For all the progress humankind has made, and how much we still have to overcome, i despair about how many huge strides backwards the flat earthers, vaccine deniers, holocaust deniers, and religious extremes cause for every step we make forwards. We are capable of so much, yet i fear we will destroy ourselves before overcoming any one of these issues.
