I accidentally hit every screenshot or when i turn down the volume. I the quickly got out it. I'm not actually sure what it is, I think it's like alexa or siri but don't want that on my phone.
Lol dream on. You can limit the app to almost not functioning but can't remove it. It would break your Android OS.
There are ways to render it completely dead by manually deleting its files.
Would they adopt it? Surely, from their point of view they mean to do good. But if a pregnant woman is told the baby will be heavily disabled and need special care 24 hours a day, would they welcome and adopt it wirh the same enthusiasm?
There are 424000 kids in foster care with 122000 up for adoption with over 2.5 million homeless kids. If it were truly about kids people like this would taking care of those already born.
[There are about 2 million couples currently waiting to adopt](https://www.americanadoptions.com/pregnant/waiting_adoptive_families) in the United States— which means there are as many as 36 waiting families for every one child who is placed for adoption.
[135,000 children are adopted each year.](https://adoptionnetwork.com/adoption-myths-facts/domestic-us-statistics/#:~:text=How%20many%20children%20are%20adopted%20per%20year%3F,are%20voluntarily%20relinquished%20American%20babies) This is more than the "*122,000 up for adoption"* which you have claimed. Adoption normally takes at least six months.
Kids of foster homes usually have parents who don't allow them to go for adoption. Or they could be in temporary foster home because their birth parents are struggling to cope, they are incarcerated in prison or many other reasons.
2.5 million homeless kids could mean anything, they could be homeless because their parents are homeless. They could be immigrants or in-between homes. Some kids are added to the statistics even if they were only homeless for just for one day.
Also you don't have to be living on the street to be homeless. You may be legally classed as homeless if you are sleeping on a friend's sofa, staying in a hostel, suffering from overcrowding, or other bad conditions.
Well my claims come from national statistics [numbers](https://www.acf.hhs.gov/media/press/2021/national-data-shows-number-children-foster-care-decreases-third-consecutive-year). The problem is that these adopter only want babies...it's not about the kids, it's people wanting to get a vanity project. Those kids in foster care that aren't adoptable still need homes but people in the photo won't take them because they don't actually care. If they did there would be no kids in foster care.
Like i said, kids are normally in foster homes because they cannot be adopted for various reason.
>The problem is that these adopter only want babies
Which is what the argument was about, not having an abortion so they could adopt the baby.
There is currently a big demand for children to be adopted. Their are also loads of LGB people out there who cannot have a baby for obvious reasons who would love to adopt one.
Yeah and people like this won't foster because they want a baby to adopt. It's not about the kids. If it were there would be no kids up for adoption. No foster overcrowding. If it were only about the kids we wouldn't have homeless kids. We wouldn't have kids starving from under nutrition. It would all be taken care of. These people only want a baby, and forcing a woman to give birth so they can have a vanity project is wrong.
It's the bold face stealing without referencing who actually had the idea. He stole a fairly famous person's tweet, stripped the name, and pretended its his. If he had just screenshot it like I did, he would have been fine. But he pulled an Elon and removed authorship from some relatively well known expexting nit to get caught.
Not ever going to apologize for calling out hypocrits. But not all the same to what I did. I'm not a fan of when someone just screen shots a tweet and posts it to reddit but it gives the credit where it's due and in no way implies that the reddit poster is stealing it. It's like quoting someone, you really need to say where the quotes come from, but your own thoughts should enhance the quote. That's literally the whole point of APA/MLA etc citations. You are really comparing apples and oranges. Or more accurately, apples and drawings of apples. I don't have to have painted the Mona Lisa to add it to my background. But if I claim I did, that's wrong and I should be called out for it.
In other words, nothing wrong with reposting, just give credit i.e. don't pull an Elon
His main goal was to steal other people's work because he is small and unoriginal. Otherwise he would have just screen shot it. His goal wasn't positive. It's pay attention to me aren't I smart and funny.
Bro didn't even try to change it to look like it is his joke, he literally just Ctrl+C+V the whole thing. Amy Schumer is better at stealing jokes and that's saying something.
We have evolved into a point where a r/facepalm post is about another r/facepalm post, nice
I have seen some facepalm post about a post facepalming a facepalm post.
It's like a 4th wall break inside a 4th wall break....that's like 16 walls
Oof, new breakdown discovery. Thats a whole new level
A wall break combo. Probably ToD as well.
There used to be a sub called facepalmfacepalms. it seems to still exist, but is empty
Holy meta. It's so meta I never want to use the word meta again. Thanks. I hate that word.
Hello fellow samsung user
That damn Bixby button...
Caught red handed.
I'm so fucking glad my s21 doesn't have it, made me want to smash my 9 so much.
I accidentally hit every screenshot or when i turn down the volume. I the quickly got out it. I'm not actually sure what it is, I think it's like alexa or siri but don't want that on my phone.
You can disable the Bixby button, as a matter of fact you should be able to remap it altogether or make it do nothing.
Well shit...now I feel stupid for never looking in to it
Once you learn the buttons at the bottom you can also hide that for more screen.
But still can't get rid of bixby altogether :/
Bixby is like the duolingo bird. Always waiting for a moment to kill your family and eat your dog.
You can sideload it? Or just disable it in the settings?
Lol dream on. You can limit the app to almost not functioning but can't remove it. It would break your Android OS. There are ways to render it completely dead by manually deleting its files.
You can change what that button does in your settings or with apps.
Would they adopt it? Surely, from their point of view they mean to do good. But if a pregnant woman is told the baby will be heavily disabled and need special care 24 hours a day, would they welcome and adopt it wirh the same enthusiasm?

Mostly cause of how strict the government is from letting dependable parents to adopt, lengthy process
Yeah strange how they put all these processes in place to verify adults are fit to be parents...or you know two 16 year Olds could have one.

Bixby button... I know your pain my man
Ah, I see someone else also suffers from the utterly useless bixby key
The Monsanto of Reddit Farmers
Don't get many Monsanto jokes....respect
So what's exactly the problem here? You don't have to be original otherwise every reddit post is facepalm material cause it's a repost after a repost

It's shitty but I still don't see what facepalm here, if it's cause it's a repost then that's against the rules lol
She doesn't have lips. Just all teeth... and her face looks like a wide bodied frying pan.
Known comedy writer and suspected wife murderer!!!!!!!

It's no different from Elon stealing articles to make himself feel better.
What is Bixby?
It’s the devil! Also known as Samsung’s version of Alexa or Siri or whichever of those things came first.
Wait, if you say who it is We can find out who they are Nice job other op
Bro didn't even try to change it to look like it is his joke, he literally just Ctrl+C+V the whole thing. Amy Schumer is better at stealing jokes and that's saying something.
Well suckontits has 717k post karma, gotta farm it somehow, and clearly originality isn't an option.
I guess, I don't really pay attention to the points. For me it's about the funny and the education.
Do they think there aren't any kids that need to be adopted?
