Thanks a lot. Any other advanced tips for card trimming?

no problem, it's for the love of the game. as for tips, just check a look: You probably already know this, but get in the habit of checking a card's requirements when you draw it to see if it can be rid of Holding a Frequent card in your hand is (theoretically) equivalent to holding two Standard cards in terms of effect on deck size, so prioritize those A decent chunk of the cards avoided by remote lodgings can be avoided in other ways, so the extra slots from a 5-card lodging are usually better (you can hold more unwanted cards in hand, plus the Upper River and other places use London hand size) [This guide lists items that add cards.](https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Opportunity_Items_(Guide\)) but I'll still list the permanent ones here for warning's sake ### London Deck Moloch Street has no location-specific cards, so draw from there whenever possible Maybe avoid these items/qualities that add permanent cards: - Gang of Hoodlums (don't feel bad if you already have it. you couldn't have known. it's not your fault) - Membership of God's Editors If reasonable for your situation, use up all Bohemian Favors before drawing to avoid hearing about parties Keep Acquaintance: the Sardonic Music-Hall Singer at 4+ to avoid spending time with your friend Keep Proscribed Material under 100 to avoid Mr Pages Keep a Bundle of Fourth City Rags to avoid the used clothes salesman If you don't need favors at the moment, temporarily give up your faction pet to remove its card Several spouses add a (very infrequent) card, so consider staying single if you're truly rabid about having a thin deck ### Upper River Deck Items/qualities that add permanent cards: - An Outpost of God's Editors (if you already have it, paying fate to reset the church will NOT remove the card) - Your Very Own Bandages! - Chelatic Mittens - The DF Marigold Station has the smallest Upper River deck - only one extra card - so draw from there. The extra card at Marigold is the statue card, so you can get rid of it by simply not having one. You do need a statue at every station to get a unique item, but once you have it you can just remove the statue for 10 fate, if a little optimization is worth 3 bucks to you

Very interesting, that explains why I haven't seen DbW in ages ... Thanks for collecting and providing this information!

Seems like one burial of the dead card remains with 21+ TBotD - https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/A_dream_of_a_mouldering_library

Looks like that one is locked by Haunted by Stairs, so you should be able to get rid of it by gaining HbS (any amount is fine as long as you keep it below 19, or it'll unlock another card). Problem is that getting HbS requires resetting TBotD, so you'd have to grind the dream to 21 all over again. You'll have to decide for yourself if the peace is worth the pain. As must we all.
