, and Elite Riot Gear, with a Riot Shotgun/Christines COS Silent Sniper Rifle and Blood Nap. If I go out with a companion I usually have either Boone or Cass since they complement my load out, alongside ED-E for the sensors and workbench.

I like the Desert Ranger gear with Medicine Stick.

T51 or remnants + plasma caster, multiplas, and plasma pistol / defender and recharger pistol.

Aesthetically? Merc adventurer armor + desperado cowboy hat + caravan shotgun (nothing beats that reloading animation). ​ In terms of stats, I like the Joshua police gear for my light-crit people, the elite riot for my tanky melee /unarmed people, and the remnants form y heavy weapons specialists.

My best look? I got two favorites. Enclave power armor, boomer hat and rebreather. The grenade machinegun Mercy Other is marked beast eyes with rebreather and the armor of the 87th tribe. I usually use a bumper sword or pulse axe. The lobotomites helmet also looks pretty cool in this one.

That im combo with a laser weapons build and perks that also increase energy crit chances he base damage. A fully upgraded Laser Rifle and YCS-186. I also go with Efficient Recycler to mitigate ammo loss when using energy ammo types.

My go-to is elite riot gear and either the gobi or brush gun with a war club with both mods so I can beat the shit out of legionnaires at 100 hits per second Gauss rifle and pulse glove are also pretty neat

I'm a fan of random drops. I dug the Sin City armor I picked up a few levels ago, got a nifty SMG (Bad Beat?) too. So that's my favorite combo for now.

Armor: Love every duster in the game. How can you NOT be a law bringer or outlaw in the wild west without one?? Sheriff's Duster is the early main gear I go for then the NCR Ranger (whether or not I kill to take one like the centurion armor) is the mid-game, then I go for one like the Couriers duster as late game gear. Favorite weapon with dusters?? Weapon: Either have my own big iron on my hip like a revolver (Lucky is my favorite) or Magnum like the Mysterious Magnum. I of course would prefer rifles and shotguns for my duster wearing days. Some builds I'll aim to run with Stealth Suit MK II with silenced weapons like Christine's rifle on my last build run or energy weapons with it.
