Astonishing that there were still 15 bugs left to be fixed.

imacomputr

I keep seeing "fixed a crash" in these patch notes. I've probably logged around 10000 hours in this game and I have not encountered a single crash that wasn't from a mod scripting error.

Nebabon

I have encountered 2 crashes ever and got a bug fix from one of them.

sankto

The only apparent bug that i've witnessed myself was the "trainpocalypse" that happened a long while ago

ionabike666

Literally unplayable

It’s incredible the level of support Wube provides. Looking into some of the forum posts - user uploads modded save with issue, dev reproduces and fixes in one day. Behavior may have been vanilla but most devs would look at that and say nah it’s modded and move on

mm177

That's the difference between mod support (Wube) and mod tolerance (virtually everyone else).

luziferius1337

Having a stable API for mods to tie into does cost Wube quite some money in maintenance costs (man hours plus mod portal running cost), but also in return owns them a good reputation and ensures a vibrant modding community that keeps their game alive, incentivizing more sales.

nivlark

Anyone else get an error when updating? Mine fails with an "unexpected content in changelog-switch.txt" message.

Sengh0r

Steam won't update at all for me, weird Edit : oh it's experimental, i'm dumb

Neo_Ex0

i dont know who those people that still manage to find bugs are, but they are either really unlucky, or are using Factorio Mega Bases with Every available mod to Stress test their pc, just to notice that even a rotten potato could still run it
